In Mrs. Jones' classroom, Mrs. Jones explain the lecture of the Three States of Matter on the board and everyone take notes of the lecture.

Mrs. Jones: They have different properties, which can be explained by looking at the arrangement of their particles. Solid is when the particles are packed in tightly, they can barely move at all. And also the state in which matter maintains a fixed volume and shape. For example of the matter solid are: bricks, ice, wood, and paper.

Esra: How is paper a solid?

Mrs. Jones: Paper is made of cellulose molecules and other particles that are arranged randomly by the paper-making process. This prevents them from forming a crystalline structure that would define paper as a crystalline solid rather than an amorphous solid.

Esra: Oh.

Mrs. Jones: Liquid is when particles are less tightly packed as compared to solids. Liquids take the shape of the container in which they are kept. Liquids are difficult to compress as particles have less space between them to move. Liquids have fixed volume but no fixed shape. And we all know the examples of a liquid: water, milk, juice, coffee, etc.

Alya: That's good to know at least. *She clicked her mechanical pencil and wrote down those examples and Marinette wrote them down too. *

Mrs. Jones: Gas has no fixed shape or volume. The atoms or molecules that make up the gas fill the container that holds them. The gas expands until it is uniformly distributed throughout the container, even in the presence of gravity.

Nino: (raised his hand) So gas is just the particles moving around freely?

Mrs. Jones: Yes, Nino. The gas particles move freely. And gases like helium, hydrogen, oxygen, and air are examples of gas matter. There is another matter called plasma. *a few students were confused about that one. *

Mark: We never heard of plasma.

Mrs. Jones: Now I know this one is a little confusing, but it will be more understanding once I tell you about it. Plasma is often called "the fourth state of matter," along with solid, liquid and gas. Just as a liquid will boil, changing into a gas when energy is added, heating a gas will form a plasma – a soup of positively charged particles, like ions, and negatively charged particles like electrons. Write down, you might be tested on this one. *They all write down the lecture notes on Plasma. * Now onto more of our lesson plan. *In the bakery, it was close to lunch time, and Melanie put in the finishing touches on big cookies and jumbo cupcakes. *

Mulan: They look great, Melanie.

Melanie: Thank you. Think they're ready to be displayed. *She takes the tray of decorated big cookies and puts them on display. *

Mulan: These look pretty good. Actually really good.

Mushu: Oooh a cookie.

Mulan: No, Mushu. These are for the customers.

Mushu: Aw, man. *Melanie then put the decorated jumbo cupcakes on display too. *

Melanie: Think that's done. *Tom opened the kitchen door and he saw Mulan and Melanie putting up the cookies and cupcakes in their display. *

Tom: How are things going?

Mulan: (closing the cookie display case) Good, uncle.

Melanie: (closing the cupcake display case) All good.

Tom: Okay. Marin is here, he's already done with lunch and he's gonna help out with us.

Mulan: Okay. *Tom walked back to the kitchen and wrapped up before going for lunch. *

Melanie: Think we're done here. If I may?

Tom: Of course, Melanie.

Melanie: Thank you. *She leaves the bakery and go to the nearby cafe for lunch. *

Marin: Dad, think the croissants are done.

Tom: Okay. Be there soon. *He walked into the kitchen and checked on the croissants. * They look done. *He takes the pan out of the oven and place it on the counter then let them cool off. *

Shang: The cheesecake is all done.

Tom: Thank you, Shang. I got the brownies out, the cakes are all baked and decorated, the other pastries are all done. We'll just restock them and then leave the bakery for lunch.

Marin: I already had lunch. Mind if I have a snack instead?

Tom: Sure, son.

Marin: Thanks. *He holds a pan of fresh baked cookies and leave the kitchen to back counter. *

In the living room, Sabine did some painting when the landline phone ring.

Sabine: (standing up) Hmm who could that be? *She walked to the land line, picked up the receiver, and started talking into it. * Hello?

Yéyé Gregory: (through the phone) Hi, Sabine.

Sabine: (on the phone) Hi, dad. How are you?

Yéyé Gregory: (on the phone, moving the phone line cord) It's good. How about you? How's my little grand baby growing inside of you?

Sabine: (through the phone) Good. I'm starting to show a little bit.

Yéyé Gregory: (on the phone) That's good. How far along are you?

Sabine: (rubbing her stomach, on the phone) I'm close to two months.

Yéyé Gregory: (on the phone) Two months? Huh. I thought you were a month.

Sabine: (through the phone) That was in July.

Yéyé Gregory: Right, now I know now. Listen, the reason I'm calling is because... tomorrow is your mom's birthday.

Sabine: Oh. It is?

Yéyé Gregory: Yes. I know you guys can't fly up to Beijing to see her grave, and I understand that. The kids are in school and you and Tom don't want to miss any school day.

Sabine: That's right. And I have some medical appointments too, so traveling is out of the question.

Yéyé Gregory: Understandable, honey. I'm glad to hear you're doing okay.

Sabine: Yes.

Yéyé Gregory: Your siblings and the other relatives will visit her grave and pay her respect on her birthday tomorrow.

Sabine: I'll tell the kids when they come home from school.

Yéyé Gregory: Okay, Sabine. Love to the children.

Sabine: Okay. Zàijiàn, dad.

Yéyé Gregory: Zàijiàn, Sabine. *They both hang up, Sabine looked at a picture of her mom, she picked up the picture frame, and sighed. *

Sabine: (tears welt in her eyes) I love you, mom. Happy early birthday. *Soon, the door opened, Tom, Marin, Mulan, Shang, and Mushu walked in and Sabine didn't hear them walking in. *

Tom: Honey? Is everything okay?

Sabine: Huh? *She wiped her eyes and put the picture of her mom back on the table. * Oh, it's nothing. I'll... tell you when Marinette, Bridgette, and Timmy come home from school.

Tom: Okay.

Marin: Think it's serious?

Mulan: I don't know. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Tom: (sighs) Hope not too. *On the Island, in the Volcano Lair, Scarlet Truther scowled and think of a villain to bring to Paris, France. *

Scarlet Truther: Ugh. I'm running out of options on getting their miraculous. I have to get a villain who is powerful, strong, and possibly indestructible and unbeatable to get their miraculous and beat them for good. But who? *She walked to the double doors to the right, walked inside, and she see villains working on their weapons or testing out their new powers. * Hmm...

Icy: Scarler Truther?

Desiree: Hmm. Wonder who she gonna get. *They all gathered around her. *

Scarlet Truther: I need a villain out there. I'll go with... Monsieur of Disguise.

Monsieur of Disguise: Really? Moi?

Scarlet Truther: Yes, you. Who else? Come on. *He walked up to her. *

Monsieur of Disguise: But I want to say something to you.

Scarlet Truther: What is that?

Monsieur of Disguise: I had the henchmen work on something for me. I don't want to be Monsieur of Disguise anymore.

Artimez: And why don't you want to do that?

Scarlet Truther: Hold on, Artimez. Why don't you?

Monsieur of Disguise: I figured my power is worthless and not fully powerful.

Scarlet Truther: Hmm. So what did they put together for you? *Monsieur of Disguise revealed a belt, he pressed the button on the buckle, it start to glow blue, he turned in a circle, then showed off his form. *

Granny: What in the...

Frost: That's new.

Mucus Man: Who is he?

Scarlet Truther: Impressive. Who are you now?

???: I am Dormammu.

Scarlet Truther: Dormammu? Interesting. What's your power?

Dormammu: Fire, of course. *He made a fire ball appeared. *

Scarlet Truther: Hot.

Dormammu: If you don't mind, I may have some help for this one.

Scarlet Truther: What kind of help?

Dormammu: This kind of help. *He stepped aside and five new villains walked up. A few villains murmured, some whispered. *

Scarlet Truther: Who are they?

Dormammu: Scarlet Truther, this H.I.V.E. Five. *The H.I.V.E. showed off their powers. *

Scarlet Truther: The H.I.V.E.?

Dormammu: Yep. Introduce yourselves to Scarlet Truther.

Jinx: I am Jinx, my power is bad luck, sorcery, and hex spells.

Scarlet Truther: Interest.

Gizmo: I'm Gizmo, I'm a criminal expert of technology.

Scarlet Truther: Technology, there is a fairy who is also known for technology spells. You?

See-more: The name's See-more. I have an eye with a wide variety of functions mounted on my high-tech helmet.

Scarlet Truther: Hmm. You?

Billy Numerous: I'm Billy Numerous. I'm a Multiplier. Meaning... *He duplicated himself into three clones of himself. * I can clone myself into any number of me.

Scarlet Truther: Pretty good. *The clones disappeared, and it's just the real Billy Numerous. * Who's the big guy?

Mammoth: I'm Mammoth. I have super strength, enhanced stamina, Above-average durability, and I have a voracious appetite.

Scarlet Truther: Good to know, minus the appetite thing. Come with me. *They leave the room and head to the front of the Lair. * So, I have special assignment for you all, I will tell you later though.

See-more: Wonder what it is.

Jinx: No clue.

Scarlet Truther: For now, get to work on your powers and come out when you're all ready to go. *They nod and walk to the doors on the left and work on their powers. * Let's hope they can pull it off.

At College Francois DuPont, in Mrs. Denvers' art class, her class starts learning about abstract art.

Mrs. Denvers: There are all types of art in the world, not your basic portraits you see at the Louvre, but something more authentic and fun.

Lukas: What could be more fun than art?

Mrs. Denvers: Have any of you ever heard of abstract art? *Some answered yes to Mrs. Denvers. * Well if some of you don't, allow me to explain it to you.

Janelle: This should be good.

Kelly: Really?

Janelle: Yeah. Pay attention, Kelly. *Maria shush them and pay attention, Janelle and Kelly scowled at her. *

Mrs. Denvers: Abstract art that does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures. Here are some examples of abstract art. *She drew down a screen and revealed a few abstract artwork. *

Mrs. Denvers: Here is some abstract work. *They looked at it. *

Theo: So abstract is just splashes and blobs of color?

Mrs. Denvers: Yes, Theo. But the work has a meaning behind it just in how you look at it. Do we all understand that? *Everyone answered yes to Mrs. Denvers. * Good.  We'll work on some abstract artwork tomorrow then you'll see what I'm talking about.

Theo: I was looking forward to paint.

Abby: 'Whatever.'  *In the Dupain-Cheng's residence, it was lunch time for everyone, except for Marin. He goes into the pantry and gets a snack. *

Tom: Marin, didn't you have lunch?

Marin: I already ate.

Tom: Okay. *Marin reached for a small bag of goldfish crackers, he opened the bag, and ate one. *

Mulan: (showing Shang a tubeware container with food inside) I packed your favorite. Pork dumplings.

Shang: You know me so well. Thank you, sweetie.

Mulan: You're welcome. *She blushed at that compliment. Tom holds out a bowl for Sabine. *

Tom: Hungry, dear?

Sabine: Yes, I am. Well, we're hungry.

Tom: (chuckled) Here you go, some satay chicken with rice.

Sabine: Aww, how did you know?

Tom: It's one of your favorites, plus, I got you a box of 6 cupcakes.

Sabine: (opened the box and revealed the cupcakes) Thank you, honey.

Tom: My pleasure. *They both kissed, he walked back to the table as Sabine tried the satay chicken with rice, while he ate his chicken parmigiana. *
