An anxious feeling overwhelmed me as Oh kyung-ho approached me and detective Nakamoto. I recognized him almost immediately. He's known to be the best, especially at interrogating suspects.

Which made him think I was a suspect.

I would never kill my girlfriend.

...

Would I?

My head began to hurt. The same seething pain that came earlier. The flower which I still held slipped from my hand onto the floor. I could feel Detective Nakamoto's eyes on me. Analyzing my every move. My every breath. Did she suspect me too?

"Jungkook," her soft hand held mine. Caressing the back of my hand with her thumb. "Are you okay?" I looked at her. Her long eyelashes fluttered as she blinked in slow motion. Her lips pouting ever so slightly. And her eyebrows being furrowed. I calmed down after hearing her whisper like voice.

I nodded as I faced Mr. Oh. "Yes, you can. Lead the way." Mr. Oh gave a satisfied smile as he began walking away.

"I'll be back detective Nakamoto. Make sure to not show anyone the evidence we found, alright?" She gave a nod before I walked away, following Mr. Oh.

"Right this way." After driving for an hour or so we walked into a dark room. The only source of light being a crooked lamp that sat on a table. The table being in the center of the room, had two chairs on either side. Mirrors covered the walls, showing me my reflection everywhere I looked. The room smelt of burning wood and cinnamon. I sat down on one of the chairs while Mr. Oh sat on the opposite side of me.

"You are being recorded," Mr. Oh pressed a red button that sat on a black box. I just nodded, not knowing what to say. "So, Jeon Jungkook, I've heard great things about you. How you've solved great mysteries and cases."

"Yes."

"How long have you been working as an officer?"

"A few years, seven I believe."

"How come you aren't a detective when you're clearly more than capable?"

"I like working as a cop."

"I'm going to cut to the chase. Did you kill your girlfriend?"

My mouth was held agape. I was flabbergasted. I furrowed my brows as I shook my head. "No. Why would I ever kill my girlfriend?." Mr. Oh just nodded as he scribbled in a notebook.

"What were you doing when the victim got murdered?"

"With my partner, Yuki Nakamoto." That's right! She can testify for me.

"Ah right, so I was told." He put his pencil to his lips, nodding. He looked at what he wrote before looking at me.

"Okay, then can I go? I'm innocent aren't I."

"Just one more question. How long have you and the victim known each other?"

"We met ten years ago, started dating six." I sighed as a hand went through my troubled hair. I was exhausted.

"You seem anxious. Nervous?"

"I thought that was the last question. Can I leave now? I have to work and I don't like keeping my partner waiting." It was clear I was innocent. Mr. Oh was testing my patience. I didn't even have a proper moment to mourn yet.

"Yes sorry. Thank you for your cooperation Officer Jeon." Mr. Oh began to stand up, and left the room. I was still sitting there sighing in disbelief that anyone would accuse me of murder. After leaving the building, my head began spinning. It may have been all the stress, but something told me it wasn't. I felt like vomiting. My head hurt.

RING RING

My phone rang, pulling me out of some sort of trance that I was in.

"Hello?"

"Officer Jeon, are you done with the interrogation?"

"Yes, we just finished."

"How was it?"

"Good..I think. Because I was with you the night of the murder, I plead innocent thankfully."

"That's good," I heard a long sigh, "we should meet. I found something that will interest you. I'll text you the address"

"On my way."

'Seems like I won't get any rest today'
