I opened my eyes and everything hurt. I couldn't move. I heard Cali talking to herself, or maybe she was talking to me. I ain't have the strength to say nothing back so I just sat and listened to her sing. She kissed my forehead and I felt myself drift into a deep sleep after she left.
Why is it so dark? I looked down and saw blood. I saw Mike run out the door. I felt blood on my hands. I laid back as I felt the burning sensation of torn flesh. I saw Cali run in screaming.
Black Again.
I see Cali crying in bed, her dad's on another businesses trip. I climb in her window and hand her an oreo.
"I'm not hungry." She covered her face.
"Fine, more for me" She snatched the oreo and ate.
"Not hungry my ass" I said eating an oreo.
She pushed me on the floor and hit me with a pillow.
"Shut up punk"

Her lips were warm. Her body was too. I leaned in.

She kissed my forehead and started to walk out.
"Yhunno it's rude to look through people stuff while they trynna sleep,right?" I said struggling to sit up.
She turned around and ran to the bed. She grabbed my face in her hands and kissed my cheek then she wrapped her arms around my shoulders.
"Damn, I got shot and all I get is a kiss on the cheek?"
"Boy shut the hell up" she turned my head and kissed me.
Me being the savage that I am, I slid my tongue in her mouth and she accepted it.
"Ewwwww" I pulled back and saw Sierra laughing. Cali turned red and sat down in the chair next to the bed.
"Watchu saying "eww" for? You little bean head ahh little girl? Bring yo rattle snake face ass here" I teased as she grabbed my ear and hugged me.
"You still ugly. They should've did a surgery on yo face." she said laughing
"You need to be in surgery, trynna get rid of the rabies with yo racoon faced ass." I said sticking my tongue out.
"My baby" my momma ran in trynna squeeze me to death.
"Damn, momma that hurt" I said trynna breath.
"Stop all that cussing dammit" she said thumping my forehead.
Cal's parents ran in and squeezed her like my moms did me. After about twenty minutes her dad came up to me.
"Thank you, son"
"No problem Mr.J" I said as he was dapping me up and hitting my shoulder.
"Jordan don't hit him so hard"
"Can I talk to Shawn?" Cali said over everybody's chatter. Everybody got quiet.
"Alone " she said with a bit of annoyance.
Everybody went to the waiting room.
She looked at the ceiling.
"Whassup with it? " I said looking at her.
"You love me Shawn? " she said still looking at the ceiling.
"Girl, look at me. I got a damn bullet in my chest for yo ass, bring yo ass here." She got in the bed and laid her head on my chest.
"What happens if us being together don't work out? Then what? " she said, still looking at the ceiling.
"Who said we had to be together? Ion even like yo anaconda faced ass like that." I said looking at her. She mushed my face.
"Girl, you think about shit too much. If it don't work, I'm still ya best friend. " I said kissing her forehead. She smiled and I closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep with her in my arms, like it should've been all along.
