"It won't budge!"Norika sighed, exhausted from pulling the club room's front door

"But this place is different from our own school"

"I can feel my energy shooting right up!" -Goujin

"Raise your skills instead"Kozoumaru said angering Goujin.Yosano laughed at the two

"Are those the guys joining our soccer club?"muttered a few students

"Are those hicks even able to play soccer?"

"You must be the soccer team from Inakuni"There stood an orange haired girl, poised and elegant along with a few girls

"Yeah, that's us.Who are you the welcoming committee?"Yosano asked, the girls behind her gasped

"I am Mikado Anna, as student council president.I overlook management of all club activities.Evaluating the new soccer club is also the student council's responsibility"

"What do you evaluate from us?" -Goujin

"If we find you unworthy, you will be kicked out of this school immediately"

"A sponsor team has no right to name itself Raimon"

Judging already before game..Yosano thought

"We'll win and take back our soccer" -Asuto

"Do you even know who your opponent is?"

"Seishou Academy's ace striker is known as the devil of the field.Once you catch his eye, he'll pummel your team beyond any chance of recovery"

"His name is Haizaki Ryouhei"

"I've heard of him, Seishou Academy always wins the games that he plays in by over 10 points."

"But he only appears in every three games.Maybe you'll get lucky of the draw.Besides, even if you manage to beat the #1 ranking Seishou Academy in a million-to-one chance, it would turn the world on its head"

"Then we'll win and turn it on its head!"Asuto said but a few girls only laughed at his remark

"In any case, we'll be observing what you've got in your first match"

"Tch what a rude bunch"

"Well when you think about it.."she muttered

"From their point of view, we're a group of bizzare hicks who just crashed into their school.We won't be accepted as the replacement for a once popular soccer club that easily."

"I guess that's true.."

"Oh there you all are!Thank goodness!"A girl ran behind us, she wore a white collar shirt with a green bow tie.

"You're the soccer team from Inakuni, right?That makes you the new Raimon Eleven!"

"And you are?"Yosano ask

"Allow me to introduce myself.I have the honor of being Raimon soccer club's manager.My name is Ootani Tsukushi.Nice to meet you all!"

She then escorted us to the principals office.Who began to explain what happened to the original Raimon.Afterwards, we were then led to the gym to our coach

Wait a minute.. Yosano felt her eyes twitched when she saw him

No please not him!

"Everybody line up.I'm trainer Kameda.This is coach Zhao Jinyun"His laughter filled the room, she sighed tiredly

"Everyone at ease"

"Our coach is.."

"What the hell are you doing here old man?!"She asked he only smirked

"Amari chan what a pleasant surprise"

"Yosano san do you know him?"

"Of course she knows me, she's my daughter"The whole team erupted in confusion

"Ehhh???!!"

"Adopted"she corrected him

"Aww come and give your father a hug"He said running towards her, she only leaned away from his touch

"Eww no I don't want your bacteria on me old man!"

"No way, Yosano san you're related with the coach?!"Asuto said in disbelief

"Again adopted"She corrected him, she dragged him by the ear away from the group as she muttered

"What are you doing here?"

"Why I'm here to support the new Raimon Eleven"

"I don't know what you're up to but it's up to no good!"She sighed this time longer from the last.Walking back to her spot

"Anyways as of now, you're official members of Raimon's soccer club.So behave as is befitting of the role."

Yosano Pov.

We were then handed our soccer uniform along with our eleven band

"Not bad"I said checking myself in the mirror.My red hair was clashing with the shirt but it does make up for my hazel eyes

"You look great Yosano san"Hiura approached, wearing his uniform

"Thank you, It suits you Hiura kun"I complimented, his cheeks turned slightly red

"T-thank you"He smiled shyly

We heard our eleven band beeped

"That must be the coach signal we should gather up"Ootani said calling everyone's attention

Once we got there, we were given our training plan preparations for the upcoming game next week

"That's it?"

"The match is next week

What's are you planning old man?..I thought

"That's it everyone!"He said everyone was shocked."That's all for today's meeting!"

"We want a training plan that will help us win.Give us something that will produce hissatsu techniques!"-Goujin

"Hmm.. there's no need to rush for that.."

"But if we don't win we'll lose soccer!"

"What you need not to do, in order to keep playing soccer is...not lose!"Everybody fell down

"How dare you make fun of us!"Goujin yelled about to jump the coach.We held him down

"Calm down Goujin senpai!"I yelled

"My instructions are final..if you skip I'll know right away thanks to the eleven band"

"What do you think is on coach's mind Yosano san?"Asuto asked, we ran laps around near the riverbank

"All kinds of things honestly..that old man always has tricks up his sleeves"I nonchalantly said, speeding up ahead the group

He does have a point, we need to build stamina and strength..the others are still beginners that's why he assigned this training plan..
I thought

Time flew afterwards, it was now sunset.Everybody was tired from running.We remembered how the townspeople were welcoming, cheering us on while running around town.We reached the manor, there we were greeted by an old woman named Yone

We were all assigned paired in rooms.I was roommates with Norika

"What a day.."Norika sighed lying by the bed

"This is only the beginning"I said, she nodded

Back to the present, they were running behind the opponent.They were currently 3 points ahead.We quickly knew we were losing this match.

"What's wrong tired already?"Haizaki provoked, shooting towards the goal

"We can't lose here!"Asuto yelled

"Dammit.."I muttered, trying to steal the ball but they quickly passed it to another

"I thought you were gonna show us who's what, all talk no bite"He smirked

Without his notice, Asuto caught the ball passing it to Hiura and then to Kozoumaru

"Shoot it!"I yelled, he used his fire tornado but this time it was caught by the goalkeeper

They blocked it..

"Your cheap shot won't work this time!"

They began to score until it was a nine.I panted sweat dripping my body

"Overhead penguin"Haizaki shot, we ran trying to find a way to block it

"I'm not letting you goal!"Asuto yelled

"Fight it to the end"

"I will never give up!"They scored.The whistle blew and the game ended.

"A natural outcome.."

"True but..Nishikage could you investigate a little on this Raimon?"

"Understood"

Haizaki pov.

"Those nobodies.."I muttered

"It's rare to see you worked up"Coach Kuduo said

"Seeing their soccer just ticked me off a little..especially that girl.."I said, looking towards the red haired girl standing near the bench

"They've got spunk in their eyes, lit up like it's on fire"

"The reason why seeing them bothers you is because they're making an actual effort to win"

Yosano Pov.

"That's it we're finished!"

"We won't get to play soccer anymore"Hanta whispered sitting down with the others

"It ended all too soon"

"Why are you guys looking so down like that?"I said catching their attention

"Yosano san is right.Soccer won't leave us!"Asuto followed."I'm sure we'll get another chance as long as we don't give up!Soccer has been with us through hardships that's why we won't let them take soccer from us"

"We'll definitely take it back one day"I continued."Since we've come all the way.How about we go sightseeing to ease our minds!"

We went to the infamous, Tokyo tower.The view was amazing, you can really see the whole city from above but it seems it wasn't enough to cheer up the team

They began to breakdown and cry together catching the eyes of some of the tourists.

"Oh c'mon..here of all places.."Kozoumaru said.I could only comfort a few

Reality hurts..but they needed to face the truth even if it hurts them in the process..

We were then interrupted by a man who claims he caught interest of the team and is willing to sponsor them.It was a popular travel agency.Even though we lost, we were given the opportunity

A few cheered, others cried.I was happy for them.

We get to play soccer again..
