Today was a day when we had to go to the beach. I grabbed my black and red (one-piece/two-piece) swimsuit and put it on, then I put on some black shorts, a dark blue shirt, and one of Rin's jackets. I grabbed my shoes and grey towel then made my way over to Rin and Yukio's room with (F/n). Rin opened their door and saw me. "Is that my jacket?" He asked dumbfounded, I nodded. "Yup! You left it in my room last night when you were teaching me about Assiah. It's mine now.~" I teased and began walking to the staircase to leave the dorm. "Hey wait!" Rin yelled and ran up to me. "Why are you always stealing my crap!?" He said annoyed, I looked at him offended.

"Hey man, I return them!" I said pretending to be hurt.

"Yeah like a few weeks later!" He argued.

"That's because it loses your smell!" I fired back but then immediately regretted it, my face turned red.

"What are you talking about?" Rin asked with a dumb look on his face.

"Nothing! Let's go before we're late!" I said and continued walking, (F/n) trotting next to me.

We made it to the ocean, "Time to hit on some chicks!" Shima exclaimed happily, I facepalmed. "You're such a perv." He ignored my comment and kept walking to the beach. Rin, Kuro, (F/n), and I followed along with Izumo. Rin and I were stuck on grill duty while Izumo and Shima got to enjoy the water. Kuro and (F/n) were laying down on the sand in the shade. "Step right up folks! Our grilled squid is so awesome it melts right in your mouth! You won't mind selling your soul for a taste!" Rin said trying to get people to purchase some of our grilled squids. I began to laugh so hard I started crying, Rin looked at me and frowned.

"What's so funny?" Rin growled.

"Sell your soul for a taste?" I laughed harder.

"It's a figure of speech!" Rin yelled.

"Nice demon joke!" I continued laughing.

Rin growled and mumbled then began to continue grilling some squids. 'Rin they smell so good! Can we have some!?' (F/n) and Kuro begged for some grilled squid, I looked down at them and smiled sadly. "Sorry guys, but it's for sale." Rin said, "Plus I'm pretty sure cats can't eat raw squid." I added, Rin nodded. Kuro and (F/n) whined then laid back down on the sand sulking. "Guys, I don't see poka brows anywhere." I said looking around, Shima came walking over to us. "Poka brows?" I looked over at him and smiled. "Oh, yeah. Rin and I nicknamed Izumo 'poka brows' because of her eyebrows." I laughed awkwardly, Rin turned off the grill and we all went looking for her. "There she is!" I said pointing down towards the shore, then we ran up to her.

The sun was setting and we were walking on the side of the road on our way to where we'll be staying. We ran into the kid that saved Izumo, we ended up taking him to the pet store since he was lost. I looked at the cats and dogs they had inside, they were all so adorable. "Man animals that aren't demons are way cuter!" I said putting my fingertip on the glass of one of the cages, the cat inside came up and tried to bat at my finger. (F/n) who was on my shoulder hissed at the cat. "Oh relax I won't replace you!~" I teased. The kid who I didn't bother to learn the name of got what he needed and off we went, on our way to where we'll be staying for the remainder of the mission. We all looked at our dinner, a bunch of squid-based foods.

Kuro and (F/n) were already fed so they were on the floor sleeping peacefully in between Rin and me. I groaned and began to eat what I found to be tasty, once we finished eating our PE teacher told us about the Kraken. He got a call and walked into the hallway to answer it, he hung up after we all four leaned out the door. I was on all fours on the bottom, Rin was leaning over me, Shima was leaning over Rin, and Izumo was leaning over Shima. "I wanna know who kitty cat is." Rin said after Izumo complained about being an intern. "His booty call, what do you think?" I said sarcastically towards Rin, he looked down at me and growled. "Now can you get off me? You're heavy!" I complained while blushing, Rin, Shima, and Izumo got off and I sat up rubbing my back.

"Okumura you know what this means?" Shima asked, Rin looked at him confused. "We get to swim our asses off!" Then they clasped their hands together and smiled, "Heyyy you can teach me how to swim Rin!" I said excitedly, Rin looked at me confused.

"You can't swim?" Rin questioned.

"Nope, where I come from, there was no place to swim without being eaten." I shook my head sadly.

"Where'd you come from?" Izumo asked confused.

"My dads' ballsack." I said smugly.

"No smartass, she means hometown!" Shima said trying not to laugh.

"A place." I shrugged.

Our PE teacher then instructed us to babysit the kid that saved Izumo earlier today. Rin and I groaned then we made our way to our bedrooms. I carried (F/n) and Kuro to our bedroom while Rin and Shima followed. "Man I can't believe we have to babysit that dumb kid!" Rin said grumpily, Shima sighed.

It was now morning and I woke up to Kuro and (F/n) pawing at my face.

'Wake up!'

'It's the sea! It got worse!'

I tried to sit up but I couldn't, something was tightly wrapped around my waist and wouldn't let me move. I turned as best as I could and saw Rin with his arms wrapped around my waist and his tail wrapped around my leg. I blushed hard, my face felt like it was on fire, I was able to feel my heartbeat beginning to race. I carefully took his tail and stuffed it in his shirt so when Shima and Izumo woke up they wouldn't see it. Luckily my tail was still wrapped around my waist. Rin pulled me closer to him still in deep sleep, he was so close, so warm, it was very comfortable, I felt safe and I liked it. I started to doze off again until Kuro pawed my face.

'You can cuddle Rin later! Look at the sea!'

'But she can't, friends don't cuddle. It's something mates do.' (F/n) told Kuro, I was now fully awake watching them talk.

'I thought they were mates? They sure act and fight like one.' Kuro said to (F/n), I blushed hard.

'They like each other but are too dumb to say anything.' (F/n) shook her head.

"What do you mean we both like each other?" I asked quietly not wanting to wake up the others.

They looked at each other then back at me, 'Nothing!' They said in unison then began to wake up Rin. I frantically tried to get out of his grasp embarrassed for the future conversation about him cuddling me in his sleep. Rin woke up and noticed he was cuddling me. He half screamed as he quickly let go of me and scoot away, waking up Shima and Izumo. "Why were we cuddling!?" He yelled blushing madly, Shima and Izumo looked at us like they wanted to laugh.

"Why are you asking that!? You're the one that wrapped your arms around me! Not the other way around!" I stood up pointing at him.

"Then why didn't you stop me!?" He said pointing back at me, now standing.

"I was asleep you dumb fuck!" I fired back.

"She totally liked it." Shima laughed, Rin and I whipped our heads to face him.

"Shut the hell up!" We yelled in unison.

And with that, I walked out of the bedroom we all shared and got ready for the day. (F/n) was with Kuro who was with Rin, I felt so embarrassed, I wonder if Rin liked it? I mean he was the one that did it, in his sleep or not he still did it. We all looked at the ocean, it was almost solid black. Izumo ran off to go look for Yohei, the kid who saved her, leaving Shima, Rin, Kuro, (F/n), and me alone. We all went back to the inn and spent the rest of the day inside. I was reading a book about Assiahs animals since I found them quite interesting.

I saw Shima and Rin on the balcony looking out at the sea in shock, I looked up and saw the giant squid out in the water. Rin, Shima, Kuro, (F/n), and I ran over to where Izumo and Yohei were to protect them. "That thing is a lot bigger than I imagined." I said as we stopped running, the giant squid was already so close to shore. Kuro and (F/n) ran towards the giant squid in their giant cat form and both head-butted the squid, growling at the squid they got ready to fight.

"You got this (F/n)!" I yelled.

"Kick his ass Kuro!" Rin yelled.

We looked at each other and blushed then looked back towards our familiars. The giant squid tried hitting Kuro but (F/n) ran and bit the tentacle that almost hit him. Kuro then jumped in the air and bit the squid's fin at the top of its head. Both (F/n) and Kuro fell and turned back into being small. Rin, Shima, and I ran up to them both. I picked up (F/n) and Rin picked up Kuro. "Are you guys ok!?" I asked worried, Rin looked just as worried. "Cats can't eat raw squid, it paralyzes them!" Shima explained, I looked over at Shima still holding (F/n) close to me.

"I thought that was some dumb saying." I said.

Shima shook his head. Izumo ran up to us asking where Yohei went, she tried summoning her familiars but the squid made her paper seal wet. Rin handed me Kuro then ran off. "Where are you going!?" I yelled at Rin, but he ignored me and dove into the water to help the boy.

We saw some man on a makeshift raft screaming for Yohei. We all made it onto the doc safely and watched as Yohei talked with his father, the squid left by now. "Even demons can have a change of heart, that's what I've been trying to teach you." Sideburns, our PE teacher said. I looked up at him and smiled big, hearing a human say that and mean it made me happy.

"Ok, I'm going to let you go now. Don't worry and stay still, ok?"

Rin said cautiously as he slowly removed his hands from under me. I felt extremely nervous that I would sink but I stayed as still as I could. "I'm floating! Rin I'm floating!" I said happily I turned my head to look at him and made a wrong move making me fall into the water. Rin pulled me up and I jumped onto him hugging him tightly. We both fell into the water but he brought us back up.

"Hey what's the big idea? Trying to make me down!?" He jokingly yelled.

"Thank you so much for teaching me these things."
