If you're looking for a detailed analysis on the relationship between Sasuke and Kakashi, then you've come to the right place. This book offers a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between Sasuke and Kakashi from Part I to Boruto.

When I first alluded to working on this project, I was surprised at the enthusiasm the announcement garnered. Since Sasuke and Kakashi's bond isn't my favorite of Sasuke's relationships, I made the mistake of assuming no one would much be interested in an analysis of their relationship. So to my surprise, my announcement that I was working on an analysis on Kakashi and Sasuke's relationship generated more interest than I expected.

Once I realized I had several interested readers looking forward to the analysis, I drafted this work up as fast as I could, typing everything in jumbled snippets here and there over several months. It involved rewatching and rereading quite a bit of Naruto content (which was obviously enjoyable). I researched and read many fans' opinions and dug up as many analyses on Kakashi character or on Sasuke and Kakshi's relationship as I could, though I was both surprised and disappointed to find that detailed analyses on Kakashi and his relationship to Sasuke were not as plentiful or easy to find as I had expected they'd be.

This book ended up being a lot longer than I intended. I hadn't originally factored in quite how many scenes there were between Kakashi and Sasuke, nor had I realized how long it was going to take to winnow out everything of significance and analyze it in satisfactory detail (or maybe too much detail). On top of that, the more I researched popular and common opinions on Kakashi, the more wanted to also include my own thoughts on the common controversies around Kakashi as a teacher. As a result, this ended up being my longest analysis yet so far.

This book focuses on the dynamic between Kakashi and Sasuke, but also on other topics as well. This work naturally lent itself to explaining a lot of the reasoning behind Sasuke's decision to dessert Konoha, and I covered other topics, such as how Kakashi's teaching methods were a big contributor to Team 7 falling apart, the common controversies around Kakashi's teaching methods, Team 7's team dynamic and relational chemistry, and analyses of Kakashi's psychology and Sasuke's psychology and how their pasts shaped them into the people they became. So hopefully this will provide a good sense of the story from both Sasuke's and Kakashi's perspectives.
