MEHRUL POV
I was sitting on the bed while sameer went to get me some food
He stayed the night with me and wouldn't allow my own mother to stay

Our wedding date was fixed and I was getting a gut feeling that something is going to happen
'Assalamulaikum' I heard samiya come in the room
She came and hugged me tight putting her face in my neck
I replied to her and kissed her head
'How was your day' I asked and she sat straight
'Aapi I really want you to talk to bhaijaan' she said looking nervous
Oh God saad what have you done know

'He saw me with faiz today and scolded me telling me to break my friendship with faiz ' she pouted
I smiled
'I'll talk to him don't worry' I told her and she again hugged me tight
'Samiya no don't lay on your aapi she's already weak' sameer said to samiya and she was about to standing up
'No it's ok' I said to her and she again got comfortable
'But lar-' he was interrupted by me showing my hand to stop
He smiled at us

'Han tou tell me more about faiz' I said to her stroking her hair
'Who's faiz' sameer asked
'Her friend' I told him
'Why do you have guy friends Han' he asked
'Why can't she have guy friends' I asked him
'Because...because' and he went silent
'And if anything happens my guriya knows how to handle them' I kissed her head

'She's asleep' I said to sameer
'You want me to remove her' he asked and I nodded
He picked her up in a swift not disturbing her sleep and placed her next to me
I laid down and he went out closing the door and the lights

SAMEER POV
I closed her door and went out everybody was sitting on the table
I also sat
'Bhai mehrul kaha hain' mahd asked me
'Sou rhi ha' I told him

'Dekho meri bachi aik din nhi thi aur sab kitna soona soona ho hogia ha' rafey chachu said
'Ye tou ha mehrul ronak ha hamare ghar ki aur ab tou mehrul ka chhota version bhi ha' minahil chachi said and everybody laughed
'Wese kaha hain samiya' manal asked
'Woh bhi sou gai' I replied
'Uska aur kaam Kia ha' saad said
'Beta teri chugal lagai ha mehrul ko ab dekh btaegi woh' I said to saad

'Haye Allah ab Kia kara mene' he said slapping his forehead
'Wese aik baat batao aapko samiya pasand ha?' Mama asked saad
And he shook his head
'Pehle hi pooch rhi hoon isse pehle mehrul samiya ka kahi aur token katwa de mashallah meri bachi ha hi itni pyaari' mama said again and everybody agreed
I saw saad clenching his hand in a fist
I placed my hand over his
'Relax' i mouthed him
He took a deep breath

'Wese mama why is mehrul deciding everything for samiya' mahd asked Amal chachi
'Because samiya ki adoption mehrul ke naam ke under hui ha Kun ke legally mehrul is old enough to conceive a child so she can adopt one as well' amal chachi replied to him and mouthed 'ohhhh'
'Tou samiya ki mom mehrul hui' zohan asked

'Kind of magr legal guardian Ziada acha word ha ab guardian tou Kuch bhi ho sakta ha' Ahmed chachu said this time
'Tou agar mehrul samiya ki maa ha tou sameer baap hua' zayan pointed his finger at me coming to conclusion
All the eyes were on me
'Arey wah sameer tu tou baap ban Gaya btaya bhi nhi' hamad said winking
I slapped my forehead at his stupidity

Everybody bursted into laughter
'Tou mama aap mehrul ko koi bhi cheez se mana nhi kar sakti samiya ke decisions mai' Murat asked
'Kar sakti hoon magr mujhe pata ha mehrul Kuch galat nhi karegi ab dekhi kitne ache se rakha ah samiya ko' Amal chachi said

'Hmm dekho itni pyaari ha itni suljhi hui ha tameez ha kabhi badtameezi nhi ki aur grades bhi ache aate hain' and mama started listing the pros of samiya
'Lekin grades the credit tou mai saad bhai ko deti hoon' shahnoor said
'Koi ni bichari ko daanta rehta har waqt' mama fought back
'Aik tou ache grades bhi dilwao upar se mehrul Alag class meri aur aaplog alag,tum daanto tou pyaar hum daante tou badtameezi' saad whined and everybody bursted into laughter

SAAD POV
We were having fun at the table and obviously they had to point me out whenever we talked about samiya and when mama listed listen her pros

I realized how great she was
She is really the little version of mehrul
I was working from home today
It was 2 hours later and I was sitting in my room when i heard a knock
'Ajao' and the door opened
'Woh bh-bhaijaan aapi bola rhi hain aa-aapko' she said and was about to go out when I stopped her
'Ruko' I said to her and she hummed back

'Itna darti kun ho mujhse' I asked her and she looked at me like she has seen a ghost
'Aap mujhe har waqt daatein hain' she replied
Her eyes were on my shoes
'Tou mai tumhare bhalle ke liye daanta hoon' I said to her folding my legs
'Bhaijaan mai aapki hi cousin hoon sagi na sahi cousin tou hoon na Maine dekha ha aa-aap manal baji ko kese treat kar-karte hain' she said stuttering in between
'Tou woh tumse bari ha' I told her
But I didn't feel good when she said she isn't my blood
'Bh-bhaijaan Sirf aik saal bari hain woh aur unke grades bhi mujhse gande aate hai woh bhi larkon ke saath ghoomti hain woh bhi late Soti hain woh bhi kaam incomplete chhorti hain tou unke bhalle ke liye kun nhi bolte' she said but this time she was looking in my eyes

It was the first time she had spoken to me while looking in my eyes
I felt a shiver run down my body
I took a deep breath
'Acha jao tum mai ata hoon' I told her and she lowered her gaze nodding

SAMIYA POV
I told bhaijaan the truth and he didn't have an answer

Pata nhi apne aap ki Kia samjhte hain
Inhe tou aapi hi theek karegi
I went towards aapis room and the opened the door it was locked
I knocked

MEHRUL POV
I was waiting for samiya to come back with saad
Class leni paregi iski mujhe
I heard a knock and I stood up to open it
Sameer was standing there
'Uth gai aap' he said to me coming in
'Hmmm g bilkul ab aapko meri khatir daari karne ki zarurat nhi I'm fit and fine' I told him and he came towards me
He came close
Very close
His mouth was near my ear
'Mai aapki khatir daari karne ke liye tou har waqt hazir hoon' he whispered taking a hold of my waist
He pulled me towards him
His chest was colliding with mine

He kissed my eyes
'Never cry' he said and a huge smile erupted on my face
He placed his lips on my forehead
It felt nice
It felt safe in his arms
His lips lingering on my forehead

He took them off and looked at me
I couldn't meet his eyes and a blush erupted on my face
I adverted my gaze
He cupped my face
'Jana look at me' he said and I obeyed
'Can I kiss you?' He asked and I smiled
He took that as an answer
He was about to smash his lips on mine
When
*knock* someone knocked

He didn't even try to react
'Koi romance nhi karne deta' he whined stomping his foot and I laughed

'Mehrul darwaza kholo' I heard saad yell and I moved towards the door
While sameer went and sat on the sofa folding his arms
I opened the door
Saad was standing there with samiya behind him
She pushed saad and came behind me
Than saad saw sameer

SAAD POV
'dekha samiya kaha tha na bhai idher honge tabhi darwaza nhi khul rha tha' i smirked and mehrul glared at me
'Tou Kia keh rhi the tum meri guriya ko' she asked me
She was glaring at me
'Kia Kuch bhi tou nhi kaha mene,Samiya ab Kia chugal lgai ha meri' I asked looking at samiya
'Oye aankhein idhar rakh' Mehrul scolded me and my eyes directly went to mehrul
'Kun mana kar rhe ho isse dost banane se' she asked me
Ohhhhh woh larke ki baat kar rhi ha

'Mene kaha mana Kia mene tou Bas bola ke uss larke se dosti toro' i said proudly thinking I didn't do anything
'Aur Kun tore mai waja jaan sakti hoon' Mehrul asked me very seriously and I could see sameer laughing and samiya holding her laugh
'Because...because I just don't like her roaming with boys' I said
'But I am pretty sure all the girls in muntaz manzil have been friends with boys and All the boys have been friends with girls wese bhi I trust my guriya' she said
I literally had no words
'I trust her aswell but the boys in this world are not good she is too innocent for all this' I said anything that came in my mind
'Are you indirectly saying she's dumb' she asked me

Beta tu tou Gaya
My mind said to me
'Ok I won't tell her anymore' I said accepting defeat because I know I can't win
'Good boy' Mehrul said with a smile and ruffled my hair and bhai went out
I left the room glaring at samiya
Well mehrul was right who am I to say anything to her

SAMIYA POV
Yayyyyyy
He got busted
Got aapi is good I need to take classes from her
She confuses people so much that they accept their defeat

Aapi scolded bhaijaan 2 days ago
Even though his attitude hasn't changed with me but he didn't told me to change my friends again
Right now zayan bhai was dropping me off at school
'Bye bhai' I said getting out of the car waving at him and he waved back

I went inside the class and the view that I saw
Saleem the school bully was clenching faiz's collar and his friend were standing behind him with huge smiles on their faces
Ayan was standing a little far away with sweat on her face
She wasn't strong or confident enough to help her brother

I went towards him
I took my bag swinging in his face
And his hands left faiz
'YOU IDIOT' he yelled
He came towards me with anger

MEHRUL POV
I was getting ready for university when I got a call and trust me no one calls me
It was from samiyas school
Oh god what happened to her

I picked up the phone immediately
'Assalamulaikum...yes I am...oh is she ok...ok ok I will there' I said hung up
Shit
I bolted out of the room and ran downstairs
All the guys except zayan was sitting on the table
I ran out wearing my shoes

'You aren't late relax' Bhai said to me
'I am going to samiyas school' I said and ran out

I reached her schools and was sitting in the principals room with samiya behind me
she had a little bruise on her cheek bone
'Honeatly ms.Ahmed I am not angry on her because that student deserved it and I am proudly that he was humiliated by a girl in front of all of his friends and I know she just helped her friends but I still needed to call you or else it will be troublesome for our school'  the principal said and I was quite impressed
I looked Samiya and she lowered her head waiting for a scolding
'Can I meet this student' I asked politely and he nodded

He led me to a room and the guy was sitting there with his leg on the table and his mom was facing him
She turned around and
'Assalamulaikum aunty aap?' I asked
'Mehrul aapi aap?' Saleem asked
'G mai' I told him
'Kesi ho beta itne time se ghar bhi nhi aai' aunty asked me
'Alhumdullilah aunty Bas mai aane wali thi tou ye iman ka bhai ha' I asked looking looking at Saleem
'G aur waapis isne koi kaand Kia ha aur samiya aapki kon ha?' Aunty said glaring at Saleem who lowered his gaze

He had a swollen eye and blood stain under his nose
'Aunty woh mene btaya tha na meri abbu ke dost ki ka inteqaal hogai tha unki aik beti ha usse hum adopt karenge' I told her politely with a smile
'Ohhh Han mashaallah kitni pyaari ha' aunty said placing a hand on samiyas head
Samiya smiled back
'Beta mujhe jo isne Bataya woh tou mujhe sach nhi lag rha ab aap hi btao Kia hua tha' aunty asked samiya
I looked at Saleem and hsi jaw was touching the ground listening to him mother
'Mama chorein' he said nervously
'Shhhh' aunty said to him and glared at him than looked at samiya
'Aunty I went in the class and he was holding faiz's collar so I hit him with my bag and he came and clenched my collar so I hit my knee in his manhood and he stumbled fell back while I corrected my uniform phir uske baad he stood up and tried to punch me lekin faiz ne iska haath pakar lia and I stomped on his foot phir warden aagaya aur mujhe office le aya' samiya told the scenario while aunty threw glares at Saleem

'Aur kun mara tha Aapke faiz ko' I asked Saleem
'Aapi woh...' Saleem was short of words
'Isne ayan ko bola mujhe date karo ayan said no tou he tried it force her magr faiz came in between to help his sister' samiya said
'Ghar chal mai btati hoon' aunty told him in a stern voice
'Chalein aunty chhorein wese hi bohat maar par gai ha bichare ko chhordein khair ha laraiyan tou hongi na bachon mai' i soothed aunty trying to control her anger
I went towards Saleem
'Isko tou mai' aunty said coming towards Saleem
'Aapi' he said holding my hand tightly
'Chalein na aunty chhorein' I said and she nodded
'Phir mai chalti hoon Aungi thore dino mai...allahafiz' I smiled and left with samiya

I sat in the car and glared at her
'Sorry aapi' she said with her gaze lowered and I smiled
I ruffled her hair
'Koi baat nhi' I said
We had icecream and went home

'Aagae tum log Arey Samiya ye Kia hua' mama came running towards her and touched her wound
She winced
'Mama abhi thora dard ha baat mai haath lagaye ga' she said and I laughed
'Kia hua bola tha mene torr do uss larke se dosti magr meri koi sunta hi nhi ha zarur ussi ne kuch Kia hoga' saad said coming towards samiya and examining her wound closely
God this guy and his possessiveness
'Bhaijaan theek hoon mai' samiya said moving away from him
'Kia theek ha dekho tou itni zor se laga ha' he said holding her hand
'Aao bandage laga doon' he pulled her
Everybody smiled at his care for her
They came back and Sammy sat beside me
I told them the whole story
'Wah Sammy tu tou bheem 2.0 nikli' mahd said and everybody bursted into laughter

I went in my room and samiya came behind me
I laid down
Got the day hasn't even started and I'm tired
And sleep engulfed me
