Third P.O.V

Branwen Tribe Camp.

The member of Salem's inner circle has arrived consists of Cinder Fall, Arthur Watts, Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black. They have demanded the meeting with bandit leader, Raven Branwen.

They have learned that Raven is harboring the Spring Maiden. They wanted the power of the Maiden to open the vault at the Haven Academy to get their hands on the Relic of Knowledge.

Thus, The negotiation between both parties have begun.

Raven: "I dont recall inviting so many guests at our home. Either I'm losing my memory, or you've all lost your spines !"

Raven rasing her voice.

Cinder: "Don't be too upset with them, your men simply recognize the power of the Maiden when they see it. Which is why we like to have a word with you."

Cinder eyes glows and trails fire.

Watt: "I like to ask, what in the bloody thing is going on here ? So many blood... Ugh, my shoes..."

Arthur Watts gazes on the surrounding. The place appears covered with bloods. He felt disgusting as he steps on one of the..... Internal organs.

Watt: "Did I just steps on bloody intestines !?"

Mercury: "I've been in a stinks places before, but never this worse. What the hell is going on here !?"

Emerald appears to almost vomited as she saw bones and other organs scattered around the area.

Emerald: "I really need to get the hell out of here, and get a fresh air after this."

Mercury: "I'm with you on this one."

Cinder looks around, there is indeed an event occuring here in the middle of nowhere. Then she looks at Raven.

Cinder: "Seems you were having a problem. Even with Maiden, I supposed bandits like you can't even handle a number of Grimms."

She smirked at the bandit leader. Raven gritted her teeth as she recall her tribe's almost wiped out by a single person....

No, a monster hiding in a human suit.

Raven: "No, this isn't a Grimm attack. It was a man who attacked us."

Cinder: "A man who attacked you, did all of this mess ?"

Cinder's eyebrows raised.

Cinder: "I don't recall maiden ever being that weak, Raven. I wonder, who exactly cause this little group this mess in the first place ?"

She smirked at her.

Raven: "The only information I've got is that he attended Beacon before."

Cinder: "Interesting...."

Cinder pondering about the new information she received.

Raven: "Packed up your things, then break down the tents. We're leaving !"

She addressing the bandits, which they complied and moves as ordered.

Watt: "Little late to run and hide. You've been on the master's list for some time. So you must understand that we cannot allow you to slip away."

Raven: "I know all about your master. But I don't believed we met."

Mercury: "we're the guys you should be afraid of."

Raven: "I doubt anyone should be afraid of you."

Mercury: "Oh yeah ? Tell that to-

Cinder: "Quiet !"

Mercury relent even though he want to beat her up, unknowingly that Raven herself is a real maiden. Vernal is simply a decoy.

Raven: "That's what I thought."

Cinder: "I'm Cinder Fall. This is my associates, Arthur Watts, and my disciples, Emerald and Mercury."

Raven: "Two children you've tricked into following you, a disgraced Atlesian scientist, and a Fall Maiden with surname so appropriate, she probably picked herself. Something tells me you've got more than a slight case of egomania, is that about right ?"

Emerald and Mercury look at each other shortly while Watts clears his throat.

Watts: Technically, I was also a doctor. But I must say, the rest was spot on."

Cinder: "Aren't you perceptive."

Raven: "It's what kept me alive."

Cinder: I'm afraid the only reason you've still alive is because you have something our master wants. Of course, if I'm wrong..."

Cinder activates her maiden power, she holds out a small flame on her right side of the hand, while grinning at the tribe leader.

Raven: "Vernal !"

Vernal walked out of the tent, moving next to her side.

Cinder: "So this is the long lost Spring Maiden, prove it."

Raven and Vernal share a glance with each other, with Raven nodding. Vernal sighed before closing her eyes. She was making a pose, like she want to conjured the Maiden's power. With Raven's power, the wind blows and grew stronger gradually. The blue sky was blocked by the clouds.

All of this make Watts, Emerald and Mercury to cover their face amidst stronger wind and thunder begins to be heard. Cinder is smiling in amazement as she watches the Maiden's power. She wanted to absorb it, without knowing that Vernal is a decoy.

Speaking of Vernal, she is done with the act. Lowering her hands and opens her eyes as the power returns to normal.

Raven: "Vernal has done well under my guidance. I'd take that into consideration before you try anything else."

Watts and Mercury brushes themselves off while Cinder speaks.

Cinder: "Raven, I won't underestimate you, so please don't insult my intelligence. There is a slim chance that you and your Maiden could escape today. But, if you know our master as you claim to. Then you know you could never truly escaped her. But we come bearing an olive branch."

Watts: "The Maiden's are merely means to an end. Salem's true goals are the relics locked inside the Huntsman Academies. Come with us, allow Vernal here unlock the Relic of Knowledge, and al precious acts of defiance against Salem will be forgiven."

Watts said it to Raven.

Watts: "It's the best deal either of you going to get."

Watt whispered to Raven's face. He walks away rejoining his group.

Raven: "You talked as if walking straight into Haven was easy."

Cinder: "That's because it will be. Headmaster Lionheart is loyal to Salem. And now, all we need is the key to the vault. You're not the only one who turned your back against Oz, Raven."

Raven gripped her tilt of her sword.

Raven: "I'm not helping Salem, I'm not helping Oz. I don't want any part of this !"

Cinder: "That ship sailed when you choose to harbor a Maiden. But if you come with us, we'll leave you, your tribe, and your little secret to lives out the rest of your lives squabbling in the wilderness. We just..... Need.... The Relic."

Raven: "I need time to think over this."

Watts: "You don't have time. In two days, the Haven Academy will be destroyed by the White Fang. You're going to choose now."

Raven: "Backed me into the corner, huh ?"

Cinder: "So, are you with us or against us ?"

A tense situation where the bandit leader is forced to make her choice. Either she cooperate with Cinder, or she will be chase down by the grimmified witch as long as she and her family existed.

Raven: "Agreement like these are built on trust, and forgive me for saying this, but I don't trust a single one of you. You're going to need to give me more."

Watts: "You're in a poor position to negotiate."

Raven: "I want my brother dead."

Her sudden words caught them by surprise.

Cinder: "Qrow."

Raven: "That's right. He knows I have Spring, and if I help you get the relic, he's going to become a problem. I had enough problems to deal with. Qrow doesn't trust me, but he does trust other Ozpin's lieutenants. If Leo really is loyal to you, then, you can order him to invite Qrow into an ambush. He arrives at Haven, you get your Relic, we are all leave happy."

Cinder: "Now this is a proposition I can get behind."

Watts:" Alright ladies, let's pause for a moment. We have one objective, retrieving the Relic of Knowledge. Now Qrow Branwen may be on our list of individuals we would very much like dead, but he is not going down without a fight, he is not going to fight quietly. Our advantage here is just as you said, we walk straight to Haven, no resistance, no one the wiser. The battle with your brother throws that all out of window."

Raven: "He's good. But not that good. All of us against him, it'll be over ina heartbeat."

Emerald: "But it's not just him, he has the students with him, he has Ruby !"

Cinder: "He certainly does."

Watts: "If we leave that school a bloody mess, we will draw attention to the authorities ! The Kingdom will be on high alert, the White Fang's attack will be ruined !"

Cinder: "Then we wait. We will wait until the full moon. Leo invites Qrow and his little fighters to Haven the same night. Hazel and Adam arrive with the White Fang. As soon as the battle is won, the White Fang demolished Haven, and any evidence we may have left behind is lost along with the school."

Raven: "Then, Salem leave my people alone, for good."

Cinder: "You have yourself a deal."

Cinder wanted to shake hands with Raven, but Arthur Watts hold her hand.

Watts: "Wait, don't think I don't see what you've after. If this fails to pieces over your grudge with a child, I will not be taking the blame."

Cinder glares at him.

Cinder: "Then, what are you worried about ?"

She heating up her arm with Maiden's power, forcing the scientist to let go and hold his hand in pain.

Cinder: "Fly back home and tinker with your machine, and tell Salem she'll get what she wants, and more."

Cinder hold her hand to shake with Raven. Raven responded by shaking her hands as well. Both parties are in agreement.

Unbeknownst to Cinder's party, Raven has no intention to letting them get their hands on the Relic. She want to utilize the chaos inside the academy to steal the relic away and flee with her tribe regardless of the fact that she and her tribe will be hunted down by Salem's faction.

My P.O.V

Moon

Za'im: "How cute...."

I watched these lowlifes making deals and prepared to stab each other in the back. Cinder wanted the Relic and the Maiden's power, Raven want to steal the relic and run away with her tribe.

As for me, I will extract both of their Maiden's power and taking the relic that had been disturbing my good night sleep.

It does not matter who I will be facing, all of them walks the Remnant are no longer within my league when it comes to power, except those self proclaimed brother Gods. I may be able to hold my own against them, eventually I will be defeated by those two. Their raw powers are extremely strong against mine.

Anyway, it appears that Ruby and her gang will be meeting the cowardly headmaster, Leonardo Lionheart this night, well, Remnant night to be exact. Ironic considering the name Lionheart is for someone to be courageous.

Lionheart summoned them at night for an ambush. Raven will brought Cinder's group and Vernal into the academy. Hazel Rainart will locked the entrance, preventing anyone enter or leave the place.

Faunus from the Menagerie will come, led by the Belladonna family to stop the White Fang from blowing up the Haven Academy.

I am not exactly care about whether the academy destroyed or not. But there are two things that I want, the annoying relic and the Maiden's power.

When Raven, Cinder and Vernal enter the elevator to the vault of Spring Maiden, that is when I will descend from the Moon to the Haven Academy. The place will be perfect to remove the power of the Maiden during their Maiden's cat fight. Of course, Vernal has to be dead first.

Third P.O.V

The night have fallen, the moon replacing the sun. The moonlight illuminating the Remnant. The group of huntsman led by Qrow made their way to the academy despite suspicions toward the headmaster.

They had no idea how right their suspicions are.

Entering the building, they were greeted by the headmaster himself, with nervous disposition, standing on the terrace. Down the terrace, there is a statue of a woman in chains. It is also the only way to the vault of Spring Maiden.

Lionheart: "Why hello, thank you for... Coming. There..... seems to be more of you than last time."

Lionheart said it and chuckles nervously, knowing he is setting them up in ambush.

Qrow: "Eh, you know what they say, the more the merrier. So what's going on with the council ?"

Lionheart: "Why..... Did you bring your weapons ?"

Qrow: "What ? Leo, we're huntsman. You okay ?"

Lionheart: "Of course ! Of course, sorry. Just haven't had my evening coffee."

Qrow: "Look, it's nice to see you. But we got work to do. Are we getting support from the council or not ?"

Two of them continue to talk as Yang Xiao Long saw the black bird come to rest on the balcony railing. She recognize the bird immediately.

Yang: "Mom ?"

Everyone's attention turned to the Raven. Qrow immediately shot the bird, but it managed to get away and flies behind Lionheart. The bird passed and like magic, Raven appears from behind, wearing her Grimm mask.

Nora: "They.... Really are magic...."

Raven taking her mask off.

Raven: "If you're going to shoot me, shoot me. That was insulting."

Qrow: "What are you doing here !?"

Raven walking down the stairs.

Raven: "I could ask the same thing, you've been scheming, little brother. Planning to attack your own sister."

Qrow: "Leo.... What have you done !?"

Lionheart: "I...."

Raven: "Leo did any sane person would in his position. He looked at all the information he had in front of him, assessed the situation, and made a choice. It seems all you have too."

Qrow: "You have the Spring Maiden."

Qrow said it to her in anger.

Raven: "I do."

Qrow: "Then hand her over and let's work together ! We can beat Salem !"

Raven: "All that time spent spying for Ozpin and you still have no idea what you're dealing with. There is no beating Salem !"

Ruby: "You're wrong."

Ruby interject the quarrel between the Branwen twin.

Ruby: "We've done things that most people would call impossible, and I know because the only reasons we were able to do it because we didn't do it alone ! We had people to teach us, people to help us, we had each other. Work with us, at least we'll have a better chance if we try together. Please...."

Ruby extend her hand to Raven. Raven just glare at her.

Raven: "You sound just like your mother."

Raven said it scornfully at her.

The bandit leader slashed the air with her sword, red portal was opened. A fireball coming out of the portal and hit Ruby, landing several feet away.

Cinder: "Hello boys and girls."

She was joined by her companion, Vernal, Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black.

Ruby is glaring at her.

Ruby: "Cinder...."

Cinder and her group lined up with Raven while Ruby's group gasp.

Mercury: "Come on, guys. Is that a way to greet an old friends ?"

Yang growls at him.

Qrow: "Everybody stay calm."

All of the sudden, they hear the sound of door open behind them.

Oscar: "Oh no...."

Hazel Rainart is seen closing the entrance door into the building, preventing anyone from entering or leaving.

Hazel: "The White Fang is prepping the demolition and securing the school ground. No one is getting in, no one is getting out."

Outside of Haven Academy.

The White Fang member are setting up a bomb around the CCT tower. They are ready to reduce the building to rubble, killing anyone inside and cutting off communication from the outside world.

Adam: "Once the charges are set, move back to perimeter watch. Tonight, Haven falls."

Adam said with an evil smile. He was sure that the bomb should be enough the destroy the building.

Inside of Haven Academy.

Everyone watches as Hazel approaching them slowly. They turn their attention back to Cinder.

Weiss: "This was all just a trap ?"

Ren: "It appear so."

Qrow: "Raven, tell me.... How long have you been with them !?"

Cinder: "Aww..... Don't take it personally, little bird. Your sister was a recent addition. The lion on the other hand..... Entrance to the Vytal Festival was a real treat. Leonardo's been sending all sort of information to Salem for a very, very long time. Isn't that right, professor ?"

Lionheart ashamed of his own betrayal.

Lionheart: "Stop it....."

Qrow: "It was you.... You sit on the Mistral Council. You had information on every Huntsman and Huntress in the Kingdom, and you gave it to her..."

Lionheart: "I-...."

Qrow: "I couldn't find any of them. You let her kill them !"

Lionheart have no word to speak, sad expression formed on his face.

Cinder: "Awww now, don't beat yourself about it, Lionheart. I'm sure Tyrian and hazel would have found them on their own, eventually."

Jaune: "What is wrong with you !?"

Jaune was seething, he could not believe someone like her murdering people and rub it on their face.

Jaune: "How can you be so broken inside.... To take so many lives and the come her and rub it on our face like it's something to be proud off !"

Everyone turned their attention to Jaune.

Nora: "Jaune..."

Jaune: "All with that damn smile of your face !"

The rest of the people preparing their weapons to battle.

Qrow: "Everybody stay calm !"

Cinder glare at him.

Jaune: "I'm gonna make you pay for what you did ! Did you hear me !?"

Qrow: "Kid !"

Jaune: "Well !? SAY SOMETHING !"

After a moment of silence, Cinder responds.

Cinder: "Who are you again ?"

Jaune, with look of shock and anger, transformed his weapons and charged at the Fall Maiden.

My P.O.V

So the battle begin with the dumb blond launching an attack. Followed by the rest of them shooting and charging among each other.

The White Fang already carry out their plan to destroy Haven Academy, led by that bull faunus that having issues after Blake run away from the organization.

That guy acted like her bitter ex boyfriend later in RWBY episodes. Perhaps they do have romantic relationship for some time before Blake decided to desert the White Fang on a train. It does not exactly show it in the RWBY anime.

Crazy ex boyfriend bull faunus and melodramatic L.A.R.P.E.R cat faunus. This could be enough to make a drama out of this two idiot terrorists.

Cancelling my psychic vision, I get up from my comfortable bed and strolling to the window, overlooking the Remnant.

Za'im: "How beautiful...."

The rocks that covered by clouds, water and land. It just like Earth, my homeworld. The only difference is a different continent and the existence of Grimm, a creature lack of soul.

Za'im: "Let's go."

The Relic of Knowledge awaits.
