Finishing the classes, I teleport back to my room to get some rest. Ruby Rose right now at Beacon Tower for identifying the masked culprit who infiltrated the CCT tower which is unfortunate for the Ozpin's group as she could not clearly see who exactly she is.

The only thing they get from her was the culprit wearing a embedded clothes with dust and a hideout from southeast outside the Kingdom. James Ironwood used this information to send his soldier the location for the investigation and destroy anything that get in the way, much to Glynda's chagrin.

There is a dog barking next to my room. It is Zwei, Ruby and Yang's dog. Taiyang sending him here due to him running an errands. Is this school even allowed pets here ?

Glynda: "Would all the student please report to the Amphitheatre."

Perhaps I should pondered the topic for another time then. This will be my first assignment either alone or with a huntsman. I am looking forward to it as I shadowing one of the huntsman.

If I have to camp somewhere outdoor, I already have a mattress and pillow, I do not need to buy anything else as both of those things are already congenial for me.

I teleported to the Amphitheatre where all the students from the Huntsman Academies around Remnants will gathered here after the announcemen from Glynda.

I lean on the back of the wall near the entrance while waiting for the students to come here. After all, I just teleported here and not a single shadow of a person around other than me.

Soon, the students started to arrived here. I noticed the Vacuo students are not in any uniforms like the other students in Huntsman Academies. Perhaps the Headmaster Theodore is a lenient man to allow such thing to them. I love that part about them.

After the student's arrival, I saw team RWBY and JNPR arrived here later than most. They all brought their bags for their first assignment as any other first year students. I am curious who am I ended up with. But in the meantime, I just listen to Ozpin has to say.

Glynda: "Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we began."

Some of you may be taken out of the kingdom for several days, others may work within the walls for several weeks. This so called great war is not enough to be called 'great' for me. The King of Vale, Ozpin's past life had magic and the four relics from the Light to help him overpowering both Mantle and Mistral combined might.

If it were not for Ozma's magic and the four relics, Mantle and Mistral would have won the war given their advancement of Mantle's technology and technical assistance given to Mistral. Art would have been abolished and slavery will continue to this day.

Giving those relics to each Kingdom is a fools move by Ozma. He should have kept to himself about the relics and made Kingdom of Vale as the major superpower among others.

He just have to involve the whole humanity on fighting a secret war with Salem, his ex wife. As for me, it is just a longest divorce fight in a history.

I look around and the students began getting their assignment from the hologram screen. Some of them took longer as I saw them discussing among themselves which to take.

I walked toward the hologram screens to look at which mission is considered to be easy. Search and destroy would have been easiest for me and all I need to do is to clear the Grimm on that area and wait for the further instructions from the huntsman.

Team RWBY also headed to the same hologram screen. Ruby, with her warm and welcoming personality came to me with her smile.

Ruby: "Hi, Za'im !"

Za'im: "Miss Rose, getting exciting aren't you ?"

Ruby: "Yep ! We're gonna have our first mission !"

Za'im: "Indeed you are."

I smiled at Yang and Blake. Except Weiss, even if she is a doll in a beauty level, she just a pretty face to me. The moment I see her, my pleasant mood flushed into the toilet.

Weiss: "Why are you making a face like that to me ?"

Za'im: "You're the last person I wanted to see right now."

Weiss: "Really, and how's that ?"

Za'im: "You really don't see yourself on the mirror aren't you ? Set aside that appearance of yours, you are just an annoying rich brat."

Weiss: "I'm not a brat !"

Weiss looks at me with an anger on her face, gritting her teeth.

Za'im: "You are acting like one right now."

Both Weiss and me glared each other with intensity. Her blue eyes meeting my brown eyes, glowing red on the iris part. I sensed her anger mixed with unnerving feelings when she saw my glowing red eyes.

Before the situation turned for the worse, Ruby getting herself between our glaring contest and separates us, saving the day in a process.

Ruby: "Let's just get our missions first. Urm.... Good luck, Za'im"

She just pulling Weiss away from me. Good, that irritable heir of the SDC really getting on my nerves.

Weiss: "Ruby ! What are you doing ? I'm not done with that dolt !"

While watching her getting dragged away by Ruby, I cannot help but heard Yang whispered to Blake about me. I pretended not to hear it.

Blake: "You saw that did you ?"

Yang: "Yeah, his eyes like shining bright red. It's like my semblance too."

Blake: "You did realize that Za'im doesn't have an aura and semblances, right ?"

Yang: "Oh right, how can I forgot ? Haha, but how can his eyes glowing like that though ?"

Blake: "I..... don't know."

I faced both of them talking about me. Their eyes widened and acted like nothing happened with a nervous chuckle. I smile at them in amusement.

Za'im: "Your team can take the mission first."

Yang: "W-well, alright ! Come on, Blake."

Blake soon followed Yang to her sister and apply for the mission.

Ruby type her team name to apply for the mission at quadrant 5, which in the Southeast and specifically, Mountain Glenn. As soon as she done entering her team name, the hologram screen stated that mission is unavailable for the first year student.

Weiss: "Wonderful."

Blake: "So, any other ideas ?"

Ruby: "We mailed ourselves there."

Right, no matter what. She wanted to investigate that ginger haired criminal. Always wanted to be a hero from the fantasy story she read from the book or told by her sister.

Ozpin: "Well, that's one option."

This guy just come here, probably wanted to see Ruby off for her first assignments. After all, she is a silver eyed warriors that has been hunted down to almost extinction by Salem's cohorts. Ozpin valued such warriors as the can petrify the creature of Grimm with the eyes power.

Ozpin: "Unfortunately, we determined that concentration of Grimm are too extreme for the first year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have a sneaking suspicion that four of you will make your way there no matter which job you choose."

Three of RWBY members looking at Ruby, as she scratching her head looking guilty. Yes, she is going to dragged her team to that region anyway.

Ruby: "Whatever makes you said that ?"

Ozpin: "I'm still as curious to how you all find yourselves at docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you really learned about a 'hideout' in the southeast. I certainly wonder witnesses reported a robots and rose petals in dance club sometime ago.

Ruby: "Uhhh... Ummm uh well"

Ozpin: "I doubt I ever find the exact asnwers I'm looking for. So, instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them ?"

Ozpin type his scrolls intended to assigned that mission to team RWBY.for some reason he glance at me for a second before returning his focus to his scroll.

I think this guy need reign them as the actions of these girls could have cause a lot of people die in the process. They need to follow some protocols if they wanted to investigate someone like Roman Torchwick.

My scroll received a notification. I checked a message and Ozpin just assigned me this mission alongside team RWBY. I am not amused.

Za'im: "Sir."

Ozpin: "Yes ?"

Za'im: "Did you imputed me with this mission aside them ?"

Ozpin smirked at me.

Ozpin: "Indeed I did, is there a problem ?"

Za'im: "Why is that ?"

Ozpin: "I want you to looked after them and provide backup or save them if there anything happens since Ruby and her team somehow manage to involved themselves into the trouble. Anything else ?"

Za'im: "I'm not babysitting these girls."

Ozpin: "Good, I wish you luck then."

Before I want to have another word with him, Ruby just came to me with a grin on her face and a frowning Weiss. Yang and a Blake joined us with a smile.

Ruby: "Wow ! You came with us too ? Nice !"

Weiss: "Why Ozpin letting you joined us for the mission ?"

Great, I have to deal with the Banshee. I do not seem to have a problem with the others.

For some reason I just staring at Yang's breast.

Yang: "Nice having you on our side for the mission. My eyes are up here, you perv~"

I blushed at her remarks.

Weiss: "Wonderful, a pervert in our team."

I smiled at her for giving me such a good "compliment."

Za'im: "Aww, thanks for that. I appreciate it."

Weiss: "It's not a compliment !"

Za'im: "Anyway, I have Ruby the human hug pillow."

Ruby: "Err, what ?"

Za'im: "Weiss the Banshee."

Weiss: "Hey !"

Za'im: "Blake the naughty girl."

Blake has a confused expression on her face.

Blake: "Why are you calling me that ?

Za'im: "You read that Ninj of Love smut aren't you ? I have been wondering the meaning about that 'Katana'. If you know what I mean.... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)."

Blake blushed after hearing my explaination.

Za'im: "Lastly, Yang the sexy wild blonde."

Yang: "Aww, thanks for that."

Weiss: "Why is she getting a good nickname !?"

I decided to ignore her. The more I deal with her, the more headache I got.

Ozpin: "It seems both of you getting along."

Ozpin is still there, appears amused by our little conversation. Ruby took a glance at him.

Ruby: "We won't let you down, sir. Thank you for this."

Ozpin: "Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you so far. But you must understand, the thing that await you beyond the protection of the kingdom will not care. Stay close to your huntsman at all times and do exactly as he said. He will be leading you on this mission and he can have you sent back to Beacon. If he find your skills to be unsatisfactory."

He left but returned for a second.

Ozpin: "Good luck."

We walked out of the Amphitheatre for our first mission.

Yang: "That wasn't exactly uplifting."

Blake: "But it's the truth."

Ruby: "It's going to be tough. But I know we can do this."

Random student: "Hey look, team CFVY is back."

Team CFVY, that is Velvet Scarlatina's team. I am curious if the know about the bullying the velvet has suffered. I reading their mind as found out that they did know as Velvet crying at them for consolation. Even though Coco Adel wanted to take revenge on them, Yatsuhashi advising them not to or the will risked expelled from Beacon.

Velvet did tell them about me and it seems that they are hoping to meet me. But alas they have been occupied with their missions and even if they have time, it was an arduous for them to locate me due to the fact that I am always absent in my room.

Indeed I am unavailable for increasing my power and money and also follow the storyline discreetly. My reputation alone already luring a lot of eyes and ears to me and I cannot have one of Salem's agents knowing my presence.

In fact, I have read Ozpin's mind and discovered that Ozpin would not allow me to participated in a Vytal Tournament. What he thought is a regrettable, for me it is a blessing as I am able to carry on with my growth of capital and power during the tournament.

Soon, I will be strong enough to defy the so called God's and everything in this universe has to offer.

My musings is cut off when Blake speak with the rabbit faunus about their mission. The only thing she tell her is that there were so many Grimm. She telling Blake that she should be fine since first year students only shadowing a huntsmans and huntresses. After that she left with her teammates.

Apparently they do not seem to notice me, for all one knows they could be weary from fighting Grimm based on their expression.

Ruby: "We can do this."

We all looked at Ruby.

Ruby: "We never back down before and we're not going to start now."

Team RWBY has a determination all over their face.

Blake: "Right."

Ruby: "Beside, it won't only be us out there. We'll be fighting alongside a genuine huntsman."

Yang: "Yeah !"

Later

Oobleck: "Why hello girls ! Who's ready to fight for their lives ?"

We meet Professor Oobleck with excitement and caffein oozing all over him. Team RWBY with a dumbfounded expression. I chuckled at this scene.

This is going to be fun.
