(Docks, Vale, morning)(your pov)

You and the rest of the team are walking down a street in Vale with a sign that says welcome to Vale. It's been around 2 months since the field trip to forever fall. You've been training under your powers eclipses guidance and you've become a bit better but she said you've still got a long way to go yet before your even close to a master.

Weiss: “The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!”

Ruby: “I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss… it's kinda weirding me out…”

Vain: “Yes, usually it's just a wall of Ice and sadness.”

Weiss: “Shut up!”

You all laugh at Weiss. Vain had made his personal favorite past time to get on Weiss’s nerves just for fun.

Weiss: “How could you ‘not’ smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament. Oh. The amount of planning and organization that goes into to this event is simply breath taking.”

Vain: “Wow, in one sentence you managed to drain the all excitement from it.”

Weiss: “SILENCE!”

You: “Alright bro, I think she's had enough you.”

Yang: “I can't get enough of him!”

Vain goes red which you find funny.

You: “What wrong Vain, Yang got your tongue.”

Yang: “Oh I always have his tongue, if you know what I mean.” Then Vain falls flat on the ground.

You/Ruby: “Ewwww, gross!”

Blake: “Yang do you always have to be so immature?” She says while you and Ruby are picking up Vain.

Yang: “Yep, So remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?”

Ruby: “Ugh they smell like fish.” She says as she cover her nose.

Weiss: “I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom.”

Blake: “She wants to spy on them so she'll have have the upper hand in the tournament.”

Weiss: “Ah! You can't prove that!”

Eclipse(I/m): “Hey, look down the street something happened.”

You look down the street to see a dust shop closed off by yellow police tape.

Ruby: “Woah.”

You all walk over to the crime scene.

Ruby: “What happened here?”

Detective 1: “Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.” He says as he walks away.

Yang: *Scoughs* “That's terrible.”

Vain: “Ya… it is.”

You look over at Vain, he seems very distracted all of a sudden.

You: “Hey, you alright bro?”

Vain: “Uh? I'm fine…”

Eclipse(I/m): “He doesnt sound fine to me.”

You(I/m): “Ya, I'll ask him tonight about it”

You listen back to what everyone's saying and you see Blake and Weiss agueing.

Weiss: “Misguided?! They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!:

Blake: “So then they’re ‘very’ misguided. Either way, It still doesn't deplane why they would rob a dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale. “

Ruby: “Hmm. Blake's got a point. Besides, the police still didn't catch that Torchwick guy me, Vain and (F) ran into a few months ago… Maybe it was him.”

Weiss: “That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum. Those faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal.”

Yang: “That's not necessarily true.”

Sailor 1: “HEY! Stop that faunus!”

You all run back to the side of the road overlooking the docks to see a monkey faunus on a lamp pole.

Sailor 2: “You no-good stow away!”

Monkey Faunus: “Hey! A “ no-good” stow-away would have been caught. I'm a great stow-away.”

Then you see the detective from earlier with who you assume is his partner throw something at the monkey faunus who dodges it.

Detective 1: “Hey. Get down from there this instant.” Then he gets a banana peel to the face.

The monkey faunus then jumps off the lamps post landing behind the detectives running our way. As he pass you could have sworn that he winked at Blake.

Eclipse(I/m): “Did he just…”

You(I/m): “Yep”

Yang: “Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition and there it goes.”

Weiss: “Quick! We have to observe him!”

You start to run after the faunus running though a few blocks before Weiss turns a corner hitting someone knocking them both down, and you see the faunus get away, Great. Then you look back to see who Weiss hit.

Weiss: “No! He go away!”

Yang:  “Uhhhh, Weiss…?”

Weiss: “Euh!”

You see a ginger girl with freckles beside weiss as she gets up.

????: “Salutations!”

Ruby: “Um… hello.”

Yang: “Are You...okay?”

????: “I'm wonderful. Thank You for asking.”

Vain: “do you… wanna get up?”

????: “Yes.”

Then the girl jumps to her feet and you all take a pace back.

????: “My name is penny. It's a pleasure to meet you.”

Ruby: “Hi penny, I'm Ruby.”

You: “(F), Nice do meet you.”

Eclipse(I/m): “Eclipse, but you can't hear  me.”

Weiss: “I'm Weiss.”

Blake: “Blake.”

Vain: “Vain, how ya doing.”

Yang: “Are you sure you didn't hit your head?” As she says this Vain and Blake it her. “Oh, I'm Yang.”

Penny: “it's a pleasure to meet you!”

Weiss: “You already said that.”

Penny: “So I did!”

Weiss: “Well, sorry for running into you.”

You: “See you around friend.”

Ruby: “Take care, friend!” As she says this you all walk off.

Eclipse(I/m): “Um… did she not sound, off to you.”

You(I/m): “Ya, Something was different about her.”

Yang: “She was… weird.”

Weiss: “Now. Where did that faunus riffraff run off to.”

Then penny was standing in front of all of you.

Penny: “What did you call me?”

Yang: “Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me.”

Penny: “No, not you… she walks over to me and Ruby. You!”

Ruby/you: “Me?!”

Ruby starts rambling.

Eclipse(I/m): “Oh boy.”

Penny: “You called me “friend”. Am I really your friend?”

Eclipse(I/m): “Oh thank god.”

You/Ruby: “Uhhhhhh.” You both look over at everyone else to see there all shaking their heads. “Ya,Sure. Why not?” And everyone falls over and penny starts laughing.

Penny: “Sen-sational! We can paint our nails, try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!”

Eclipse(I/m): “She does realize that your a guy, right?”

You(I/m): “I honestly don't know anymore.”

Ruby: “Ooh, is this what it was like when you met me?”

Weiss: “No, she seems ‘far’ more coordinated.”

Yang: “Soo, what are you doing in Vale?”

Penny: “I'm here to fight in the tournament.”

Weiss: “Wait… your fighting in the tournament?”

Penny: “In combat ready!” And she gives a salute.

Weiss: “Forgive me, but you hardly look the part.”

Blake: “Says the girl wearing a dress.”

Weiss: “It's a “combat skirt”.”

Then Ruby slides over.

Ruby: “Yeah!” Then she high fives Weiss.

Weiss: “Wait a minute. She goes over and grabs penny's shoulders. If your here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey tailed… rapscallion??”

Penny: “The who?”

Weiss: “The filthy faunus from the boat!”

Eclipse(I/m): “Wow… that was a horrible thing to say.”

You(I/m): “Yeah that was horrendous.”

You pay back attention and you see Blake and Weiss are arguing again.

Blake: “Stop calling him a rapscallion, stop calling him a degenerate. He's a person!”

Weiss: “Oh, I'm sorry. Would you like me to stop referring to the trashcan as trashcan, it this lamppost as a lamppost?”

Blake: “Stop it!”

Weiss: “Stop what? He clearly broke the law. Give him time, he'll probably join up with those other faunus in the White Fang.”

Blake: “You ignorant little brat!” As she says this she storms and Weiss follows.

You(I/m): “This needs to stop.”

Eclipse: “Ya, sooner or later something bads gonna happen.”

Yang: “Uhh, I think we should probably go.”

Penny: “Where are we going?”

Vain: “Nowhere penny.”

Blake: “Solely based on his species makes you just as much if a scoundrel as you believe him to be.”

Weiss: “So you admit it; the White Fang ‘is’ just a radical group of terrorists.”

Blake: “That's not what I meant and you know it.”

(Later Dorm room)(Your pov)

Your lying in bed with Ruby trying to block out Weiss and Blake who have been arguing for hours.

Weiss: “The faunus of the White Fang are pure evil.”

Blake: “There's no such thing as “pure energy”! Why do you think they hate humanity so much? It's because of people like Cardin, people like ‘you’ that force them to take such drastic measures!”

Your starting to get very angry and black patterns are appearing on your hoodie.

Weiss: “People like me??”

Blake: “Your discriminatory!”

Weiss: “I'm a victim!”

You: “ENOUGH!! I'm sick of you to arguing over this for hours on end and it needs to stop now!”

Weiss: *Sigh* “You want to know ‘why’ I despise the White Fang? Why I don't particularly trust the faunus? It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War. As in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a target painted across it's back for as long as I can remember. And ever since I was a child, I've watched family friends disappear, board members executed, an entire train car full of dust… stolen. And every day, my father would come home furious, and that made for a very difficult childhood.” Ruby then goes up to Weiss.

Ruby: “Weiss, I-”

Weiss: “No!” She says turning around to look at Blake. “You want to know why I despise the White Fang?! It's because they're a bunch of Liars! Thieves! And murderers!”

Blake: “Well maybe we were just tired of being push around!”

Everyone goes silent

Eclipse(I/m): “This is what I meant. Something like this was bound to happen.”

Blake: “...I- she blots out of the room.”

Ruby: “Blake! Wait! Come back!”  She starts running for the door to go after her but you warp over to her and trap her by the shoulder.

You: “Its not worth it.”

Ruby: “B-but-”

You: “Its best to have her come back on her own, instead of us trying to force her to.”

Everyone's silent before Vain speaks up.

Vain: “So, what now?”

You: “Sleep. If she's not back by tomorrow we can look for her.”
