After getting ready Ruby and Y/N met up and went to the city. It was uneventful as all what  happened was talking until arriving to the oh so desired bakery of Ruby's choosing. Going inside she went straight to the counter.

Baker: Ruby, my best customer! I take it that you want the usual?

Ruby: Yes, but Y/N has to do his order also.

Y/N merely gave a wave as he went up to the counter himself looking at the goods before him.

Baker: Huh and who might this Y/N be? I have seen you here for many years but you do not bring anyone unless family. Unless...

Ruby: No! It is not like that! Y/N is one of my friends in Beacon.

Y/N: Now would you believe that our first meeting came about from Ruby almost got me with her scythe?

Baker: Yes. (sees Ruby's reaction) Don't look at me like that. You have broken some things running in here.

Ruby: It was an accident and who would puts all the drinks in front of the glass cooler?

Baker: I was restocking my drinks.

Y/N: Note to self never have a wide variety of beverages near Ruby.

Ruby: You too Y/N? Traitor!

Y/N: I believe we came here today as there was a common misconception that you won and to dissuade any further argument I did brought you here. Remember how it came about Ruby?

Ruby looked away hinting the baker to take Y/N's order as it was a loosing battle.

Baker: Oh yeah. What will you be having today?

Y/N: A baguette please.

After Y/N got his bread and Ruby cookies he paid for the goods as per the deal. Sitting on a bench they started eating.

Ruby: Uhhhh....

Y/N: Ruby, you have no need to consider whether or not a question is appropriate. I doubt such a question could come out of you.

Ruby: Right. Why the baguette?

Y/N: Everybody likes bread.

Ruby was content with the answer and began to eat her cookies silently until her eyes were filled with awe as she thought of an idea.

Ruby: Let's, mmph take-

Y/N: Finish as I can't understand.

Ruby: (swallows cookie) Let's take a picture. My family is big on taking pictures.

Y/N: Sure.

Ruby got out her scroll making a wide smile while Y/N tried to do a smile. He was one to not really be good at it but tried it regardless.

Ruby: (looks at photo) First try and it looks good. I'll send it to you.

Y/N: Thanks.

After Ruby finished her cookies she began to help you finish the baguette. They both went to walk aimlessly a bit while talking.

Ruby: So what is your favorite ice-cream?

Y/N: That is a hard choice. If I were to do a
top three it would be in the order of coconut, vanilla, and then banana. Strangely enough I can't have a brain freeze.

Ruby: Lucky!

Y/N stopped as he took a look at the area due to its familiarity. Then it occurred to him.

Y/N: Crap.

Ruby: What?

Y/N: Remember the story? Well I held hope that the establishment would close down. If my assumptions are correct the cameras do have facial recognition and-

Security guard: Halt!

The guards began to surround the two of you while you stood your ground.

Ruby: Y/-

Y/N: Don't worry red I will take care of this so if you will don't talk. (to the guards) Now what is the meaning of this?

Security Guard 2: Does this footage remind you?

The security guard pulled out a scroll shows you running away from the establishment's security guards. That day you punched that one Schnee.

Y/N: Can't say it does. Though would you happen to have the other part? Now if you were to calmly let us go-

Security guard 4: Freeze! (points gun)

Y/N: I have done nothing to provoke you but poor choice of words

At that moment Y/N created two layers of an ice shield around Ruby and him. The guards began firing.

Ruby: They're shooting! Why?!

Y/N: I know. We are kids.

Y/N moves his hands outwards thrusting out the first layer of the shield to stun the guards while the second stayed in case there was the stray bullet.

Y/N: When I let down the second shields you run red.

He then made the second layers of shields hit the already stunned guards. Ruby started to run with Y/N shooting ice at any camera he saw while making the ice disappear ensuring there was less of a trace. Running through a forest for awhile you stopped.

Y/N: I think we lost them.

Ruby: Why did you call me red?

Y/N: Odd question to first ask but I did that as it would be bad if they knew your name. I mean there is no other Ruby Rose with eyes that are silver.

Ruby: I guess but somebody bad would call me little red.

Y/N: We can words new meanings. Besides I only said red and not little red.

Ruby: Yeah but please don't put little. Wait... it's dark (checks scroll) and we missed the bullhead.

Y/N: Looks like we will have to trek our way back.

Ruby: Ahh. Well since you call me red I will call you frost.

Y/N: I can live with that.

Walking for awhile you both realized that you were lost.

Y/N: We are officially lost. (checks pockets) Also it seems like I don't have my scroll. No wonder why my pockets felt lighter.

Ruby: Like you lost it?

Y/N: I'm sure Silver got to it. He may want to use it to offset his losses.

Ruby: Won't it be obvious?

Y/N: Well he is competitive.

While Ruby was inputting Beacon's location on her scroll you heard the distinct sound of a boarbatusk charging.

Ruby: I think we might've went to far in the forest.

Y/N: This is why I didn't want to make use of my semblance in the fight because...

As the boarbatusk was a few feet away Y/N crated a large ice spike underneath it and impales the Grimm.

Y/N: That is why I did not want to use my semblance in the duel and as you can see although versatile is dangerous.

Ruby: Point taken.

Walking forward using Ruby's scroll to go to Beacon she stops due to being tired from all the energy wasted from the duel and she did ate more than she was used to.

Y/N: (stops) Okay this was my fault so hop on.

Ruby: What?

Y/N: You're tired so get on my back for a piggyback.

Ruby: Hmmm.

Ruby was unsure if she should as it was kinda embarrassing. She was not use to that kind of close contact besides from her family.

Ruby: Okay.

Y/N kneeled down and Ruby got on. She was kinda blushing but luckily Y/N was looking forward.

Y/N: Yeah I'm definitely gonna be tired for doing what I'm about to do. Ruby, you tell me where to go.

Ruby: What are you gonna do?

Y/N froze the ground beneath him and began to move forward as the ice constantly pushed him forward.

Y/N: Would of done it earlier but do you want to hear the half truth first or the full?

Ruby: Half?

Y/N: I am limited to doing this in a limited space. Not to mention I have difficulty with turning quickly.

Ruby: Like how I have a hard time with my semblance sometimes.

Y/N: Yes but as for the truth, I forgot.

Ruby: How can you forget?

Y/N: My semblance is versatile meaning it is trial and error. Not to mention that I have to try to perfect it.

After an excruciating few hours you both do finally arrive at Beacon but you feel a dark presence in the air. Somebody angry.

Y/N: Quick act like you are sleeping.

Ruby: Why? What's happening?

Y/N: No time. Just go with it.

Ruby does so and a few moments later you see Glynda Goodwitch.

Glynda: Today is a school night so why are you not in your room (sees Ruby) and why is Ms. Rose on your back?

You think for a moment at how you might as well take the fall. It is your fault.

Y/N: That is an excellent question that I will answer at the moment. You see I was late for the last bullhead due to eating a baguette.

Glynda: A baguette?

Y/N: Yes, and you know how we can't bring food inside.

Glynda: So you are saying it wasn't Ruby's fault or both of yours but rather you?

Y/N: Yes. As for Ruby she was tired as it is a long walk as you might expect and offered to do this to alleviate it.

Glynda: (sighs) Go to your rooms and I do expect you to stay after class tomorrow Y/N.

Y/N: Thank you, I shall be on my way and see you tomorrow. Sorry for the disturbance.

Glynda: Just go before my punishment is more severe.

After walking for awhile Ruby made sure that Glynda was out of sight before talking.

Ruby: How did you know Glynda was near and why did you take the fall?

Y/N: Tanner had this theory that there is a sort of sensor array activated at night. I did not know at all. As for the second question it was my fault.

Ruby: But I was the one who told you to go to the bakery today.

Y/N: And I was the one who got us in that predicament. Ruby, yours was simply the byproduct of continuity. You cannot blame yourself for the actions that was out of your control to begin with. Besides I can handle detention.

Ruby: Hey!

Y/N: Red.

Ruby: Okay maybe it would be hard.

Y/N: Besides my team has been through this before.

Ruby: What did you all do?

Y/N: We had this idea to create a sandwich. You know that sandwich that is topped off with a olive?

Ruby: Yeah.

Y/N: Silver threw the ingredients in the air for Tanner to shoot with an arrow. Things went wrong and it ended with Ozpin's mug shattered on the floor.

Ruby bursts into laughter and you both do arrive as your rooms. Getting off Ruby was about to go in but almost forgot.

Ruby: Thanks and also goodnight.

Y/N: No problem. It was enjoyable. Wait...

Ruby: (realizes also) You don't have your scroll to open your door.

Y/N: Yeah, I don't want to wake them up. I don't know who started it but we did a thing where if you're late by the time two members are asleep you find somewhere to sleep.

Ruby: Why?

Y/N: I don't know but Silver values his sleep. He drops everything to go to sleep unless it is absolutely needed. Well bye I guess and also have a goodnight. (begins to leave)

Ruby: Wait. You can sleep in my room.

Y/N: I don't know. The thought of waking up in the room of females that didn't knew you were there chills me. It won't go well seeing as they don't know.

Ruby: It will be fine. They know you.

Y/N: Yeah but it is creepy. If a scene plays out I will wake you up to explain.

Ruby: Okay.

You both enter with Ruby going into her bed. You wished you saw how Ruby went on that bed as you never saw a ladder. Going on the floor you were about to go to sleep.

Ruby: What are you doing on the floor?

Y/N: There is four beds Ruby. That is all I have to say.

Ruby: Oh. Do you want a pillow at least?

Y/N: That would very much be appreciated.

Ruby: (throws pillow) Goodnight Y/N.

Y/N: Night, night.

With that Y/N went to sleep thinking of the day that will follow.
