A lot of you wanted steamy so... if you've read this far into my story it's been very very mild. Well I'm gonna crank it up for some of y'all so if that's not ur thing I get it. I don't see myself writing out a full sex scene but I'll try to walk that line ;)

Y/N pov:

It had been almost two months since Christmas morning.

I felt like a whole new person since meeting Donnie all those weeks ago.

With school started back, it was a balance to get to see Donnie and his family as often as i did during the Christmas break.

Donnie would come to my dorm almost every day to "help with homework."

Some homework was done but... it was mostly cuddling and watching shows and Donnie pausing it every 15 minutes to explain how the show isn't accurate to real life.

While the title "girlfriend" and "boyfriend" were thrown around, I didn't really like to put a title on us. But... it's what we were.

My last boyfriend was horrible to me. And Donnie had put a lot of work in to make me comfortable again.

While April was very supportive, i didn't tell your family or your other friends. The conversation was so daunting and uncertain. I just wanted to let it happen naturally if it ever did.

Donnie was an amazing "boyfriend." But at this point we were both feeling the exhaustion of balancing our normal lives with our romantic lives.

He would be free and I would have deadline night, or I would be free and he's fighting some animatronic Italian bear-

Valentine's Day was coming up. And I had saved some skips in my classes, and done some research on nearby cabins we could escape to for a long weekend. Just the two of us. I thought this could help us recenter our relationship.

There was a cabin north of the city, in the woods that looked romantic. There was a hot tub and some other neat attributes that made me notice it.

I decided to surprise Donnie with the trip, as his only real responsibility was patrolling the city. And they would be fine for one weekend without him. Surely.

I booked the cabin for the weekend before Valentine's Day, plus the Monday that is Valentine's Day.

I smiled and stood up from my desk in my dorm and stretched.

I should probably tell him now since it'll be Friday in two days.

I open my phone and text him.

Y/N: Hey science man I need to see you tonight. When are you free? 6:06pm

Almost immediately-

Donnie💜💜: Salutations Y/N dear, you've peaked my interest. I'm desiring you as well. I can be available in an hour ;] 6:06pm

Y/N: pff okay Romeo come to my window in an hour. 6:07pm

Donnie💜💜: Anything for you, anytime. 6:08pm

I lean against my bed and toss my phone gently into it. I have a stupid grin on my face and gentle butterflies in my stomach.

How long can the honeymoon phase last? Hopefully with Donnie forever.

There was something about a man being at your disposal 24/7 that made me melt.

Within the hour I put on my warm winter clothes, curl my hair, touch up my makeup, all the things one does for the man she loves. I figure we will go find a bench or something to talk. As fun and exciting it is to be confined in a small space with him I thought it would be more romantic to share the news outside.

I hear a gentle knock on the window and I hop off my bed and see him there.

He smiled politely and pulled his headphones down to his neck. He was wearing the purple hoodie I got him for Christmas. He was emotionally attached to it. He had his bandana on, but he didn't have his goggles, and from the looks of his hoodie, he didn't seem to have his bulky battleshell either. This was pretty common for him though. I think he liked to be with me when he was more vulnerable.

I open the window and before I could move he leaned in and kissed me.

With my arms holding the window open, he slipped his body in front of mine, his arms coming down to hold my waist and pull me close to him.

After a moment he gently moved me backwards and shut the window behind us.

"Greetings my dear. You are radiant as always." He purred, his gentle eyes roaming me.

I move back into a hug. "I feel like I haven't seen you in ages!"

Donnie chuckles and hugs me back, burying his head in my hair. "I also felt the distance between us was too great. I'm delighted to have you in my arms again Y/N."

I lean back and kiss his cheek. "Do you know why I asked you to come here?"

Donnie's face lights up in a blush. "I- ahem. I have a theory."

I roll my eyes but the idea makes my heart pound. "I have a surprise for you."

A look of confusion flashes across Donnie's face but the anxious look returns. "What then, is this when you reveal some type of fancy lingerie and I'm going to be dumbfounded by your beauty?"

I laugh and push him playfully. "Omigosh where did you get that idea? You're on the internet too much."

Donnie scoffs and crosses his arms. "Now now Y/N observing tik toks is considered research by subjective standards."

I roll my eyes and move over to grab my phone to show him the tickets. "Your long sentences don't scare me."

Donnie leans his head to the side. "I would never intend to frighten you with my extensive vocabulary my dear."

I hop on my bed and pat next to me for him to join me.

He does.

I sit up and look at him. "Okay are you ready for the surprise?"

Donnie's blush returns. "W-well I suppose so." He anxiously fidgets.

I pull my phone out and hand it to him, the website pulled up with our Airbnb information.

"Boom!" I grin.

Donnie holds it up and I watch his expression change. A kiddish grin splits his face.

"You got us a cabin to retreat to? Y/N, you're brilliant!" He gushes, pulling me in to kiss my head.

"I would be absolutely thrilled to spend a week with you- alone- in a cabin in the woods for the weekend."

I laugh and get my phone back. "Yeah and it has a cool hot tub and all this space and it has internet too!"

Donnie dramatically waves his arms. "Oooh yes just what I need for a cabin retreat!"

I know he's not joking.

"Do you think it'll work with leaving your family for a weekend? I mean have you ever done something like that before?" I ask him, moving more into his lap.

Donnie opens his arms and wraps them around me loosely. "I haven't been apart from my family for that amount of time, no. I think they will operate just fine. I'll make sure to communicate this with them as soon as possible to ensure no complications arise."

"Well we leave really soon so maybe you should go do that now?" I suggest, looking at him.

Donnie huffs and squeezes me. I pretend wheeze and laugh. "I don't wish to leave youuuu."

I squirm in his arms. "I can come with you!"

Donnie puts his chin on my shoulder and speaks into my neck. "I quite enjoy you in bed though."

It's always fun to play wrestle with Dee but sometimes- sometimes it genuinely freaks me out how much stronger he is than me.

And sometimes this brings back unpleasant memories of my last boyfriend, who was very rough.

Meanwhile Donnie is strong as well but he is extremely gentle with me.

"Mm okay I guess I could squeeze you in my schedule. I don't have any fancy lingerie for you science man." I mumble, putting my hands on his around my waist.

I feel Donnie's toothy grin against my neck and he kisses it. "Science man doesn't care."

I can do nothing but squirm in his arms while he pins me to his chest. And I don't like feeling helpless.

"Dee let me gooo~" I playfully whine, but he hums against my neck and I feel his hands lift my shirt slightly to feel my skin.

"If that's what you want." He hums, removing his arms and I turn around to kiss him, sitting in his lap still but facing my body towards him so I have some control too.

"Donnie you're amazing do you know that?" I whisper once our lips separate.

He blinks at me with a spaced look. "Of course I know that."

"Maybe we should continue this at the cabin?" I suggest, grinning.

Donnie lazily smiles and rubs circles on my waist. "If that's what you want."
