Pov: your greg's babysitter

Background:
You have been Greg and Manny's babysitter for quite some time now. You know rodrick from school and occasionally see him when u babysit the younger kids. You also see rodrick a lot at local concerts and he always seems to stare at you.

Y/n pov:

Mrs. Hefley called me on tuesday as i was on my way home from school
"Hey y/n I know this is really last minute but would you be ok with watching Greg and Manny tonight? Me and Mr. Hefley have to run a last minute business meeting for the newspaper" she said.
you replied back happily with, "of course mrs hefley i'll see you tonight"

you weren't to happy to be babysitting as you were going to go to a show tonight but you couldn't let down mrs hefley.

*skip to tonight*
I got a call from Mrs. Hefley letting me know it was time to go to her house, so i grabbed my got in my car and drove over.

The second i got to their house the hefleys were outside eager to go

"Y/n thank you so much for coming on short notice it really is kind of you" Mr. Hefley said

"Yes thank you again y/n this really helps. Also rodrick may be home soon . i let him know you were over here so just expect someone so you don't get startled " Mrs. Hefley said.

I replied with "ok thank you guys it's really no problem"

They left and drove away so i walked in the house to greet Greg and Manny

"Hey y/n Manny's asleep already but i'll just be playing video games" Greg said

"Ok greg i'll just be in the living room if you need anything let me know"

You turned on the tv in the living room to try and pass some time. It was a quiet house considering Manny was asleep and Greg was preoccupied , so you decided to turn off the tv and just go on your phone.

Suddenly you heard a door slam and thought it could be Greg but to your surprise it was Rodrick.

"Oh shit i forgot you were babysitting tonight what's up" Rodrick said

"Oh yea i didn't realize you would come in so loudly, fuck" I said

"Ahaha yea i'm sorry the door got stuck , is Greg and Manny in bed"Rodrick said

"oh yea they both are asleep i think your parents should be home pretty soon i don't know though" i said

"yea they should be , is it ok if i sit here, i'm so tired" he asked

you were honesty confused because it was his house but you obviously agreed

He sat next to you and you both eventually started to talk about the music scene and how you have seen each at shows before.
"Yea you know i've seen you at so many shows and you always mosh so crazy it's so cool" He said

"Haha thanks , i just grew up in the scene you know my parents had me grow up on punk and grunge which eventually grew into indie garage bands"

"Honestly y/n i think your a really cool person and i was wondering if you would want to go to a show with me next friday?" Rodrick asked
Of course you said yes how could you not. Your face was red and you were extremely nervous. The beautiful boy with long brown hair and brown eyes just asked you on a date.  For the rest of the night you and rodrick continued to talk on and on about bands until his parents sadly came home.

That night not only did you walk out with $70 but also Rodricks number and a date next friday. You walked to your car in the cold night air and squealed like a little kid as you finally got asked out by your bad boy crush.
