I've noticed the votes and views have dwindled down considerably. I hope everyone is truly enjoying this book. Please stick with me these next few chapters, I promise that things will begin to become more interesting. I know that updates are going painfully slow, but hopefully within the next few weeks I'll be able to update more than once a week. It's been about a couple of years since I first began this book and I should've finished it a long time ago. I took time off from writing to focus more on my studies and personal life. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm now committed to this book and my writing.

Aurora's POV

I stepped inside the small cabin. The cabin looked like it had been used recently. A layer of dust covered a collection of books that sat on a rickety old book shelf in the corner of the room. In the other corner sat a small bed with a night stand beside of it. In the middle of the room sat a table and a couple of chairs. A fireplace was placed in the middle of the back wall.

Brayden cleared his throat before walking over to a cabinet that hung above the sink.

"Do you want a glass of water?"

I nodded my head and watched as he took down two glasses. He thourghley rinsed them out before filling them with cool clear water. One of the glasses was held towards me to take. I took one of the glasses and gulp down the water.

"Thank you." I said.

After we had both satisfied our thirst, we walked back outside.

"I thought about fixing this old place up and maybe add a few more rooms to it. It would be a great place for me to stay until I bought a place of my own." Brayden sat down on the top step and looked over the valley.

" I think that's a great idea. Could you imagine waking up to this view every morning?" He looked towards me and I could feel my heart leap in excitement.

"I can." I'm not sure whether we were still talking about the valley or not. I licked my lips as they suddenly seem dry. Brayden leaned closer and my eyes fluttered shut.

Brayden's POV

When our lips met, I felt a million butterflies flutter around in my stomach. I don't care if I loose my man-card for saying that; it was true. Our lips moved in sync as my hands tangled themsleves in her long silky hair. I would kill to relive this moment everyday of my life.

I knew what I felt for her wasn't just some silly attraction, but I also knew she wasn't ready for anything more. Aurora's hand were placed on either side of my rapidly beating heart. I reluctantly pulled away, but I pulled her close to me and held her.

I kissed the top of her head. She looked up at me with flushed cheeks.

"Can I ask you something?" She asked.

I nodded my head.

"That day at the rodeo where we met, What were you thinking when you first met me?" She tilted her head curiously before returning to the previous postion.

"It's been a while, but I remember thinking, "Of course I would embrass myself in front of the most beautiful girl in the world." I'm glad we ran into each other though, aren't you?" I brushed through her hair with my fingers.

"Not really." Mischeif seeped into her voice. I knew she was up to something.

"You better take that back." I said.

"Never!" She said as she jumped up and ran away giggling.

I looked at her in amusement before I chased after her. The sun caught in her hair and created a halo. She was a picture of pure innocence. After a few moments of chasing her, she hurriedly mounted her horse.

"First one back is a rotten egg!" she shouted as her and the horse took off out of the valley.

I repeated her movements from eariler and jumped on my buckskin. What she didn't know was that my little mustang here could outrun all of the horses on the ranch. I soon gained on her, but by the time I was pulling ahead we were already at the ranch.
