The scene opens up with the graduation ceremony as many students walk out of the building as the series introduces Shin Takeshi.

Male Student: Man, can't believe we go through that class.

Male Student 2: Well, at least we can focus on new life for us. Ain't that right, Takeshi.

Shin: Yeah. Ain't that right.

Male Student: Anyway, gotta go with my other friends, wanna join?

Shin: Oh, no I got to go somewhere, Rodger.

Rodger: Ah, I see. Anyway, hope you had a good time without us.

Male Student 2: See ya.

Shin: See ya, Rodger & Kent.

Then the three go separate as Shin hops on a motorcycle and rides away. As he rides on, an unknown being is looking through the hidden bush as he hides back as four Combatmen arrive on their bikes.

Shin: What the hell...? I need to get out of this pickle.

Then he speed the bike up as they kept aftering him. As he keeps riding, he sees four more of them from behind.

Shin: *Sigh* Guess it's time for a jump...

Then he made his bike go up in the air and landed as the four combatmen turn around and rides away.

Shin: What are they up to?

He follows them as he sees them leave already. As he wander on about them, he was caught by a net on him.

Shin: What the hell?!

He struggles to get out of this kind as he sees a few Combatmen walking towards him.

Combatmen: Ei! Ei! Ei!

His eyes began to black out as they knocked him out.

Later

The scene opens up in the lab as it shows him slowly waking up and seeing the scientist around him as he was in shackles.

Shin: What is this place? Let me go!

The light underneath flickers as he hears a laugh.

???: Shin Takeshi. Welcome to Shocker!

Shin:  Shocker? Wha it's he talking about?

Narrator: Shin Takeshi heard the word "Shocker." Shocker is an evil organization whose influence stretches to all corners of the world. For some reason, they had brought Shin Takeshi to their secret base in a remote area of Japan. Shocker is a terrifying organization, which plans to alter humans in all the lands and use them as pawns for global domination and control of happiness.

???: We are seeking a worthy man with an IQ and superior athleticism. You have the honor of being chosen.

Shin: No... I'll never join Shocker!

???: Hahahahaha! It's too late to protest, Shin. You are all but a member of Shocker already. It has been one week since you were brought here, unconscious. Shocker scientists have used that time to alter your body. You are a cyborg! Cyborgs will control the fate of this world, and I will control the cyborgs! Once it was done, we will use our female fighter to face those that are in her way and gain Skullheart and we'll use it to amp up our cyborg army. The world will be mine to command!

Shin: Cyborgs? Skullheart?... Hehe... You expect me to believe that?

???: If you refuse to believe, then I will show you!

Then one of the scientists pressed the button volts went through him as he struggle to resist as he stop the machine.

Shocker Scientist: I'm about to channel 50,000 volts through your body.

The two begin to operate on him.

Shocker Scientist: It would fry a normal man to a crisp in an instant. But your cyborg modifications have imbued you with the power of the wind.

Then he nods his head as the machine begins to start as he groans in pain.

Shocker Scientist: Your body will not suffer a single burn. The only reason you feel pain is because I have not completed the alterations to your mind. Once the brain alterations are complete, and you become a slave to your orders... Then, you will be a true cyborg of Shocker!

The machine stops as Shin is exhausted by this.

Shin: I'd rather die than serve you!

Shocker Scientist: That's what they all say, at first. In time, they become grateful to serve Shocker. Begin the alterations to Shin Takeshi's mind.

He nod as he was about to walk to the consol until the machine exploded thus they all shook by this as the alarm set it off.

Shocker Combatmen: Ei! Ei Ei Ei! (The generator's been destroyed!)

Shocker Scientist: Find the one responsible at once!

Then they all run out of the room and left. Shin then began to pull his arms up as it break one of the chains free as he look at this. Then he hears the door open to see a man. He then recognizes him.

Shin: You're... Dr. Hiroshi Midorikawa! I was sure you'd gone missing...

Dr. Midorikawa: Hm. Shocker is behind it all.

The lights went back on.

Dr. Midorikawa: Oh no... we have to escape!

Shin: But how...?

Dr. Midorikawa: There's an exit above us, through the ceiling.

Shin: We can't break through. It's too high!

Dr. Midorikawa: Shin. You snapped those iron chains effortlessly. That's an impossible act for a human... but you are a cyborg. Ironically, Shocker's experiment to imbue your body with the power of wind has charged your body with devastating strength.

Shin: Impossible...

Dr. Midorikawa: You can do it, I promise you.

Shin breaks the chained cuffs out.

Dr. Midorikawa: We have no time to lose. Try it, Shin!

He looks up and looks back at him and nods as he jumps up breaking through the ceiling while Midorikawa holds onto him as they escape. Meanwhile, the Shocker arrives to see he is gone.

Shocker Scientist 2: He's gone!

He notices something on the ceiling.

Shocker Scientist: He escaped out the ceiling!

Meanwhile

The scene shows him riding a motorbike while Hiroshi Midorikawa is on the back. While riding away, they were spied on by Man Spider.

Man Spider: Bring out Shocker Combatmen. They will take care of them while I do my business in the Canopy Kingdom as our search for worthy ones and finding Skullheart.

Then he moves away into a bush.

Meanwhile

The two are now in the warehouse away from Shocker.

Dr. Midorikawa: Ah, do you think I've done the right thing? If anything were to happen to my niece, I...

He just looks down in guilt as Shin speaks up for him.

Shin: Don't worry. You absolutely did the right thing. You're the only one who can testify to the world about Shocker's terrible plan!

Dr. Midorikawa: I know. I know that... But I feel so powerless to fight them...

Shin: I'll be doing everything I can, too. I will fight to liberate all kinds. Doctor... you must have more faith in yourself!

They look on as he nods his head and lets go.

Shin: Before we go, what was your niece look like?

Hiroshi Midorikawa then gets a picture out that shows a girl with a slight figure with blonde and slightly wavy hair that she kept back with a headband.

Dr. Midorikawa: Here... This might help you out. While I had no knowledge of my niece's name ever since my brother wanted to make sure my identity is hidden away from the mafias, this picture he sent to me will make sure when I visit her in person for the first time.

Shin takes a picture from him and looks at it.

Shin: Right... I will. Now we need to get to the Canopy Kingdom in order to maintain the safety of the people and the real smile.

He walks away as Midorikawa looks on. As Shin gets the cup and tries to turn the faucet hard, he tries to turn the faucet again only to break it apart as he looks at it.

Shin: That's right... I have many times the strength of a normal man. And I can't control it, either... *looks back up* The cyborg part of me that's no longer human.

He walks to Dr. Midorikawa and asks him.

Shin: Doctor. Will I... Will I remain a cyborg for the rest of my life?

Hiroshi Midorikawa then tells him the truth.

Dr. Midorikawa: I'm so sorry, Shin... This is all because I chose you to help me...

He just turns away from Shin Takeshi.

Shin: You recommended me to Shocker?

Meanwhile, Shocker Combatmen is walking up to the building with one of them wielding the rifle as the scene goes back to the two.

Dr. Midorikawa: I'm sorry. Forgive me, Shin.

While Shin looks back at the reflection as the two fail to notice them outside getting close to it.

Shin's Thoughts: Someone who didn't know me might think I was an alien from a distant planet. But at least... The doctor and others will understand me.

While Dr. Midorikawa looks down, he notices a gun barrel right behind him as he gets shot through the chest as Shin hears this and saw him get shot in the chest.

Shin: Hiroshi!

He runs up to Hiroshi Midorikawa as he holds him in his arms.

Dr. Midorikawa: Shin Takeshi... Please... protect... my niece...

Hiroshi Midorikawa passes away as SHin sees Shocker Combatmen surrounding him.

Shin: I will.

Shin dons Typhoon to his waist as he throws his right arm at a diagonal to his right then rotates it clockwise until it's diagonal to his left

Shin: Rider... Henshin!

Then he retracts it to his waist and thrusts out his left arm at a diagonal to his right as he then leaps into the air where the wind pressure activates his transformation as it materializes a suit and helmet as he ground slams to the floor as a shock wave knocks the Combatmen away.

KR Ichigou: Hiroshi Midorikawa...

He takes the body as he walks outside and put him on the ground near the entrance of the warehouse.

KR Ichigou: I swear to protect her for good, Dr. Midorikawa.

Then he was faced off against the odds of Shocker Combatmen as one combatmen make a run towards him only for Kamen Rider Ichigou to grab him and throws him away as they charge towards him. He makes a leap in the air and kicks the two from behind as he blocks the punch with his arm around Comatmen's arm and throws him to the ground. Then Ichigou jabs to their side and then leg sweeps Combatmen from behind and then punches him down. He sees 5 more running towards him as he then performs a tornado kick and kicks the last five foot soldiers down. As all Shocker Combatmen are down, he looks on as he walks towards the motorbike he and Hiroshi ride on as he hops on it.

KR Ichigou: Now... I will protect life from having the same fate as him and prevent other victims from becoming Cyborg Shocker. How I was close to becoming one all thanks to him...

He notices a button as he presses it as it transformed as Ridermachine Cyclone.

KR Ichigou: So this is what it becomes during one week of my transformation as a cyborg... Yosh. Ikuze.

Then Shin Takeshi rides away from the site as he rides on.

Narrator: Now, Shin Takeshi, now becoming Kamen Rider Ichigou, must protect not just everyone but his niece as he must prevent Shocker from gaining Skullheart in their possession to advance their work and creation. This is where he was born as Kamen Rider.

Meanwhile

In the Canopy Kingdom, New Meridian, the goons were seen at the alleyway.

Goon 1: Ya ever heard of missing people?

Goon 2: Yeah? So what? What's important was to keep the mafia family safe in good hands. We have been paid shit for this. I mean, what's so important about unimportant people-

Then they hear something.

????: Hehehehehehe...

Goon 2: You hear that?

Goon 1: Yeah, I heard it...

They look at the shadow as it suddenly shoots out a web at them as they are trapped.

Goon 1 & 2: Agh!/What the hell?!

They look on as they see it was revealed to be Man Spider walking towards them with Shocker Combatmen.

Shocker Combatmen: Ei! Ei!

Goon 1: W-w-what the hell?!

Man Spider: You two make a fine cyborg footsoldier for a job. Hehehehehehe.

Goon 2: You had no idea what you're messing with-!

Man Spider: You will know the path of our happiness to remodel mankind and life itself. And you cannot beat Shocker and its army thanks to our Great Leader. They were former Nazi members after WW2 and change their goal of our control of happiness through remodeling. Heheheheh. Hehehehe! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!

Goon 1 & 2: No! NO!/Oh hell no!

The scene changes to point of view of New Meridian city as there was a scream of echo coming through.
