ricky wasn't lying when he said he would stick by nini's side.

during the whole weekend, he acted like her assistant that would do anything what she told him to. and of course, he felt happy doing that.

nini would ask him to carry her around, feed her, help her write her homework, study with her, watch her favorite movies, cuddle until they're both asleep, make her bed, watch the sunset from their window, and basically treat her like a princess.

little did he know she was testing him whether he would really take care of her or not, remembering the deal between her father and him.

all of their friends came over to her place on a saturday afternoon and suggested for a sleepover, but they were too many and they were scared if they interrupt the roberts, so they only stayed until 9pm saturday night.

nini decided to explain what happened with her and they were definitely shocked and furious. they promised to nini they would protect her and now nini felt like she has tons of bodyguards. she doesn't feel irritated, in fact, she's happy. she's happy knowing there are people who care about her aside from her family. both groups even get closer and nini feels like she has known ricky's friends for a long time. she knew from the start that ricky's friends are real good people and she's happy that she's surrounded by positive people.

they promised to protect nini at school, which is why all of them have prepared themselves to watch nini wherever she goes to make sure she's safe.

and, of course, nini didn't listen to principal rodgers and she lets herself attends school on monday, but remembering her problem with jenny hasn't finish yet, she has to miss her some of the periods until the period before lunch.

so here she is, waiting in the principal's office on a monday morning to noon with her parents, waiting for jenny and her parents. she's definitely nervous, deep down she wants jenny to be expelled so that she doesn't have to deal with her.

"i swear if it's the same brooks-"

"i know."

nini glances at her parents in confusion, "what's the matter?"

they both turn around to face their daughter and smile, "it's nothing, honey."

nini was about to say something but then the door is opened. jenny walks in with a disgusted look, followed by her parents behind her. the tension grows bigger when nini's parents and jenny's make an eye contact. the four of them glare at each other as if all of them had a bad past between each other.

"i don't want to waste my time here, just straight to the point sir." jenny's dad says bitterly

"alright." principal rodgers tells the whole story from the beginning to jenny's parents while nini tries hard not to let the story traumatized her

"no way, there's no way our daughter is capable of doing that." jenny's mom says quickly

"well, i have a recording of my conversation with your daughter last friday, maybe you want to hear it? also the security camera tape on the time jenny went inside the toilet." principal rodgers offers

they nod, "sure, whatever."

they listen to the recording as their jaws' drop while glaring at jenny. expressions of disappointment fill their face as they shake their head.

"i-i swear i didn't mean it!" jenny pleads

garrett quickly interrupts, "i don't know how the hell you two raised your daughter to be a psycho like this. oh wait, i do!"

"shut the fuck up garrett, the past is the past." jenny's dad spats

nini and jenny widen their eyes as they glance at each other with confusion on their faces.

"the four of you know each other?" principal rodgers asks them

"of course! oliver here used to be my wife's freaky stalker because he was obsessed with my wife, especially her wealth." garrett tells him

"garrett, stop." alexis says as she comforts him

no wonder jenny is a psycho

"alright, i'm gonna have to stop that topic. this is your daughters' issue, not yours." principal rodgers says wisely, "i have to say this is a serious issue, which is why i decided to expell jenny brooks from east high school."

"no, please don't! there's still prom and graduation! i haven't even got my yale acceptance letter!" jenny says pleadingly

"as i said last friday, miss brooks. you should consider that before hurting miss roberts."

jenny groans loudly, "mom, dad, please. do something!"

"this is unfair sir-"

"unfair? UNFAIR? YOUR DAUGHTER HURT MY DAUGHTER UNTIL SHE'S UNCONSCIOUS WHEN SHE KNEW MY DAUGHTER IS HEALING FROM HER ACCIDENT." alexis yells at them

jenny's parents stay silent as they look down on their lap in embarrassment.

nini moves her wheelchair closer to alexis as she rubs alexis' arm, "mom."

alexis glances at her daughter who has tears on her face. she gives nini a small smile as she wipes her tears away.

alexis glances at jenny and her parents as she takes a deep breath, "my daughter has done nothing to yours. she did this because she got rejected by my daughter's boyfriend. and she made a revenge by hurting my daughter? that's low. so please, if you think this is unfair then you two are definitely awful as a person."

"you don't want to go to the court again, do you?" garrett asks them with a smirk. jenny's dad's eyes is filled with fear as he looks down on his lap.

"i'm sorry mr. and mrs. brooks, but my answer is final and it's to expell your daughter. i saw jenny's track record last friday and i have to say, it's bad." principal rodgers tells them, "i will give jenny two days to pack her stuffs and i don't expect to see her again in this school after that. thank you for coming here mr. and mrs. brooks. and jenny, i hope you learn your lesson."

jenny starts to cry and left the room quickly in embarrassment. nini feels bad, but deep down she's slightly relieved. she doesn't have to be scared anymore.

jenny's parents was about to walk out of the room, but garrett stops them. "it was definitely not nice meeting you again."

"fuck you." jenny's dad spats as he slams the door

when the door's closed, everyone lets out a sigh in victory as the issue is finally solved. nini finally feels safe and happy, and so did her parents.

"give me a second." principal rodgers tells them

he moves a microphone closer to his mouth as he starts to make an announcement, "all students please come to the gym immediately. i have an announcement to make, it won't take long. thank you."

"you can go home now, mr. and mrs. roberts. you too nina, if you're not feeling well."

"no, it's okay."

"can we bring nina for lunch outside? we promise to take her back here after."

principal rodgers smiles at them, "of course, it's almost lunch anyway."

"thank you so much for giving my daughter her justice sir." garrett says as he shakes the principal's hand

"of course."

garrett strolls the wheelchair as alexis walks next to him. they sigh in relief, knowing that their daughter is finally okay again.

alexis was about to say something, but her phone rings and she quickly answers it without looking at the caller id.

"alexis, hey. how did it go?"

"oh, ricky! jenny's expelled." alexis exclaims happily

"that's a relief," he chuckles, "where is nini?"

"oh, we've asked the principal's permission to let nini have lunch with us outside and we'll take her here again."

"alright, i'll see you at your house then."

"why don't you join us, ricky? i bet nini wants to see you."

nini looks up to alexis and she gives her a huge grin, which makes alexis laugh, "yup, she definitely wants you to come."

ricky laughs lightly, "alright, principal rodgers wants us to the gym, i'll see you after that."

"alright, i'll send you the adress."

"bye ricky!"

alexis turns off the phone call and she asks her husband and daughter, "any suggestions on which restaurant?"

"what about chinese? the one that's about 8 minutes from here?" nini suggests and they nod

"alright, chinese food it is!"

while the roberts make their way for lunch, ricky waits impatiently at the gym with the other students for the principal. he sees alexis sends him the restaurant, so he plans on quickly driving there after he's done at the gym.

"what's going on, anyway? i'm hungry." mason whines

"i think i know." ricky says with a smirk

"oh boy, that smirk. what is it?" howie asks with a sigh

"it has to do with the beloved slut." ricky smirks

"oh..." they say in unison

the principal quickly walks to the podium as he clears his throat and starts talking with the microphone.

"i won't waste much time here. i would like to inform all of you there has been a disturbing incident last friday where a student hurt another student until this student is unconscious."

everyone gasps loudly while ricky's friends sighs in worry, "the school has decided to expell the suspect. i am here to warn all of you and remind that east high has zero tolerance in bullying and violance. if we heard a similar accident as this, you know the consequences."

everyone drop their jaws on the ground, except for ricky who lets out a small smirk.

nini's finally safe

"dude, really? expelled?" kenny asks

ricky nods, "nini's mom told me the same thing before."

"does that mean she won't annoy us again?" big red asks

"definitely." ricky says confidently

"alright, you're all dismissed. seniors can have lunch while the others wait for your period. thank you."

ricky takes his bags and walks outside of the gym with his friends. they walk to the right side of the hall, while ricky walks to the left side, which confuses them.

"oh, nini wants me to eat lunch with her and her parents." ricky tells them

"aw, look at you! one step closer on becoming the roberts' son in law." zoe gushes

"shut up, zoe." he laughs lightly, "i'll see you guys later!"

ricky quickly makes his way to the parking lot and starts to drive his car to the restaurant that alexis texted him previously. it takes about 8 minutes to go there and when he arrives, he sees the roberts on the corner of the restaurant. he smiles as he approaches them.

he sees nini is backing him while her parents can see him walking to them, so he put his finger in the middle of his mouth to tell them to stay silent. he sneakily walk behind her and he quickly cover her eyes.

"w-who is this?" she stutters

her parents try to hold their laughter as ricky bends down to her ear, "guess who."

nini's terrified face turns into a happy one. she removes the hand with her left hand and look up to see her boyfriend grinning at her.

"you scared me!" she playfully slaps his arm

he laughs as he takes a seat next to her and press a kiss on her temple, "live a little."

"so, what did principal rodgers told you?" alexis asks

"about nini and jenny."

nini widens her eyes, "h-he didn't say-"

"he didn't say your name, don't worry." he gives her an assuring smile

"oh, we ordered you roasted duck, is that okay? nini told us it's your favorite." garrett tells him

"it is, thank you." he gives him a smile and he gives his attention fully to the person next to him. he scoots his chair closer to her as he wraps his arms around her waist.

"how are you feeling?"

she looks up to him, "overwhelmed."

"oh hey ricky, did your mom told you already about the dinner?" alexis asks

"what dinner?" ricky asks confusedly

"your mom and i planned on having a dinner, the six of us." she tells him, referring to the roberts and the bowens

"oh, she hasn't..." he says, "when?"

"after your parents come back from texas."

"what's the occassion?" nini asks confusedly

"it's been awhile," alexis tells her

the food finally arrives at their table and they start to eat. ricky would occassionally exchange eating his food and feed nini with her's. he would tease her like bringing the spoon to her mouth as if nini's a child by imagining the spoon as an airplane. nini was giggling and laughing hysterically with him and her parents watch them in amusement.

"i've never seen this side of her." alexis whispers to garrett

garrett turns to look at her with a smile, "me too."

alexis quickly takes her phone and sneakily shoots a picture of them, "lynne must see this."

he chuckles lightly, "women."

moments later they are done with their lunch. they still have another fifteen minutes, but alexis suggests that ricky and nini should go back to school already.

"thank you for the lunch." ricky says politely

"don't mention it, son." garrett tells him as he pats ricky's shoulders

"you sure you want to go back to school?" alexis asks nini

she nods, "i've missed so much. and i have ricky this next period, don't worry."

"alright, i'll see you two at home."

garrett and alexis hug them and they finally make their separate ways. then ricky helps nini gets inside the car and soon enough he drives back to school.

"i didn't know my dad called you "son", since when?" nini asks with a smile

he chuckles, "i forgot, honestly."

"i like it," she beams, "it suits you especially if my dad says that."

he grins at her as he takes her left hand and bring it to his lips, "i like it too."

she giggles and then the car's back in silence, not the awkward one, but definitely a comfortable one. ricky hums to the song which is played on the radio while nini enjoys the scenery from the window.

"i miss our spot." she blurts out

he glances at her as he put his hand on her thigh and squeeze it lightly, "you want to go there?"

she glances at him and nods, "but i can't go anywhere too far first, right?"

he gives her a smile, "yeah, soon okay?"

she nods excitedly, "we haven't get the time for the both of us too."

he raises his eyebrows, "babe, we slept on the same bed, you've been clinging around me. what does that mean to you?"

she laughs, "i know, i mean like just the two of us. like when we used to sneak out."

"oh, that..." he chuckles, "you have a point."

she suddenly groans loudly, "i really want my body to be normal again."

he gives her a weak smile as he brings his hand to stroke her hair, "you will, but it's going to take a lot of time."

she smiles at him, "i know you hate it when i say this but thank you."

he laughs lightly, "i'm so sick of you saying that."

they both laugh as they enjoy each other's presence riding back to school.

they arrive at school few minutes later and nini tells ricky they should quickly walk to their next class because she doesn't want them to be late.

"sometimes i don't get you." he sighs as he strolls her wheelchair

"hey, being punctual is good." nini says sternly

he chuckles as he press a kiss on her head, "whatever you say, princess."

moments later, they finally arrive at their class but there aren't many students there because the lunch hasn't finish yet. ricky helps nini to settle her stuffs on the table and after that he put his stuffs on the desk and sit next to her.

"you're not my seatmate." she says confusedly

"i'll just tell your seatmate to switch places with me." he shrugs off

"but-"

"you don't like it if i sit next to you?" he asks with a frown

she nods, "you're just going to distract me, i need to concentrate."

"please? i know how serious you are when studying. i promise i'll be serious too."

she glances at him who has a pleading look which she cannot resist so she gives in, "fine, but you should ask my seatmate first whether she mind or not to switch place with you."

"who's your seatmate anyway? i forgot."

"bella."

he scoffs, "i can use my charm to make her switch places with me."

she gives him a death glare, "you do remember people have known our relationship, right?"

"oh shit, i forgot." he groans

the bell finally rings and students start to show up in the room. the both of them have the same class as howie, ashlyn, and seb so the three of them are seated closer to them.

a girl comes up to ricky and she taps his shoulder, "excuse me, this is my seat."

ricky looks up to her with a smile, "can we switch place? i want to sit next to my girlfriend over here."

"oh, um..." the girl trails off

"it you mind, bella, ricky can go back to his place."

ricky widens his eyes as he glances at nini, "n-no! it's okay, i'll just sit on ricky's spot."

ricky turns to look at bella with a huge grin, "thanks bella, you're the best!"

bella chuckles and she glances at nini who shakes her head in amusement.

"sorry." nini mouthed

bella laughs lightly, "it's cool."

"geez, never thought ricky's so overprotective." ashlyn chuckles

ricky turns around and look at ashlyn, "i'm being a good boyfriend. taking care of her."

"sure..." nini trails off which earns laughters from their friends

"hey, what does that mean?" he whines

"nothing." she shrugs off

"did i do something?" he asks worriedly

they glance at ricky who has a concerning look which makes nini laugh, "nothing! i was just teasing you."

he groans, "i hate you."

"i hate you too." she grins at him

"get married already!" howie says with a groan

"oh, we will. i'll send you the invitation." he says with a wink

"dear god," nini groans loudly

"sorry i'm late, i had business to do." the teacher quickly walks in as he put his stuffs on the table, "we'll start a new material today. please open your book page 132."

nini was about to open her book but ricky beats her by him opening it first for her. then he takes her highlighter and pen from her pencil case and put it beside the book. when he's done helping her,  he lets out a huge grin.

"see? i'm not a distraction." he says with a wink

nini shakes her head with a chuckle in amusement as she turns her attention to the teacher.

so i've been thinking about the ending and i want your opinion because it'd be fun to know what you want. i have two options for the ending, one is to end it after ricky and nini's high school graduation or i should do a timeskip until they're old?

please comment "1" if you prefer ending it after graduation, or comment "2" if you prefer seeing a glimpse of ricky's and nini's life after graduation!

i still have another ideas before the ending and i think it won't be too heavy, just some fluffs and all that because i have no more ideas in making any problems, but if i have one, it won't be too heavy like the car crash, exposing relationship, coma, and all that stuffs. so yay to whoever loves no drama!!
