nini arrives exactly five minutes later at wilson park. the park itself isn't that far from the neighborhood, but it surely is safe for her and her boyfriend to meet up.

she approaches the bench near the tree as she plug in her airpod to listen to some music so that she doesn't feel alone. her head was bopping up and down jamming to lorde as she hummed the lyrics to the song.

she was enjoying herself when suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around her body from behind. she almost jumped on her seat when she turned around. she saw her boyfriend grinning like a child staring at her.

"dear god." she groans, "how many times should i tell you not to scare me like that!"

ricky bursts out into a fit laughter, "i'm sorry but that was hilarious."

she glares at him deadly and crosses her arms, signaling that she really is mad. ricky realizes her action so he take out her hands and help her stand up from her seat.

"i was kidding, you know! to lighten up your mood." he says as he rubs her knuckles with his thumb

"i know." she huffs, "but that didn't lighten up my mood at all."

ricky's smile turns quickly into a frown, "shit, is your mood really that bad?"

she nods softly then ricky pulls her into his arms as he wraps his arms around her and put his chin on her head, "i'm sorry."

"it's okay." she mumbles on his chest, "this is better than you scaring me."

"well i should just do this the next time, yeah?"

"yeah."

they stay like that for a few minutes until ricky speaks up, "should we go now?"

nini pulls away from the hug as she put both of her hands on his neck, "go where?"

"our spot."

"but it's a school night!" she whines

"we can go home at 4 or 5am, besides, your parents are out of town, right?"

ricky still sees the doubt expression on her face, "come on, princess. i promise you, i'll set the alarms loud enough to wake us up! i told you i'll make up for everything i did today."

he gives her the puppy eyes which always makes her heart flutter and she definitely cannot resist it, "fine." she mutters

ricky jumped eagerly on his victory. he takes her hands and walk to his car. he opens the passenger seat like a gentleman and then he gets inside the driver seat.

soon enough ricky drives the car as nini stares at her window, trying to loosen up her mood. ricky glances at her and sees that she really is in a bad mood. he instantly knows what it is, so he tries his best to calm her down.

he takes her hand and bring it to his lips as did a long and soft kiss on her knuckles. she turns around to face him and she gives him a weak smile. he smiles back, knowing that at least she can smile a little. the entire drive, he keeps holding her hand and kiss it every now and then just like she likes it.

about an hour later, they arrive at their place. which is a beautiful hill at park city, utah where you can basically see park city from above. this place has been their getaway place ever since they started dating. it's better for them to sneak out in outside of salt lake city so that no one knows about them.

"come on." he says softly as he take out the blankets and pillows on his backseat

he sets the blanket in front of the car as nini waits for him by leaning against the car door. when he's done, he take out his hand to intertwine it with hers and they lay down on the pillow.

it was always like this. sneaking out to their spot. mostly talking, laughing, crying, ranting, and other things. even though it's quite sad enough they have to keep their relationship as a secret, they like it this way despite they have to act like they hate each other and say awful things towards each other, but at the end of the day, they knew they didn't mean the awful things that they say towards each other.

secret dating for two years, you may think it's really hard, but turns out it's quite easy for them.

ricky is nini's person and nini is ricky's person. they know each other very well. ricky knows pretty well whenever nini's happy, sad, angry, lying, anxious, and vice versa. the perks of knowing each other since they were little.

they've been caught few times for interacting civil with each other the first few months of dating, which is why the more the days passed by, the more cautious they are for their relationship. which is why they really have to act like they hate each other so that no one gets suspicious.

"you wanna tell me now?" ricky asks as he wrapped his arms on her waist while rubbing it with his thumb

she snuggles up to his chest, "my parents."

ricky chuckles lightly, "of course."

"it's almost a month, they haven't tell me or bertha and sarah when will they be back. i miss them a lot. i feel like an orphan." she rants as she let out few tears from her eyes

ricky notices the tears so he lowered down his body so that he can face her. he brings his thumb to her cheeks as he wipes the tears softly.

"you have me." he whispers, "and i hate to say this but they're doing this for you. just remember you have me, okay? and you have your friends. you name it. gina, kourtney, ashlyn, carlos, seb. they know your problems, right? they definitely know you well. and i know they are all good people and i am so glad you have them."

she sniffles as she closes the gap between their nose. she rubs her nose with his softly as she closes her eyes, "why are your words always convincing?"

"let's just say i'm an expert." he winks and she laughs lightly

"there it is!" he says, referring to the laugh

"well you really are good at this, unlike me." she mutters

"hey, no. you know how to make me feel better everytime i'm having mental breakdown because of my parents."

"i guess we both really are good with words."

"that's fair."

she giggles as she closes the gap between their lips. he slides his arm around her as his other hand still working on her cheeks while nini's hands were wrapped around his torso. it wasn't a desperate kiss, but they know they cannot resist each other. they have to admit that they love kissing each other, as if it's one of the ways to make each other better. their touch towards each other make them feel safe and comfortable.

ricky pulls away then he presses his lips to her forehead. then he looks at her face again and sees that she's finally a bit calmer than before. he smiles a little as he rubs her cheeks again, knowing that makes her relax more.

"thank you." she whispers as she lets out a small smile

"of course, princess."

she sighs, "alright, enough with the tears. how's your grades?"

ricky groans, "really? out of all things going on in my life, grades should be ask first?"

nini giggles as she pinches his cheeks, "oh come on! remember our goal? columbia? going away from everyone?"

he smiles, "of course i remember. you and me, columbia university, one apartment, staying far away from everyone here, come back to salt lake four years later with a ring on your finger."

"now you know why i ask your grades first." she beams

"alright, alright." he gives in, "it's...okay." he trails off

nini knows he's lying, "baby," she pleads

"fine," he huffed, "it's been kind of awful lately."

"we'll study on our next sneak out, okay?"

"you're no fun." he whines

"i will be fun when we both got accepted at columbia."

nini still sees the frown on his lips so she leaned in to peck his lips softly, "it'll be worth it."

"fine, you win." he muttered

nini squeals as she jumps herself to his arms until ricky lays down on the blanket. then she pulls away from the hug as she softly play with his hair. she's now on top of him, staring at him with love.

"it's crazy to think we've done this for two years." she says

"i know, right?" he chuckles, "will we get caught?"

"i sure hope not."

he nods in agreement, "are you feeling better already?"

"80%, we still haven't finish the cuddles, you know?"

ricky laughs as he pulls her to his side and let her body snuggles up to his chest as she wraps her arms around his torso while his was on her waist.

"i love you, ricky." she whispers

"i love you too, nini."

they close their gap as they connect their lips together for a passionate kiss. nini moves her hands to his cheek to rub it softly has ricky's hands rub her back the way she likes it. ricky's desperate enough to deepened the kiss as he pulls her body more to his so that there's no space left between them and they intertwine their legs together. nini giggles as ricky tightened her body to his and he has to admit her laughs and giggles are contaminating, like it always makes his heart flutters. just hearing her laugh in front of him makes him happy because he knows that he makes her happy, just like she makes him happy. and every single time that they are together alone, they don't care if their relationship is a secret, as long as they are happy around each other. they love each other so much, they will do anything to make each other happy and maintain their relationship.

soon they pull their lips away to catch some air with their foreheads still pressed with each other. ricky opens his eyes and he sees the love of his life is smiling widely, and this smile surely always makes his heart flutters and grow butterflies on his stomach.

suddenly nini takes her hand to her mouth, closing her wide-open mouth after yawning. ricky chuckles lightly, knowing that his girlfriend is sleepy.

"it's 11pm, princess. we can sleep, yeah?" he says and she nods in response with her eyes still closed

"set your alarms, don't forget." she reminds him

he laughs as he press a kiss on her forehead, "4am, all done."

"okay, goodnight baby, i love you." she yawns as she snuggles up to his arms and close her eyes to sleep

"goodnight princess, i love you too."

as scheduled, they both wake up at 4am later on. ricky's the first one to wake up since the alarm is right next to his ear. he purposely did that so that he could wake her up by herself. aside from that, he just wants to see his girlfriend, who's according to him, cutely sleeping in his arms.

he tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear then he rubs her cheek softly. he smiles seeing how beautiful and gorgeous she is, even just sleeping. he decides to wake her up before she gets mad at him.

"princess, wake up." he whispers softly

then nini slowly opened her eyes while rubbing it slowly. she looks up and sees her boyfriend smiling at her.

this is definitely what i want to see everytime i wake up for the rest of my life

"hi," she breaths out

"hi, you sleep good?" he asks

"mhm." she hums as she press a kiss on his neck

he looks at the time on his phone "hey, it's 4.03."

she groans lightly as she buries her face on his neck, "i suddenly regret waking up at this hour."

he laughs as he get up from the pillow, "come on, you don't wanna be late."

she huffs as she joins him to get up, "you're right. and prepare for another hate act."

"it's kinda funny because i hate it and enjoy it at the same time." he adds

"i know, right? it's fun seeing you mad but at the same time i feel bad." she frowns

"hey, i should be the one who says that! if you actually realize, i'm the one who usually make you mad." he points out

"oh yeah" she chuckles, "and i'm usually the one who gets mad at you and either slap you on your cheek or fists your stomach."

"it's fun because you're both cute and hot when you're mad." he gives her a wink and she blushes when he says that

she looks down on her lap so that he cannot see her cheeks are rosy red. ricky instantly know that action so he lifts up her chin, "and i like it when i make you blush."

she playfully slaps his chest, "oh shut up!"

he raises his hands in defense, "geez, since when are you so grumpy at 4am?"

"since just now. come on!" she laughs as she take the pillows to the car

the two then put in all their stuff in ricky's car and drive back to wilson park. yes, it's creepy driving outside of town at 4am, but it can be romantic when you're with someone you're deeply in love with.

as ricky turns up the radio who is playing nini's all-time favorite musician, taylor swift, nini would sing her hearts out and giggle as she sees ricky tries to sing along with her.

about an hour later they arrive at wilson park. thankfully the area is safe enough for a person to walk alone at the neighborhood, but ricky being an overprotective boyfriend, he let nini walk first a few meters far from him and then he drives slowly to follow her so that he can see if she's safe.

ricky sighs as the car stops at wilson park. then he turns to face nini who is already smiling at him.

"thank you for last night, ricky. it really helped me a lot." she says as she intertwines their fingers

"i'm glad it worked out." he responds while bringing her hands to his lips and kiss it softly

"alright, i should go."

before nini can get out of the car, ricky stops her so she turns around to face him and give him a questioning look. then he points his lip to his finger, signaling she forgots to kiss him. she giggles as she holds his cheek while connecting their lips together. it was a short kiss, but definitely filled with love.

when she pulls away and bites her lip, ricky leans in again to kiss her because that action always turns him on. but before he can kiss her again, she stops him.

"enough, buddy. spare some for janitor's closet." she winks

he bursts out into a fit laughter, "alright."

she smiles as she gets out of the car. ricky bites his lip as he watches his girlfriend walk slowly to her house. he shakes his head, knowing how crazy she makes him. one moment she's this innocent-cute girl and the next thing she can definitely turn him on just by doing things that he likes.

when he is sure enough that her distance and his are quite far, he slowly drives back to his car.

about five minutes later, he sees nini opening her window, meaning that she's safe inside her house already. he smiles and drive in to the house next to nini's, which is his house. he park his car on his driveway and made his way to the front door.

same as nini, ricky is currently living with his housemaids, but ricky only has one housemaid and her name's molly, who is as nice and a more parent figure as nini's housemaids. lucky for him, molly is a heavy sleeper and when his parents are not home, molly let him freely go out of the house whenever he likes because molly thinks he's an adult and he's responsible enough of himself, which is why he easily walk inside his house from his front door.

he walks to his room and throws himself to his comfortable bed. he lays down as he face the ceiling. his mind then wanders around his girlfriend and everything that happened last night.

he's happy enough that he can make her happy and feel better because that's what she always do for him. he's happy enough to have her in his arms last night and let her sleep comfortably in his arms. he's happy enough the love of his life trusts him enough for everything because he trusts her aswell.

and he promised to himself to never break her heart.
