"Thanks, Minho."
He had opened the door to his house for us, everything going according to plan.
"Anytime...," he whispered while looking at Haeun. His cheeks and ears were burning bright red. My neighbor couldn't have been more obvious about his feelings.
I cleared my throat because these two idiots were clearly in their own world, busy making heart eyes at each other.
"Now if you could excuse me. My boyfriend is waiting for me."
And with that I ran inside into Chunghee's bedroom. It was connected to Minho's own room. He obviously wouldn't leave a small child on his own.
There he sat. My heart was pounding at the sight of his back. After weeks of not seeing each other, not talking to each other, he was finally here, right in front of me and played with Chunghee.
My boyfriend didn't notice me yet, so I sat down behind him and put my head on his shoulder.
"Hi."
I kissed his cheek.
Jeongin took a deep breath, his eyes now wide open. We didn't say anything, just leaned on one another. The only thing you could hear was Chunghee's cute giggles echoing in the room.
Needless to say, Jeongin looked as tired as me. The bags under his eyes, the puffiness and he even broke out in some places.
Yet, he looked so breathtakingly beautiful.
I sat down next to him, wrapping my arms around his waist to pull him on to my lap. He still didn't say a thing, neither did I. But when I raised my hand and started going through his hair, his eyes started filling with tears.
"Hyunjin."
"Yes, Baby?"
"I love you. I am in love with you. I love you so much, please don't leave again. I can't do this without you."
"Don't worry. I am here now and I am not going anywhere."
He immediately wrapped his arms around my upper body and buried his face in my neck. The moment I took in his scent, I knew I was home.
