Rory was laying in bed with her head on Logan's shoulder while he softly ran his fingers up and down her back. They were getting married on December 10th which was only 2 weeks away.
Logan could tell that Rory had fallen asleep so he tried to move his arm out from under her. Normally he'd just leave it but his arm had fallen asleep way before Rory did. As soon as Logan tried to move, Rory wrapped her arm around him so he couldn't.
Logan chuckled softly "Ace, my arm is asleep" He whispered. Rory moved so that Logan could get his arm back. He kissed the top of her head. "Good night, Ace"
The next day was busy. Rory, Amelia, and the bridesmaids had their final dress fittings and Logan, both Olivers, and the groomsmen had their suit fittings.
"Mama!" Amelia called out
"She's getting dressed" Lane said. "She'll be out here in a minute"
"Why don't you put your dress on while we wait for her?" Lorelai asked. "You're the last one not wearing their dress". That was on purpose. Rory wanted Amelia in her dress for the least amount of time possible to reduce the chances of it getting dirty or ruined.
"No, I need mama to help me" Amelia said
"We can help you" Lorelai said
Amelia shook her head. "Mama has to do it"
"Ok"
——
"Logan, I need help" Ollie said
"You don't know how to tie a tie?" Colin asked jokingly
"I'm 7" Ollie said
"I'm just kidding" Colin said "Come here, I'll help you"
"Oliver, try your shoes on please" Logan said
"Which Oliver?" Both of them asked. Colin and Finn laughed.
Logan chuckled. "My Oliver" he said. "Although both of you need to try them on"
"Which ones are mine?" Oliver asked
"Both pairs are the same" Logan said. Both boys were wearing the same shoes and they were the same size so it didn't matter which pair each boy took. "Pick one, try them on so we know they fit, and then I'll write your names on the boxes so we know whose is whose"
"We have the same name" Ollie said
"Then we'll write Ollie on yours" Logan said. He didn't really think it would matter. They were the same shoes in the same size, but he knew that it mattered to the boys.
"This is hilarious" Finn laughed. "Twin Olivers. You'll be getting them mixed up for the rest of your life"
"If you and Rory ever have a baby, you should name him Oliver" Colin said.
"That's dumb" Oliver said
"What he said" Logan chuckled.
"Plus, what if they have a baby and it's a girl? You can't name a girl Oliver" Ollie said
"Amelia" Colin said
"No" Logan said.
——
"Is that good?" The seamstress, Isabelle asked. "Comfortable?"
"Yeah" Rory said
"Are you changing your name when you get married?" Paris asked
"Yes" Rory said
"What about the kids?" Lane asked
"I don't know" Rory said. "Right now their birth certificates and stuff say Gilmore-Carter. I might change the Gilmore part to Huntzberger, but I haven't decided. I need to talk to Adam about it"
"And we're gonna go to his house!" Amelia said. She was playing with Rory's phone and not paying attention to the conversation, but she did hear Rory say Adam's name which reminded her that she was excited to go to Pittsburgh.
"After the wedding" Rory said. After the wedding Ollie and Amelia were going to Pittsburg to stay with Adam while Rory and Logan went on their honeymoon. Oliver would stay with Honor. They were only going for a week because Rory wanted to be back for Amelia's birthday, and then it was Christmas.
"The wedding is fun" Amelia said
"Yeah we've got lots of fun stuff going on right now, huh?"
Amelia nodded. "My birthday and Christmas. And when it's my birthday I'm gonna be 5"
"5 is a lot" Lane said
"God, 5 is crazy" Rory shook her head. Her kids were growing up way faster than she'd like.
"Turn around please" Isabelle said and Rory turned to face the other way.
"And when I'm 5 I get earrings" Amelia said
"Really?" Lorelai asked. She thought that Rory should get Amelia's ears pierced when she was a baby, but Rory didn't want to.
"I promised" Rory said. Amelia had asked Rory for earrings a few times, and she decided that if Amelia still wanted earrings by her birthday, she would take her to get her ears pierced.

December 9th:
The rehearsal dinner was mostly successful, other than some passive aggressiveness between Shira, Emily, and Lorelai. After dinner the kids were exhausted and fell asleep pretty much as soon as they got into bed.
"I think I'm gonna take a shower" Rory said
"Ok" Logan said. "You alright?"
"Yeah" Rory nodded. She went to shower and Logan went downstairs to make some tea.
Almost an hour went by, and Logan hadn't seen Rory so he went upstairs and knocked on the bathroom door. "Ace, you ok?"
"What?" Rory asked. She could hear Logan on the other side of the door but she couldn't tell what he was saying. Rory's way of dealing with the emotional stress of both her and Logan's family having to be in the same room was to literally wash it away. She would get in the shower and just sit on the floor with the water running over her until she felt better.
"Are you ok?" Logan asked
"I can't hear you"
"Can I come in?" Logan asked
"What?"
"I'm coming in" Logan said. He opened the door to see Rory sitting on the shower floor with her knees to her chest and the shower running. "What are you doing?"
Rory stood up and turned the shower off. "Washing my stress away" she said as she wrapped herself in a towel.
"You know..." Logan said as he put his hands on Rory's waist. "If you need to relax, I have a better way to do that"
"Oh really?" Rory chuckled
"Yeah" he said and kissed her.
"I don't think we're supposed to have sex the night before our wedding"
"We're also not supposed to sleep in the same bed, but we're doing that"
"Good point"
——
The next morning Rory woke up alone. She went downstairs to make coffee and found a note.
Bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.
Rory made herself a cup of coffee and went to sit in the living room.
"Morning sunshine" Lorelai said as Rory walked into the living room, startling her.
"Mom, what the hell?"
"Happy wedding day"
"You scared the crap out of me"
"Sorry"
"Please tell me you didn't leave your house at 5 in the morning in order to be here at 7"
"Can't"
"You're nuts" Rory said and sat down next to her mother.
"Yes I am" Lorelai said. "So Amelia's still asleep?"
"Yeah" Rory said. "Although, this is around the time where she usually ends up in our bed so she'll probably be down any minute when she realized that nobody's there"
Just like Rory said, Amelia came down a few minutes later and climbed into Rory's lap. She snuggled up against Rory, and Rory was a little worried that she was gonna fall back asleep because usually she went back to sleep in Rory and Logan's bed in the morning.
"You can't go back to sleep today, Mel. We have to start getting ready soon" Rory said and kissed the top of her head.
"No" Amelia shook her head
"You don't want to get ready to put on your princess dress?"
"I want to!" Amelia said
"That's what I thought" Rory chuckled. "Come on, I'm give you breakfast"

Since the boys were getting ready with Logan, it was his responsibility to do Ollie's hair. He was completely fine with that until the time came to actually do Ollie's hair and Logan realized that he didn't know how.
"How's does your mom do this?" Logan asked
"I don't know" Ollie said.
Logan made a few attempts that would've been fine any other day, but not for the wedding. "Alright, I'm done. What do you think?" Logan asked after trying for the fifth time to put Ollie's hair in a bun.
"I think we should get mom" Ollie said
"We're not bothering your mother, she's busy" Logan said. The last thing Logan wanted to do was call Rory to do something that he said he'd take care of.
"She's gonna be mad that my hair isn't neat" Ollie said. Rory always encouraged Ollie to let her do his hair in the morning but she never forced him. The only times she made him was when they were doing something or going somewhere where he needed to look put together.
"I know" Logan said. "I'm gonna figure it out"
"Whatever you say"
