After the party incident, Taehyun's father conducted an extensive investigation into who could've possible let in the Yuka members.

Y/N was cleared from being interrogated since her track record wasn't very long, but the others weren't as fortunate.

Currently, Y/N was in the boy's dorm as Yeonjun walked in from his interview.

"Well?" She asked getting up from the couch.

Yeonjun sighed. "Still nothing, everyone seems to be innocent. There isn't a single member that would be working for Yuka."

Taehyun walked up and stood next to Y/N. "That can't be true. There has to be a mole."

Y/N looked at Taehyun before looking at Yeonjun. "As much as I hate saying this, Taehyun's right. From what I've heard the only way any outsiders could've gotten in is with someone from our side's help."

Soobin walked out of his room with a report in his hands before handing it to Taehyun. "Those are the casualties from last night."

Taehyun took the report. "Thankfully most were injured by fatal gunshot wounds, but we lost some investors which isn't good."

"There's one more thing." Yeonjun said making everyone look at him. "Your father isn't happy you ran out Taehyun, you could've been killed."

Y/N looked back at Taehyun. "You ran out to save us?"

Taehyun looked down at her and sighed. "I couldn't let my friends be killed while I did nothing."

Y/N's heart skipped a beat hearing him call her a friend. Even though he meant he wanted to save everyone, the thought that he wanted to make sure she was okay oddly made her flustered.

"I'll keep doing investigative work to track the mole." Soobin said going back to his room.

Y/N pulled out her phone and checked the time. "I have to go library. The book I ordered for our report just arrived." She put her phone back in her pocket and began to walk to the door before Taehyun followed after her.

"Wait, I'll go with you. After all it's dangerous." He said making her turn around.

Y/N shrugged as she opened and door and Taehyun followed behind.

"So what did your order exactly?" Taehyun asked moving to her side.

"It's just a record book of all known mafias in Korea. I figured it could help with our project." She said making a turn, heading the library building.

Taehyun was about to say something when he was cut off by an energetic girl approaching them.

"Hi guys! Are you going to the Rose Ball Monday night?" She asked holding out a flyer.

"Oh I totally forgot about that." Y/N said taking the paper.

"Well if you're planning on coming make sure you arrive by 6 on Monday!" She said before walking away.

Taehyun peeked over Y/N's shoulder to look at the flyer. "Rose Ball?"

Y/N turned around. "Yeah it's a special dance that I wanted to attend."

Taehyun rubbed his neck. "Oh, that's cool."

Y/N gave an awkward sigh before continuing to the library. "You know I do need a date to the dance...would you wanna go with me?"

Taehyun made a face. "Not really. I don't do fancy dances and stuff like that."

Y/N was oddly saddened by his denial to her request. "That's fine. Not like I wanted to go with you anyway." She said walking into the library.

She made her way to the counter and asked for the book. The librarian told her she'd get it from the back.

"Hey Kang." A voice said from behind Taehyun.

Taehyun turned around. "Chase? What are you doing here?"

Chase smiled. "I'm taking a few classes here. I need to get some books."

Taehyun gave 'huh'. "I never knew you studied here."

Chase shrugged. "I enrolled recently." His eyes scanned over before noticing Y/N. He smirked and approached her.

"Well hello there." He said.

Y/N turned and saw him. "Hi?"

"You're the pretty girl from the party last night." He said with a wink.

Y/N smiled, a bit red from his words. Chase wasn't an unattractive guy by any means, so naturally she was flustered by the compliment.

"What?"

Taehyun walked over hearing him say that. "Y/N this is Chase. He works with us."

Chase smiled and extended his hand. Y/N shook it. "Pleasure finally knowing your name. You caught my eye."

Y/N gave a small smile. "Thanks."

"Here's your book dear." The librarian said handing it to her.

Y/N thanked the lady and turned back to the guys.

Chase looked at Taehyun before patting his shoulder. "Well I have to get some books." He turned back to Y/N. "I hope to see you again." He said before winking at Y/N one last time and leaving.

Y/N watched him leave. "Damn if I knew the mafia had hotties like him I'd join a long time ago."

Taehyun crossed his arms. "Oh please Chase isn't that hot."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Have you seen his face?"

Taehyun glared at her. "He's not hot."

"Yes he is."

"He's not."

"Yes he is!"

Taehyun watched as she turned around to glance at him again. Jealously burned in him as he grabbed her wrist and dragged her away.

"Hey what are you doing!"

Taehyun ignored her and kept pulling her away.

Sunday:

Y/N, Taehyun, and Sunghoon all were working on their projects in a study room.

"So Sunghoon anything exciting this week?" Y/N asked writing something down.

"Oh I'm going to that ball on Monday."

Y/N's eyes lit up. "Really you're going too!? I'm going as well."

Taehyun snickered. "I thought you need a date." He said grabbing his water bottle he had on the side and began to unscrew the cap.

Y/N gave an annoyed face and turned to him. "Actually I do have a date."

Taehyun 'tsked'. "Oh really whose that?" He asked drinking some water.

"Chase."

Taehyun choked on his water, spitting some of it out. He pounded his chest and coughed. "C-Chase?"

Y/N crossed her arms. "Yeah because he stepped up and asked me himself after a certain someone said no."

Y/N sighed with a smile morphing onto her lips as she recalled the memory.

Flashback:

"Hey Y/N wait up!" Chase said as Y/N was heading back the dorms.

Y/N turned around and smiled. "Oh hey Chase what's up?

Chase panted from running as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Nothing much...I heard you're going to the ball this Monday."

Y/N nodded. "That's true."

Chase looked at his shoes before looking at her. "I'm going to and I'd love to have a pretty girl like yourself as my date."

Y/N gave a surprised smile. "Y-yes I'll be your date."

Chase gave a wide smile. "Thanks, I'll pick you up at 5:30." He said before grabbing her hand and kissing the back of it. "I can't wait." He said before leaving.

End of Flashback:

"Then he kissed my hand and the rest is a blur." Y/N finished telling the boys what happened.

"Gross." Sunghoon said closing his book.

Y/N glared at him. "I think it was really sweet of him to ask me."

Taehyun was getting annoyed with this whole Chase talk. After all, according to Taehyun, Chase wasn't the whole package.

"I need to pick a dress to wear." Y/N said grabbing her phone and texting Yunjin to help her.

Taehyun rolled his eyes. "You know Chase isn't really that hot or anything. I mean I've got better muscles than him and a better personality."

Y/N laughed. "Oh please." Her phone dinged as she got up. "Well I'm leaving. See you guys later." She waved goodbye and slung her bag over her shoulder.

Sunghoon and Taehyun watched her leave as Taehyun sighed.

"You don't seem happy that she's going with him." Sunghoon said looking at the boy.

Taehyun's eyes followed her out the window before he turned to Sunghoon. "It's not that I'm jealous or anything, I just don't like Chase."

"What's wrong with Chase? From what I've heard mans got some W rizz."

Taehyun looked back at his books. "Chase has always been a nice guy and everything, but I don't know. He's got an off vibe to him."

Sunghoon narrowed his eyes. "You think he's hiding something?"

Taehyun shrugged. "I doubt it. He's been apart of the mafia for years now."

"Well don't count him out. Maybe it'd be a good idea to do some digging." Sunghoon suggested. "For Y/N's sake."

Taehyun gave a small smile hearing her name. "Yeah, for her sake."

At the Boy's Dorm:

"What do you mean you're both going to the ball?" Taehyun asked confused.

Beomgyu and Yeonjun shrugged. "Yeonjun made a bet with one of the jocks that if he could beat him in a game of rock paper scissors he'd get fifty bucks."

Taehyun nodded. "Ahuh. But what about if he lost?"

Beomgyu sighed looking at his friend. "Is he lost he had to take his sister to the ball."

Taehyun shook his head. "Wait Beomgyu how'd you get roped into this?"

"Double or nothing." Yeonjun said.

"Yeah now I'm stuck taking your date's dorky best friend!" Beomgyu smacked the back of Yeonjun's head.

Taehyun laughed at the two. "Well good luck I guess."

"Woah woah you're not going?" Yeonjun asked.

"Nah dances aren't really my thing."

"But what about Y/N?" Beomgyu added.

Taehyun looked at the two. "She's going with Chase."

Yeonjun and Beomgyu both made 'o's with their mouths. "Well guess we'll see them there." Yeonjun said.

Taehyun recalled Chase mentioning he was taking classes at the college. "Hey did you guys know Chase was taking classes here?"

Both boys shook their heads. "Chase always said he was too busy for school."

Taehyun gave another 'huh'. "That's interesting. Why would he suddenly enroll here then?"

Beomgyu shrugged. "Maybe he realized he needs an IQ and his good looks can only take him so far."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes. "His looks must not be good enough. Mine are killer."

Beomgyu patted his back. "Keep telling yourself that." He said before leaving.

Yeonjun got offended and ran after him, screaming, "I'm handsome! Admit it you punk!"

Taehyun went over to his laptop and typed in Chase's name into the college website. However, nothing came up.

Confused, Taehyun tried again, but the same results showed up. "He's not even a registered student. How could he take classes?"

He thoughts were interrupted however, by Yeonjun and Beomgyu bursting into the room, wrestling.

"This is for making me go to some lame dance!" Beomgyu said smacking his elbow before going full John Cena on Yeonjun.

Taehyun rushed over hearing Yeonjun's screams.

The Next Day:

It was now Monday and Y/N was busy getting ready for the ball.

She found the prettiest dress that showed suited her style just right. She began to do her hair and makeup with the help of Yunjin.

"I saw that Chase guy that you're going with, he's not too shabby." Yunjin said applying some blush.

Y/N smiled. "Yeah he is. But he's really sweet too. This morning he had someone deliver me flowers."

Yunjin placed a hand on her heart. "Awe, I'm so happy for you."

Y/N thanked her as she finished her makeup.

"Alright we're all done. And you still got some time till Chase gets here."

Y/N nodded and checked her appearance again. "Tonight's going to be great."

"I wanna hear all about it when you get back." Yunjin said.

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Of course."

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Y/N walked over expecting to see Chase, however Taehyun was stood at the door.

"Taehyun? What are you doing here?" Y/N asked. Yunjin got up and excused herself.

Taehyun walked inside. His eyes scanned over her figure. "Wow, you actually look good."

Y/N glared at him. "I look good all the time now what do you want?"

"Y/N I don't think you should go to the dance with Chase."

Y/N scoffed. "What? Why?"

"I looked up his name in the student registrar and nothing came up. Plus he's got a weird vibe." Taehyun said crossing his arms.

Y/N shook her head. "I know what this is about. You just wanna ruin another opportunity for me, like the karate team."

"What- Y/N no this is serious!" Taehyun said looking at the girl who was busy glaring at him.

"Taehyun I'm going with Chase." She said as she turned around.

Taehyun walked over and grabbed her arm as he turned her around. She stumbled close to him before yanking her arm out of his grip.

"Y/N I know we don't get along but just listen to me-"

Taehyun was cut off by a knock at the door. Y/N turned around before she heard Chase's voice.

"Y/N? You ready?" He called out.

Y/N looked at the door as did Taehyun. She began to walk over but Taehyun grabbed her hand.

"Y/N don't-"

"Shove off Taehyun." She said before pushing him aside, making him stumble back.

Y/N smiled and looked in the mirror one last time. She walked to the door and opened it and smiled seeing Chase in a black tux.

"Wow you look stunning." He said.

Y/N smiled. "Thanks, shall we go?"

Chase extended his arm as Y/N looped her's in his. She turned back around and glared at Taehyun one last time before leaving.

Chase looked into the room and saw Taehyun. He smirked and winked before his face returned back to its normal charm.

Taehyun narrowed his eyes at the couple as he sighed.

Meanwhile with Taehyun:

"What are you doing here? I figured you'd be out having fun since everyone else is." Soobin asked.

Taehyun was busy on his laptop. "I can't."

Soobin sat next to him on the couch. "Why what's wrong?"

Taehyun looked up from his laptop to Soobin. "You know how I told you guys Chase told me he's taking classes at the university?"

Soobin nodded.

"Well when I looked him up on the college's enrollment page nothing came up. He never actually enrolled here."

"That's weird. But it sorta makes sense. Chase never seemed to have the time to go to school."

Taehyun turned his whole body to Soobin. "What do you mean?"

"Well he was off the grid for quite a bit. Everyone says it was to take care of 'super secret' mafia business but when he got back he seemed different."

"I've got a weird feeling about him. He's hiding something." Taehyun closed his laptop.

"Taehyun."

Taehyun looked at Soobin. "Yea?"

Soobin got up from the couch. "If your hunch is correct, Chase could be the mole. It makes sense. He left around the same time the Yuka clan started gaining members, he lies about being enrolled here, and...he took Y/N to the dance when he barely knows her."

Taehyun's eyes widened. "He's going to try and kill her! Shit I need to get to the ball." He raced to his room. "Gosh I need a stupid tux!"

Soobin rushed in and helped him find the clothes. Taehyun changed quickly and raced out the door.

With Y/N and Chase:

The couple had just finished up their first dance. Chase let his hands linger on Y/N for a second before pulling away.

"You dance beautifully."

Y/N smiled. "Thank you, you're not too bad yourself."

Chase looked around. "Excuse me for a moment." He said before leaving.

Y/N gave a small wave before letting out a small laugh seeing Beomgyu and Yeonjun try to run away from their dates.

She saw Sunghoon who was waving at his date. He made eye contact with Y/N as she smiled and gave a friendly wave to him.

"Y/N!" Taehyun shouted out of breath as he came running to her.

Y/N turned around as her expression changed into shock. "Taehyun? What are you doing here?"

Taehyun nearly bumped into her. "Y/N you need to stay away from Chase."

Y/N shook her head. "Taehyun I already told you-"

"Y/N he lied about being enrolled here! I told you I had a bad feeling about him."

Y/N shook her head. "You're so unbelievable. Look I know we don't get along but purposely ruining my date with Chase because you don't like him is a low blow."

Taehyun groaned with frustration. "It's not about that! Yeah maybe I was a little jealous that he asked you out but I'm being serious!"

Y/N sighed. "Look I don't have time for this, I have to find Chase." She said turning around.

Taehyun was frantic as he grabbed her arm. "I can't let you be with him."

"Taehyun let go!" She groaned trying to get her arm out of his grip.

"Y/N listen to me- OW!" Taehyun yelped as he let go after Y/N stomped on his foot.

"What's going on here? Taehyun?" Chase asked confused as he approached the two.

Taehyun glared at him. "I know the truth Chase. You're the mole right?"

Y/N turned to Taehyun. "Are you serious? Leave him alone."

Chase smirked as he motioned for someone to come forward. Two other guys came over. "Took ya long enough to figure it out Kang."

Taehyun's eyes darkened. "Why'd you betray us huh? Yuka offer you a big stack of cash?"

Chase laughed. "Oh please, seeing you and your father fall is enough payment for me."

Y/N's expression fell in disbelief. "You lied? You asshole!"

Chase glared at her. "You're cute and all but you're gonna have to die too." He went to punch her before Taehyun shoved her behind himself and caught Chase's fist in his hand.

A fight broke out as Chase and Taehyun began fighting.

One of the guy's that was beside Chase went after Y/N. She booked it away from him to get some distance. The guy whose snake tattoo was now somewhat visible her tried kicking her legs.

Y/N jumped to avoid his attack before kicking the guy in the gut. The guy groaned before he kicked her back making her fall.

She let out a yelp in pain before kicking the guy with both legs and getting back up. Her fists clenched as she moved her head to the side to miss a punch.

Meanwhile, Taehyun and Chase were going strong. They both had landed some pretty good hits on one another.

However, Taehyun's eyes tore away for a second to see the fear in the crowd of the other people there.

"Yeonjun! Beomgyu! Keep them safe!" Taehyun yelled doing a reverse back kick to Chase's face.

"Got it!" Both boys yelled helping the crowd keep away from the fighting.

"You're going to regret that." Chase said dipping his fingers onto the blood running down the side of his face.

He did a black flip and landed a hit on Taehyun's chin making Taehyun stumble back.

"Heh is that all you got?" Taehyun smirked going back as he dodged more hits and landed a few more of his own.

Y/N was still going strong. Her opponent was a lot bigger than her, but she had the skills and body to move more freely.

She ducked down and stuck her leg out as the guy tripped. Her fist missed his head as he moved before he kicked her back into one of the diner tables the ball had in the back for couples to rest and eat.

Y/N groaned before moving her body to the left to avoid a kick.

Her attacker grabbed one of the chairs and began to swing it at her. Y/N dodged each attempt doing a few backflips. Her eyes landed on the table as she jumped up and kicked the guy in the head.

The guy groaned and attempted to hit her with the chair again but this time she grabbed it.

They fought for the chair before let out backing the guy stumble before she jumped and twisted her body to connect one last knockout to the guy's skull. He fell to the floor unconscious as Y/N smirked with victory.

Sunghoon was watching with his date from the date before he saw the other guy creeping on her.

"Y/N watch out!" He shouted running over and kicking the guy in the chest as hard as he could.

The guy flew back hard and hit the back of his head on the wall making him black out.

"Woah!" Sunghoon said shocked by his own power. "I didn't know I could do that!"

Y/N smiled and placed her hands on her
