It was now the next day and Y/N was with Yunjin.

"Wait so you beat up a bald guy with a tattoo?" Her friend asked confused as Y/N slammed her math book into the back of her locker.

"Yup, kicked his ass."

"Are you okay at least?"

Y/N smiled. "Don't worry I'm fine, that fight was child's play."

Yunjin let out a sigh of relief as they began to walk together. "Oh I forgot to ask, how was your meet with Taehyun."

Y/N made a face at the meer mention of his name. "Awful."

Yunjin rolled her eyes. "Oh no why?"

"He's just annoying, besides I'm pretty sure he's a control freak." Y/N gripped her backpack straps.

"Well just get the assignment done fast then you won't have to deal with him anymore."

The two stopped in front of Y/N's literature class. Y/N turned to her friend and sighed. "You're right, anyway I'll see you at lunch."

Yunjin waved goodbye as Y/N entered.

"Oh great you're here." Taehyun said glaring at her.

Y/N rolled her eyes. "I'm not thrilled to see you either stank breath."

"Fine slimy freak."

"Dickwad."

"Wanker."

Suddenly, Mr. Han came in with a tall brown haired student next to him.

"Class this is Park Sunghoon, he just transferred."

Sunghoon bowed and smiled.

"Sunghoon why don't you take a seat." Mr. Han said pointing to an empty seat in front of Taehyun's and Y/N's desk.

He nodded and took a seat as Y/N's eyes examined him.

Taehyun looked over at her and rolled his eyes. "Quit eyeing him, he's way out of your league."

Y/N elbowed him hard in the ribs. "I'm not interested in him you idiot!" She whisper yelled.

Taehyun rubbed his side as he glared at her.

"I hope everyone is progressing nicely on their projects." Mr. Han said. "Oh and Sunghoon you can work with Jake, he'll fill you in on the assignment."

Sunghoon nodded as Mr. Han began his lecture.

After Class:

Taehyun was the first one out the door to get away from Y/N's "sparkling" personality.

Y/N was busy packing her notes and textbooks when the new kid Sunghoon came up to her and waved.

Y/N looked up and gave him a weird face. "Can I help you?"

Sunghoon extended his hand. "I'm Sunghoon."

Y/N shifted her backpack onto one shoulder and shook his hand. "Y/N."

"I heard you arguing with your seat mate."

Y/N laughed. "Yeah he and I aren't exactly the greatest friends."

Sunghoon laughed too. "I can see that. Hey would you mind giving me a tour? I was supposed to meet with this guy named Beomgyu but he never showed."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Guess laziness runs in their whole circle."

"What?"

Y/N smiled. "Oh nothing and sure I'll give you a tour."

Sunghoon thanked her as they walked out together.

An Hour Later:

"And that's the cafeteria, oh and one suggestion, don't eat the meatloaf on meatloaf Fridays." Y/N said looking up at the male.

Sunghoon raised a brow. "Wait why?"

Y/N leaned closer. "From what I've heard, it's not actual meatloaf."

Sunghoon made a face. "Noted."

"Hey Y/N who's this?" Yunjin asked walking up to the pair.

Y/N turned to her friend as she looked at Sunghoon. "This is Sunghoon."

Yunjin shook Sunghoon's hand.

"Yeah I just transferred here so I'm still getting used to where everything is."

Yunjin snorted. "Well I'm sure you'll do better than Y/N. She was attending the wrong class for a month before realizing her degree doesn't even require Ancient World Civilization."

Y/N fumed. "I wouldn't have done that if Taehyun actually showed up and showed me where my classes were."

"Wait so that's why you two don't get along?" Sunghoon questioned.

"You'd be correct." Y/N sighed. Her phone dinged as she took it out from her pocket. It was from Taehyun informing her that Kai got information on who could possibly be stealing money.

"Hey guys I've got to go." Y/N said shoving her phone back into her pocket.

"What about lunch?" Yunjin asked.

Y/N scrunched her nose. "I think I'll pass." She waved bye to her friends and left the guys dorm,

At the Dorm;

"Alright I'm here, what's this all about." Y/N said walking in and dropping her bag.

"Woah woah she's working with us now!?" Yeonjun questioned,

Taehyun nodded. "Yes, have a problem?"

The four boys nodded.

Taehyun rolled his eyes. "Why?"

Beomgyu looked at Y/N. "She's scary."

Y/N rose her fists and took a step towards them.

Beomgyu let out a high pitched scream and hid behind Soobin.

Taehyun held out his arm to stop Y/N. "That's enough, let's get started."

Kai slid a photograph of a blurry image of a man.

"This was taken outside one the national banks around 2am by a security camera." Kai informed the group.

Y/N took a step forward and examined the photo. "That guy has the same tattoo as the guy I fought yesterday."

Taehyun took a closer look. "You're right, he's got the same snake on the right side of his neck."

"Whoever those guys are working for are probably stealing the money." Y/N said crossing her arms.

The boys nodded before Kai spoke up. "So where is that guy that attacked Y/N?"

Y/N let out a breathy laugh. "This genius told him to leave town."

"What!?" The four boys screamed at Taehyun.

Taehyun sighed. "Look I didn't know he was apart of this!"

"Great we were about to move to square two but now were stuck at square one." Beomgyu complained flopping back into the couch.

Yeonjun crossed his arms. "Oh by the way, who was that new kid in your literature class?"

"Oh that's Sunghoon, I guess he's just transferred here." Taehyun replied, before looking at Y/N. "And Y/N seems to have taken an interest in him."

Y/N rolled her eyes.

"Really?" Soobin asked a little awkwardly.

"I do not like him okay! Jeez." She said giving Taehyun a death glare.

Taehyun shrugged before joining Beomgyu on the couch.

The Next Day:

Y/N was walking with Yeonjun as they went to his locker.

"I never took you as the 'use your locker' type." Y/N said as they stopped.

"Uh where else am I supposed to store my snacks?" Yeonjun said as he opened his locker to reveal the entire thing stuffed with chips.

Y/N made a face as he got out a snack bag and closed up his locker. "Hey has Taehyun found anything else about the guys stealing from the banks?"

Yeonjun shook his head. "No, it's been a lot harder finding clues, I think he wants us to go to the bann- puppy park!"

"Huh?" Y/N said as Yeonjun pointed behind her,

"Hey guys!" Sunghoon said with a smile.

"Oh Hey Sunghoon, what's up?" Y/N asked.

"Nothing, just getting some books for my next class." He said opening up his locker and taking out a few textbooks.

"I didn't know we had lockers next to each other." Yeonjun said.

"Well you do now." Y/N said in a sarcastic tone.

"I'll check up with you guys later." Sunghoon said before leaving.

"Oh my god I almost just revealed our plan." Yeonjun let out a breath.

Y/N patted his shoulder. "Yeah you almost fucked up."

Yeonjun gave her a look as she took out her phone and looked at the time. "We'll I've got to go. I'm blowing up watermelons with Beomgyu in Chemistry."

"Oh cool bye, wait what?" Yeonjun said as the girl left.

In Literature with Taehyun and Y/N:

"Psst!"

Taehyun perked his head up.

"Pssstttt!"

He looked around.

"Taehyun!" Y/N whisper-yelled elbowing him hard in the side.

"Ow!" Taehyun said glaring at her.

"Shut up!" Y/N she said bringing her finger to her lips.

"What do you want!?" Taehyun whisper-yelled back.

"Are we meeting after school?" She asked.

"Seriously! You elbowed me for that!?"

"I don't want people knowing I associate with you." She crossed her arms over her chest.

Taehyun gave her a 'are you serious' look. "He literally announced the groups in front of everyone!"

"Whatever, who pissed in your coffee this morning." Y/N said looking forward again.

Taehyun clenched his fists trying his best not to strangle her.

Sunghoon turned around and looked at the two. "Hey are you guys going to the library later?"

Y/N looked over at him. "Probably."

"Cool, could I join you?" He asked looking at Taehyun.

Taehyun shrugged. "I guess so."

Sunghoon smiled. "Thanks." He said before turning back around.

After School:

"Where's Sunghoon? I thought he said he wanted to go to the library with us." Y/N said as Taehyun and her walked inside.

"Maybe he bailed." Taehyun said.

"Hey guys!" Sunghoon said startling the two.

"Wha! Sunghoon I didn't even see you come in." Y/N said placing a hand where her heart is.

"Oh I got here early, sorry I didn't tell you."

Taehyun patted his back. "It's fine man."

"I grabbed us a table." Sunghoon said leading them over to it.

Taehyun and Y/N set down their stuff and took a seat. The pair took out their report and began working.

"Oh I see you guys got the mafia topic huh." Sunghoon said looking at the two.

"Yeah what did you get?" Y/N asked.

"I'm researching the history of Korean pop. Though I think I'll be the only one working on this project." Sunghoon said laughing awkwardly.

Y/N tilted her head. "Awe how come?"

"Well umm Jake isn't exactly the best partner."

Y/N snickered. "I could've told you that."

Sunghoon laughed a little with her as they went back to working. Quite a bit of time had passed and it was getting late.

Taehyun tried to find time to talk to Y/N about leaving but every time he went to open his mouth, Sunghoon began talking.

Finally an opportunity presented itself.

"I'll be back guys." Sunghoon said getting up to leave to find some books.

Taehyun looked over at Y/N and nudged her, a little too hard.

"Ow! What?" She asked glaring at him.

"We have to leave to meet the guys soon, we're checking out the banks."

"Fine just don't nudge me ever again shitface." She said beginning to pack up her stuff.

"Woah where are you guys going?" Sunghoon asked walking over.

Both Y/N and Taehyun panicked.

"We're going to the mall/beach." They said at the same time.

"You're going to the mall and the beach?" Sunghoon asked confused.

"Yes there's a mall..." Taehyun started.

"With a beach inside!" Y/N finished.

"Oh wow that sounds awesome, mind if I come?"

"NO!" They both screamed.

"Heh we mean no, because-" Y/N panicked more.

"It's a date!" Taehyun said.

Y/N smiled. "Yeah it's a- What now?" She said looking at Taehyun with disgust.

"But I thought you didn't like hi-"

"Okay gotta go now byeee!" Taehyun said grabbing Y/N's hand and dragging her out.

"What the hell man!? A date are you serious? You couldn't have thought of anything else." Y/N said crossing her arms.

"I had to get us out of there quickly. You can tell him how horrible it was tomorrow, let's go." Taehyun said rolling his eyes.

"Fine jerk face, I'd never go on a date with you anyways." Y/N pouted and followed.

At the Entrance to the Bank:

"Finally you two showed up." Soobin said standing with the others.

"Sorry a certain someone told another certain someone that we were going on a date to a mall that doesn't exist!" Y/N said glaring at the boy.

"You act like you didn't contribute to any of that." Taehyun argued back.

"That's because I didn't!" Y/N hissed.

"You know what you little shit!" Taehyun yelled back.

"GUYS!" Yeonjun screamed gaining their attention. "Let's just do what we came here to do, yeah?"

Both of them sighed before glaring at one another as they tried the front door.

"Locked." Soobin said turning to the group.

"We can try to the back entrance. If that doesn't work we're gonna have to break into the air vents and crawl our way inside." Kai said looking around.

"Let's try the back." Taehyun said as the group rushed over to the back of the building.

Once they were at the back, Taehyun gripped the handle and tried to open the door. "Damnit it's locked!"

"Guess its the vents then." Y/N sighed.

The group walked over to an air vent door.

"Step back, I got this." Taehyun said before twisting his body in the air and kicking the vent as hard as he could. The metal covering the entrance inside came off. He smirked and removed it before inviting the others to join him.

They crawled through vents and looked for any light source to could lead to getting out of the vents.

"Taehyun over there." Kai pointed to a dim light emanating to the right.

Taehyun crawled over and peered down. "It's the main room."

"Finally can we get out of this vent! Something smells fishy." Yeonjun said plugging his nose.

"That would be me." Beomgyu smirked.

Y/N made a disgusted face. "Lovely."

Taehyun took the top off the vent and set it aside. He took in a breath and slipped out of the vent. It was quite a fall, but thankfully he landed just fine.

Kai peered his head down as Taehyun gave a thumbs up.

One by one everyone began to slip out. Y/N was the last one as she wasted no time leaving the cramped space.

She landed like the others except she lost her footing once her feet touched the floor. She stumbled back like she would fall before Taehyun grabbed her hand and pulled her up.

Y/N looked at him and glared before snatching her hand out of his grip.

Soobin dug into the bag he had with him and took out a flashlight. He turned it on and traced the room with it.

"Let's hurry." Taehyun said as everyone spread out.

Y/N walked behind the tellers booth and began searching for anything she could find.

Kai sat down at a computer and turned it on. "I'll pull up the bank's transaction records to see if this person has taken anything else out."

Taehyun nodded and continued searching.

Just then, the lights flickered on and a group of about five men bursted into the bank.

The gang looked up to see the large buff dudes with the small snake tattoo on each of their bodies.

"It's an ambush!" Yeonjun yelled.

Taehyun turned to Kai. "Kai keep looking, we'll take care of these guys." He looked at Y/N who already had her fists up.

"Heh we aren't gonna be fighting." The one in the middle said as they all pulled out their guns.

Everyone was quick to take cover as they began firing.

Taehyun dove behind a group of waiting couches as Y/N, Soobin, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu hid in the teller booths.

Kai kept his cover but continued looking for clues.

"You guys are in the mafia, why didn't you bring guns!?" She hissed as she quickly moved her head away to avoid a shot.

"Y/N that's not important right now!" Beomgyu yelled back.

"No use hiding." Another man said.

Taehyun looked around and noticed a glass table with a small decor vase. He carefully made his way over to it and snatched the vase off the table.

The men were getting closer to the teller booths.

Y/N looked up and grabbed the first thing her hand found before ducking back down. She heard a man approaching where she was.

She smirked looking at the stapler she had before opening it. The man slid his hand across the table as Y/N jumped up and stapled it to the table.

"Ow you bitch!" The man screeched.

Y/N took that opportunity and jumped onto the table before kicking the guy in the face. He groaned as she snatched his gun and ran to take cover on the other side of waiting couches.

Taehyun noticed one man getting close to Kai. He swiftly made his way over and chucked the vase at the guy, it hit him in the side of head, making him bleed.

"Kai hurry!" Taehyun yelled as he put up his fists and began to kick the guy.

"I'm trying!" Kai yelled back.

"Yeonjun, Soobin, give him cover!" Taehyun yelled doing a backflip and kicking the guy in the chin.

The man lost his grip on his gun as Taehyun grabbed it and slid it to Soobin.

Y/N checked the bullets in the gun. "Crap only one more!" She said.

Her eyes darted to the other three men completely unharmed so far.

She aimed the gun at one of the guy's hand holding his gun as she shot. The bullet impaled the gun instead of the guy's hand.

Y/N tossed the gun aside and approached the guy.

"You're gonna pay for that!" He said going to punch her.

Y/N ducked and kicked his stomach.

The guy grabbed her ankle and flipped her, but she landed on her feet. He went in and kicked her in the gut which sent her stumbling back.

Taehyun notice this and came rushing over. He kicked the guy's back making him turned around as Y/N took an opportunity and grabbed a glass pencil cup holder off one of the teller's desks and smashing it over the guy's head.

He fell unconscious as Taehyun and Y/N looked at each other before separating to fight the remaining two.

Beomgyu was busy hiding from one of the guy's firing a string of shots at him. He tumbled over one of the other teller booths and missed a shot just in time.

He grabbed a pencil and just as the guy came around the corner, he stabbed his arm and kicked the guy in the face.

The guy groaned in pain as he punched Beomgyu in the face.

Yeonjun saw and came over before kicking the guy's legs out from under him.

Beomgyu grabbed the gun out of the guy's hand and pointed it at him as a threat.

Taehyun was busy fighting the now last guy as he gripped the counter behind him and kicked the guy in the gut with both legs sending him flying back.

The man went to aim his gun at Taehyun as Y/N gripped his arm and swung her leg around as it collided with the gun making it drop.

Taehyun rushed over and jumped up before connecting his foot with the guy's face making him go unconscious.

The pair panted as they looked at each other before looking around.

"Everyone okay?" Taehyun shouted.

"We're fine!" Soobin said as Yeonjun gave a thumbs up.

Y/N wiped some of the guy's blood that got on her off as they walked over to Kai.

"You get anything?" She asked.

Kai looked up as Taehyun joined her side.

"I've got something, and it's huge."

Taehyun and Y/N looked at each other again.

"Let's hear it then."
