Y/N woke up later that night in the hospital. The nurses had cleaned up all the blood and wrapped her hand.

She sat up and winced feeling a throbbing pain in her head.

The nurse in her room turned around and smiled. "Good you're awake. How do you feel?" She asked.

Y/N rubbed her tired eyes a little. "My head hurts."

"I'll get the doctor." She left room and returned with the doctor.

"I'm Dr. Lee. It seems you've suffered a mild concussion as well as a sprained arm. You'll be fine to leave tomorrow, but I suggest you take it easy for at least two weeks."

Y/N made a face. "How are my friends?"

"You mean the boy that was in the ambulance with you?" The doctor asked making Y/N nod her head.

"He woke up about 15 minutes ago. He's got a few fractures to his ribs and a sprained ankle, other than that he's okay."

Y/N let out a breath of relief as she thanked the doctor. The nurse and doctor both left shortly after discussing the medication Y/N needed to take to speed up her healing process.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Y/N? The doctor said you were up." It was Sunghoon.

"Yeah I am." Her voice still raspy.

Sunghoon walked in with some bandages on his hands as well as one across his cheek where he was cut.

"How ya doing?" He asked taking a seat at one of the chairs near the wall.

"Like shit. My head is pounding." She closed her eyes and clenched her head in her hands.

"Well squeezing your brain isn't going to help." Sunghoon teased.

Y/N opened her eyes and glared at him. "I'll be fine in a few days. The doctor said I need to 'take it easy' but I can't do that."

Sunghoon frowned. "Actually Y/N, I spoke to Taehyun and he's forcing you to take a leave of absence from fighting."

"What!?" Y/N shouted making Sunghoon stand up to shush her.

"He's really worried about you! This is the second time you've been in the hospital because of Yuka members."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "It's just a few bruises and sprain. I need to keep fighting."

Sunghoon shook his head. "I'm afraid Taehyun's not going to allow that, he seemed real pissed when he woke up."

Y/N sighed and flopped back against her pillow. "I'll talk to him later, anyway any updates on whether you're a member or not?"

Sunghoon smiled. "Well due the events of tonight and my bravery, I've been welcomed to the mafia!"

Y/N laughed. "Well congratulations, you're gonna have one hell of a time." She looked at the door before turning back to Sunghoon. "Where is Taehyun?"

"Oh his father heard what happened and came rushing over to scold him. I believe they're done with their conversation now, so you want me to bring him over here?"

Y/N nodded as Sunghoon got up. A few minutes, Taehyun walked in.

He was shirtless with bandages wrapped around his chest. His face was bruised along with his hands.

"Glad to see you're up." He said crossing his arms.

Y/N looked at him. "I heard you're forcing me to take a break from fighting."

Taehyun nodded. "I can't risk having you end up in the hospital for a third time."

Y/N shook her head. "I signed up for that possibility when I said I first wanted to join! I should be out there fighting."

Taehyun's jaw clenched. "Like I said, I can't risk anything."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Unbelievable." She reached over to the desk beside which had a cup up water.

She winced and Taehyun noticed. He walked over and handed her the cup of water before sitting on her beside.

"Y/N just listen to me for once, it's better for you to rest."

Y/N looked at him as she drank her water. Taehyun took the cup and set it back on the table.

"I'll be fine. But I have to show you something." She said and pointed over to her clothes that were neatly folded up on a bench in the corner of the room. "In my pants pocket there's a piece of paper I took during the fight."

Taehyun got up and went over to her clothes before digging his hands into the pockets and pulling out the crumbled piece of paper.

"I'm assuming it got knocked when Yuka broke the table."

Taehyun unscrambled the paper began to read over it. His eyes widened. "So he was making a deal that traitor, this proves it."

Y/N placed her hands in front of her. "What does it say?"

Taehyun walked back over to her. "This is a contract between Yuka and president of Korea's national bank to wave over 500 million dollars into Yuka's possession."

"Wow, what does he need all that money for? He's already rich." Y/N asked as Taehyun handed her the document.

"This doesn't make any sense. He keeps having money withdrawn from an unknown source. It's weird that he's making deals with the bank's President."

Y/N put the paper down. "Well whatever he's planning, it sure as hell involves too much money."

"I need to have Kai check the other bank records again. But meanwhile you're going to be resting." Taehyun smirked.

Y/N rolled her eyes. "You can't control me."

Taehyun walked over to her and placed both hands on either side of her head as he got close. "You wanna bet?"

Y/N's heart beat quickened as she stared up at him. Her good hand pushed his face away from hers.

"My wounds heal fast, I'll be back to kicking ass in no time." She said crossing her arms.

Taehyun rolled his eyes as he snatched the piece of paper off the bed. "Well good work taking this. I'm going to schedule a little meeting with the president."

Y/N watched him stuff the piece of paper into pocket of his pants as he made his way to the door.

"Rest well." He said before turning the knob and leaving.

Y/N sighed as she tired to calm herself. Her face felt hot.

"Gosh I hate him."

A Few Days Later:

It was now Friday and Y/N was at the library. She missed quite a bit of school and was catching up on her missed assignments.

She yawned and leaned her head against her palm as she dropped her pencil.

"I need a break." She got up and walked over to the science fiction section and grabbed the first book she saw. The cover read, 'The Undead's Rising Volume 1'.

Y/N shrugged and returned to her table. She sat down on her chair before getting comfortable. She opened the book and began to read.

Her eyelids grew heavy and she fought to stay awake. However, Y/N was weak and slowly drifted off.

Y/N awoke on the ground of her literature classroom.

Everything looked destroyed and abandoned.

"Huh? What's going on?" She looked down and noticed her bandages were gone.

Y/N bent her arm and felt no pain. "Weird..." she said heading towards the door. She left and gasped seeing the school was completely destroyed. Parts of the ceilings had collapsed letting in some light and the floor was covered in this dried up black liquid.

Suddenly, Sunghoon, Beomgyu, and Taehyun came bursting in.

"Y/N did you find the supplies?" Sunghoon asked.

Y/N made a face. "Huh? What supplies? And what happened to the school!?"

"What do you mean 'what happened to the school' it was destroyed when the outbreak happened." He replied.

Y/N was completely lost. "What outbreak?"

"The zombie outbreak, duh." Beomgyu said.

"Zombies? You've got to be joking." Y/N scoffed.

Sunghoon crossed his arms. "This is serious Y/N, quit playing games."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "I'm not playing for shit. You're the one making up ridiculous lies."

"I'm back." A feminine voice said as a girl walked through the same doors that the boys came through.

"Did you find any supplies?" Sunghoon asked turning to the girl.

She shook her head. "Didn't make it far, too many zombies."

Y/N narrowed her eyes at the girl. "Who are you?"

The girl put a hand on her hip. "Huh?" She looked at the boys. "What's wrong with her?"

"She's suffering from amnesia, I'm assuming it's from the expired cookie I gave her yesterday-" Beomgyu said.

"You did what!?" Y/N grit her teeth glaring at him. She walked over and balled her hands into his shirt.

"I-it was a joke I swear!" He panicked before Taehyun came over and separated at the two.

"Y/N that's Missy." Taehyun said looking away at her.

Y/N looked at her. "Ooo you're right." She said going up to her. "You're the annoying girl in my linear algebra class."

Missy gasped. "How rude! Tell her that was rude Taehyun." She said walking over to him.

Taehyun didn't say anything as Sunghoon pinched the bridge of his nose. "Focus people! Y/N can you really not remember anything?"

"What am I supposed to be remembering? Because one minute I was in the library and now I'm here." Y/N said crossing her arms.

Taehyun was about to answer her when screeching sounds alerted the five.

"Shit the zombies are coming!" Sunghoon said.

"Wait you were telling the truth!?" Y/N shouted seeing the dead freaks pile against the door. Their faces distorted with black ooze dripping from their eyes and mouths.

"Y/N not the time!" Taehyun said pulling out his gun.

"Oh so you have a gun now but not when we're fighting Yuka! What is wrong with you!?" Y/N said putting up her fists.

"Y/N!" Sunghoon shouted as he rolled his eyes.

"What it's serious question!" She argued back.

"We should feed her to the zombies!" Missy said.

Y/N glared at her as the zombies broke through the door. Taehyun began shooting at them making the first row fall down.

Other zombies began to trip over the newly dead ones. Some slipped past Taehyun's parade of bullets.

A loud bang came from the other side as more zombies pressed against the window opposite of the door.

Y/N turned around and narrowed her eyes at the zombies as they broke through the window and began to pile inside.

"Uh guys! We have a situation!" She said as one came rushing at her. She kicked it back as more came at her.

Taehyun stopped shooting as he tapped his gun. "I'm out of bullets!" He yelled using the gun and wacked one in the face.

Y/N bent backwards to avoid a swipe from a zombie. "Can someone tell me what the fuck is going on!? She moved upright again and punched it in the face.

"We need to get out of here!" Sunghoon said kicking one in the face.

"Yeah no shit!" Y/N argued back.

"Y/N kick these with me." Taehyun said as the girl turned. He held his arms out as she nodded and ran over. She jumped up as he held her waist. He moved her body as she kicked the zombies on either side.

Taehyun put her down. As Missy did a high kick. "Hey why'd you pick her up!?" She yelled.

"This is not the time for that!" Taehyun yelled back moving Y/N out of the way to punch a zombie trying to get to her.

"I'm your girlfriend! You shouldn't be touching anyone but me!"

"Hold up you two are dating!?" Y/N said before turning Taehyun around and moving him down before kicking over his head. She nailed a zombie right in the face.

"Can we please not do this right now!" Taehyun yelled.

"You have a girlfriend and you never told me!?" Y/N yelled.

"She's not my girlfriend! Shit watch out!" Taehyun yelled tackling Y/N to the floor.

"Excuse me! What do you mean I'm not your girlfriend!?" Missy shoved a zombie into a wall.

"Can you all shut up!" Sunghoon groaned doing a karate chop the top of a zombie's head.

Y/N got out from under Taehyun before she grabbed his shirt and yanked him back up. "You have a lot of explaining to do!" She glared at him.

Taehyun looked back at her before grabbing her shoulders and moving her aside as he punched a zombie back. "After this!"

Y/N shoved Taehyun making him stumble as she did a back flip to dodge an attack. She did a reverse back kick which sent two zombies flying into a row of lockers.

She panted before looking at Taehyun.

"Duck!" He yelled as she did so. Taehyun snapped off the leg of one of the dead zombies and chucked it a zombie trying to creep up behind Y/N.

"Guys I think I know where an exit is!" Beomgyu yelled dodging a zombie.

"That would've been great information to know like five minutes ago!" Y/N yelled grabbing the arm of a zombie before smashing her leg down on it.

"Follow me!" Beomgyu yelled as the group turned to him. He ran deeper into the school as the others followed suit. Taehyun went behind Y/N as they ran.

Beomgyu took them to a different classroom where the window was partially smashed.

Sunghoon and Taehyun shut the door behind them and pressed against to keep the zombies from getting inside.

"We need to break the glass!" Missy yelled.

Y/N began to look around before she noticed a rod hanging from the ceiling. It looked brittle enough.

"I've got this." She said getting a running start. She kicked off the wall on her right before jumping up and grabbing the rod. It came off with ease as she rolled back on the floor.

"Stand back!" She twisted the rod in the air before smashing it into the glass. A few pieces flew back making small cuts on her face.

"Let's go!" She yelled as Missy was the first to jump out. Beomgyu followed after as Sunghoon and Taehyun let go of the door. A huge hoard of zombies came crashing in.

"Go, GO!" Taehyun yelled as Y/N crawled out then the other two boys.

They met up with the others as they began to run. The place was crawling with zombies making things ten times harder.

Y/N was still carrying the rod as she used it to slash at any zombies trying to get in their way.

The group ran all the way to the science building before Taehyun and Sunghoon slammed the doors shut.

Everyone panted and caught their breath as Taehyun and Sunghoon pulled away from the door.

Suddenly, a ding came from Sunghoon's pocket. He pulled out a boxy looking phone with an antenna at the top.

"It's the scientist! He wants to discuss a possible cure." Sunghoon said shoving the phone back into his pocket.

"The scientist? Who's that?" Y/N asked crossing her arms.

Missy rolled her eyes. "It's Choi Yeonjun, the master mind who's going to save us all, duh."

Y/N snickered. "Since when is Yeonjun smart."

Taehyun crossed his arms. "Come on we should head there quickly."

Everyone agreed as Y/N stuck out her tongue at Missy making her gasp.

"Oh this bitch!" Missy hissed as everyone left.

At Yeonjun's Secret Lab:

"Wow when you said Yeonjun had a high tech secret lab, I thought you meant this big fantastic building, not an abandoned strip club." Y/N crossed her arms.

"Well it's the only place he could find." Taehyun said as they stepped inside.

"Well isn't that interesting." Y/N rolled her eyes.

The place was covered in neon lights as well as random chem beakers.

"AHA you're here!" A frantic Yeonjun came out with his hair looking like he got electrocuted.

Sunghoon stepped forward. "What is this possible cure?"

"Come come! Quickly!" He said waddling over to his lab table with different chemicals in tests tubes as well as certain liquids boiling.

"Is this guy on drugs?" Y/N whispered to Taehyun making him glare at her.

"Behold! I present to you humanities savior!" Yeonjun yelled before pulling off a sheet to reveal a jar of nothing.

"Yup he's definitely on crack or something." Y/N said bluntly making Taehyun elbow her in the side.

"Oh wait wrong one." Yeonjun turned around before revealing a jar with a bright purple liquid inside. "BEHOLD! This substance will be able to penetrate the virus deep inside the zombies and cure them."

"How will we get this to the zombies though?" Beomgyu asked.

Yeonjun set the jar down. "Wellll we need to sneak into the zombie's lair."

"What! Why?" Sunghoon crossed his arms.

"They stole my humidifier! If I can pour this liquid inside of it and start it up, then the vapor will enter the zombie's bodies and cure them." Yeonjun said giving Sunghoon a face.

"It's way too risky! That place is covered in zombies." Missy added.

"We have no other choice. We need to try." Taehyun said.

"I still don't know what's going on." Y/N shrugged.

"Let's go!" Sunghoon said before he was stopped by the sound of screeching and hissing.

"Oh no! You fools how could you lead the zombies to my secret lab!?" Yeonjun said protecting his jar.

"Your 'secret lab' is a strip club!" Y/N yelled at him as the zombies broke inside.

"We can discuss the ethics of Yeonjun's lab choices
later!" Taehyun yelled back before kicking a zombie away.

"Protect Yeonjun! He has the jar!" Sunghoon said moving in front of him.

"Okay yeah I figured!" Y/N sassed as she spun around and kicked two back.

Taehyun punched one in the face before grabbing an empty beaker behind him and smashing it against another zombie's head.

"NOOOOOO NOT MILLY!" Yeonjun cried. "She was my favorite!"

Y/N ducked as Missy kicked a zombie into her direction. She stood up and glared at her. "What the hell!"

"Oops sorry didn't see ya there." She smirked punching one.

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Didn't see me my foot!" She looked over and saw Yeonjun backing away from a zombie.

He tripped over a chair as the zombie went to bite him.

"Stand back!" Y/N shouted before running over and smashing the rod across the zombie's head making it fly off.

Beomgyu getting cornered by a group of zombies as well.

"Help!" He yelled out as one bit him.

"No Beomgyu!" Taehyun rushed over but it was too late, he was already infected.

"Taehyun we have to leave! The zombies are distracted!" Sunghoon called out.

Y/N could see Taehyun hesitating but he reluctantly left his friend.

The rest of the group rushed out of the lab as the zombies turned Beomgyu into one of them.

"Where is the zombie's lair?" Y/N panted as they ran.

"It's at another strip club in the north!" Yeonjun yelled back.

"Another one!?" Y/N was baffled.

"Keep moving!" Sunghoon yelled.

At the Zombie's Lair:

"Remember to stay quiet. If we wake them we're done." Sunghoon said as everyone else nodded.

"The humidifier should be on the highest level." Yeonjun said as they crept around.

Taehyun looked at Y/N who was rubbing her arms. He moved closer to try and comfort her. There were many sleeping dead freaks around, making everyone a bit uneasy.

Missy saw this. Jealous burned inside her as she moved to the other side of Y/N. She 'accidentally' tripped her making Y/N fall onto the floor.

The noise caused the zombies to stir.

"Missy!" Taehyun whisper yelled as the zombies woke up.

Everyone heard the familiar groaning as the zombies locked onto the five.

"Great!" Taehyun yelled with frustration as he grabbed Y/N and helped her up.

"You guys take Yeonjun to the upper floor! I'll handle the zombies." Sunghoon said putting up his fists.

"But Sunghoon-" Missy began.

"Go!" He urged.

"Come on!" Y/N said as they all left with Yeonjun up the stairs.

"This way!" Yeonjun shouted as they reached the top floor.

Taehyun closed the door to the room as Yeonjun rushed over to the large humidifier. It was connected to the roof to blow the vapor.

Y/N crossed her arms. "Are you going to explain yourself?" She asked Missy.

Missy rolled her eyes. "It was just a little trip in my footing, get over it."

Y/N clenched her fist. "Oh I'm about to do a lot more than trip you in a sec-"

"Ladies!" Taehyun said getting between the two.

"I've installed the solution!" Yeonjun shouted as everyone rushed over. Suddenly, the door busted down with a
