There is a wedding taking place today and I am so crampy but I figure it's just Braxton hicks and I can make it through the wedding and if need be I can just sit down.

I called Whitney into my office and when she shut the door I whispered. "I am feeling crampy today but I don't think that I am in labor yet."

"Yet?" Whitney had big eyes.

"Well if you see me sit down in the back of the ceremony you know what is happening and not to be alarmed."

"Are you sure? Why don't you go home I can handle this wedding on my own Chesney."

"I can't let you do that Whitney. My mom threw all of this on you and I refuse to do that. I want to do it with you."

"That's why I love you. I hate your mom died but I am so glad that you are here now."

We hug and she walks back out front and I try to breathe and count to make sure that I am not in labor.

I go to the bathroom and take a look at my face and it's so flush and I feel crazy for even being here but I can't leave Whitney alone.

I pick up my phone and call Clay.

☎️ Sis you ok?
☎️ I am having a lot of Braxton hicks today and I don't want to leave Whit alone. Think you could come help?
☎️ I can do that. Do I need to dress up?

☎️ Yeah, that is a must. So put on your best suit and get here in case I need to leave.
☎️ Be there soon.
☎️ Thanks, Clay. I love you!
☎️ I love you too sis.

I hang up the phone and decided to text Stone but before I can my door opened and when I look up he was rushing in.

"What are you doing here Stone?"

"Whit called me. Are you in labor?"

"No just Braxton hicks but I did call Clay to come in and help Whitney for a just in case."

"Come on why don't we just get out of here I know that you don't feel good."

"I have to at least wait until Clay gets here."

"Ok, then I will sit here with you." He smiled.

This is one of the many reasons I love this man. I smiled at him before grimacing in pain.

"I am worried. Will you at least let me take you to get you checked out?"

"Stone I am ok he told me that I would get Braxton hicks close to the end of my pregnancy and I am pretty sure that's all that it is."

"Alright well, can we go over to moms? She wanted to see you today she had something made for Sadie."

"Sure I love gifts." I smile.

Clay walked in with a suit on and I couldn't help but smile. "You look handsome."

"Thanks, sis. You guys go on I will help Whitney with everything and don't worry."

I hug Clay before walking out to my car. "I will follow you over there ok?"

"Are you sure you are ok to drive?"

"Stone your parent's house isn't that far away."

"Ok, I will follow you there then." He sighed.

We pull up and Alan and Bonnie are sitting on the porch and before I can open my car door Stone is right there helping me out of the car.

"Stone I am pregnant, not helpless."

"I know Ches but I am worried just let me take care of you ok?"

"I know it's because you love me so I will let it go." I smiled at him.

"Oh goodness, my poor dear Chesney you look terrible," Bonnie said standing up to hug me.

"I am having Braxton hicks and this one thinks I am in labor." I laugh.

"I am worried so sue me." He shrugged.

"Stone will you go in and get that gift off of the couch for me?"

"Sure mom."

I sit down beside Bonnie and tried to calm down how I was feeling.

Stone walks out of the house with a big bag and Bonnie motioned for him to hand it to me.

"You take it out of the bag for me since I can't see my feet Stone." I laughed.

He pulled it out and it was the cutest pink and green blanket that said Sadie with bunnies all over it.

"Oh gosh I love it so much Bonnie thank you! She will get a lot of use out of it."

"I had to get her something with a bunny on it and I know that Clay is already calling her his little bunny."

I smile. "He has been and he is so excited like the rest of us are."

I rub my stomach and try to calm the Braxton hicks down.

"I made lunch if you guys want to come inside." Bonnie smiled.

Stone helped me into the house and to the table. He pulled my chair out and helped me to set down before kissing my head. "Are you ok?"

"I am thank you." I smiled.

"I made chicken and dumplings I hope you like that dear."

"Oh yes, that would be lovely Bonnie." I smiled.

Stone helped his mom get all of the food on the table and the pain was just getting worse and worse and I am hoping it calms down.

We sit and eat and everyone is talking but I am just zoned out because the pain is horrendous.

I had almost finished my dumplings when a really sharp pain hit. "Stone I am not sure but I think I may be in labor."

"Holy shit! Sorry, mom."

"What's going on?"

"I think I am in labor."

"Stone help her up and let's get her to the car but call your doctor on the way," Bonnie said.

Poor Stone basically picked me up out of the chair and got me into the car and then called Dr. Nickels.
