"Mel. Mel. Mel wake up"I felt hands on my back. I look up at my boyfriend who was one sentinels.

He makes sure to ensure that the pack is safe by patrolling the territory and watching the movements of the surroundings.

They are to make sure that no intruders enter the clearing. In doing so, it is a sentinel's responsibility to greet new visitors and learn why they are here and where they come from.

Being in that position, it is the sentinel's job to make sure each new visitor that comes into the clearing has good intentions as well. When the sentinel is not present within the clearing or if there is none, the greeting responsibilities go to all adult pack members.

Sentinels also make sure that the pack members keep themselves out of trouble, and that means no fights break out between visiting werewolves (or other pack members), warning them of the rules.

After the warning, the sentinel may penalize continual aggressiveness or provoking werewolves out of the pack. If this does happen they are to report to their alpha and/or beta and inform them about what has occurred.   

His name is Alfred. I love his name. It makes me feel so good saying it. Not in sex but just out loud. "Al, why you woke me up?"

"What time you have to go to Yellowstone?"Alfred ask me as he took off his belt.

"At 10 in the morning"I said.

"I hate him"Alfred mumble.

"Hate who?"I ask.

"Maynard, why he doing this to you?"Alfred ask.

"Al, I made some terrible mistakes back then. One of them is me working for Maynard as a maid"I said.

"Tell me your story"Alfred started sharping his weapon. I sigh while looking at the weapon then his nappy head.

"Back then........"

¤Flashback to 2006¤

"Okay Melanie, where is the Melanin Pack?"my father Abu ask.

"Over there, pass the river where the hunters hunt fish at"I pointed.

"Good job. And Yellowstone?"he ask.

I took a minute to remember. Where is it? I don't remember.

"She don't know abu, leave her alone"my mother Mary said.

"She needs to know woman"my father was a very strong man. He always wanted me and my mom in his eyes. Nobody else.

My father was a delta.
The delta werewolf is a werewolf in training for beta position. They are third in rank to alpha and beta.

Deltas do not hold the authority to call medium or large hunts. That is a privilege to only ranked alphas, betas, and hunters. Deltas usually become the next Beta after training is complete but one can remain Delta without moving to Beta position.

When this is the case, if ever the current beta is removed from their rank, steps down, changes rank, or leaves the pack, the delta may take the place as the new beta at the alpha's request.

My mother was a salutary. She is the herbal wolf. They heal and take care of the ill and injured. No magic or powers, just herbs and special medicines from resources.

And I was a pup. I love my pack to death. But the alpha was always anti social. The Luna was social. She loved to play with us.

"Okay, time to go home"my mom said.

Me and my family walked home when the alpha came running out with the beta.

"Abu, Yellowstone pack is somewhere near us!!!"the beta said. My dad kiss my mom then my forehead and took off.

"He coming back"my mom said. I walk with her in the house. The Luna came downstairs worried.

"We need you right now"she grab my mom hand and left out the door. What is going on?

I walk to the kitchen seeing the good rouges. They didn't smile at me. Just kept cooking. The senital kept a watchful eye on her.

"What you want pup?"the senital ask.

"Where is Alfred?"I ask.

"Gone with his momma"he said.

"Okay"I nod my head. I walk outside the door then sat down on the steps. It's gone rain. I can feel it.

The time pass bye so quick. It was 8 at night. Where is mommy and daddy? I walk away from the pack house going to the trees. I started to sniff out a smell. It was my father. I followed it for an hour till I stop seeing fire in front me.

"Please let me go!!!"my mother scream. The alpha wasn't no where in sight.

I saw my father body hanging from the tree. I started crying, I didn't notice that I was crying out loud cause my mother then mind link me.

'RUN!' I took off running for my dear life. I went to this river and tried to jump on it but then a man caught me.

"Let me go!!!!"I yelled.

"Lass mich gehen, du Aliens!!"I yelled.

"Put her down!!"I heard a strong voice. I look up to see blue eyes staring at me. "Wer bist du?!"

"Melanie. Mein Name ist Melanie"I said.

"Sie wissen, wer ich bin"he said.

"Alpha Maynard"I said. He smiled for a bit and laugh with his beta and hunters.

He nod his head one last time before saying. "Leg sie in den Keller"the men took to the house. I stared at my mother dead body before screaming out.
