Historical Pictures & Info will be listed here. If you have no idea what annotating is check my first chapter. All definition are there, my friends. I am more capable of doing the last two than any of the others and you'll see it every once in a while through this whole book.
So my annotating of the second of the book.
White men couldn't even use proper grammar back in the day either. Lol!! Look at these gibberish posters it is a wonder anyone could understand their written words there are plenty of words left out, words placed in the wrong sentences and sentences weren't organized into proper paragraphs and were very chopped up, Skylights.
Next morni', first light
I got up extra early and churned the butter for breakfast and helped out in the kitchen the way Aunt Tee 'spects me to every morning'. (26 words within the previous sentence) (Wow what an early riser makes sense though gives her some peace before her crazy days start. ) That gave me a little time to practice my writin' at my spot by the big tree behind the kitchen. (20 words in the previous sentence) Sunrise is a good writin' hour — when all is still and quiet. (12 words in the previous sentence) (So true, I'd be the first up in my family either at my maternal grandparents' home or my paternal grandmother's house just to eat out on the screened in porch in the first house to simply soak in the peace and quiet as I watched the sunlight. It is a very respectful time of day.)
26+20+12=
20+12=32
32+26=58 words in the last paragraph.
I want to tell somebody 'bout all the things I done learned for the past three years. (17 words in previous sentence) (So challenging it is to keep a secret. I have secrets I keep to myself that I will never tell anyone on here or my family because they'd find them so silly. And besides they're more like promises to myself one day.) Words got magic. (3 words in the previous sentence) Every time I read or write a word it puts a picture in my head. (15 words in the previous sentence) (So absolutely true we both have visual learning process where we can instantly visualise the world family and friends around us and what actions we're told to do.)
17+3+15=
17+3=20
20+15=35 words in the last paragraph.
Like when I write H-O-M-E I sees Belmont Plantation and all the people that live here. (16 words in the previous sentence) I sees the Big House where Mas' Henley, Miz Lilly and William stay, livin' easy. (15 words within the previous sentence) I sleep along with Aunt Tee, Uncle Heb, and Hince. (10 words are making up the previous sentence) I sees the Quarters where my friends live, and beyond their cabins, the fields and orchards where they work. (19 words contained in the previous sentence) I sees Aunt Tee cookin' at the fireplace, and the stables where Hince takes care of Mas' Henley's prize racin' horses, and the gardens and grounds that Uncle Heb makes pretty. (31 words within the previous sentence) Home. (1 word sentence) That one li'l word shows me all of that (9 words in the previous sentence) (She has quite the immense imagination, besties.)
(I'm a very proud Ohio born young woman of the United States and my people in that state never believed in the mistreatment of slaves. And they also believed that slaves could earn their freedom. And that is what many of them did in the Northern States slaves were treated more as indentured servants and actually paid for their labor at the end of their service, Skylights. It also happens to be the same state that last year officially declare that Pitbulls were never a dangerous dog breed and I'm so glad that they made that huge statement of a difference. The Pitbull is actually one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met honestly and I've known at least three. One female dog being half Pitbull and boxer mix and the other two my brother's own two beloved Pitbulls the oldest passed away middle of last during one of his seizures and was one of the calmest dogs I ever saw for reals he was super duper calm. As I continue to live in North Carolina there is no way I'm going to forget my Ohio standards, people.
Mas' Henley thinks he owns everything here at Belmont, but he don't own all of me — not really. (18 words in the previous sentence) (Amen, girl that is so true that it can't be any truer or less true.) I know, he can tell me to come and I got to come. (13 words within the previous sentence) When he says do this, I better to do it or he'll put the whip to my back. (18 words made up that last sentence) ( There's a reason why the whip still exists in my story worlds because it is a long used tool to inflict harm and whenever anyone hears or sees it written it literally means that the person holding it and actually using it is not a good person. The whip represents hatred and inferiority to those who fear it, unfortunately. ) But I done learned he can't tell me what to think — and — feel — know. (14 words within that previous sentence) He look at me every day but he cain't own what's inside of me. (14 words make up the previous sentence) (Totally true and I'll have Daphne Bloom's sister quote this in a flashback from My Problems of Negativix book.) Nobody can. (This is essentially what Daphne told Bloom when she totally believed her powers of the Dragonfire were taken away. And it's a two word sentence this diary entry of Clotee's ends on.)
Next Diary entries comin' up, Skylights. Enlightened Anyone?
This history is particular why I like and adore and stand for every single one of Aisha's lines as the African member of the group amongst the Winx Club and daughter of the only high black king in the Magic Dimension she instantly embodies the spiritual endurance of black slaves back in the Civil War Time Period it is a new way of reminding white how much other races have suffered because of our stupid grudge that really should have flamed out long long ago. What I really love about Aisha is she knows and understands her own faults such as leaping to conclusions, and being impulsive and rash and sometimes so upset she can be quite immature such as Season 4 finale. I want to make a note that while Aisha did have a natural conversation with her full team before they went to try to get revenge on Valtor she doesn't have any speaking lines until they are inside Cloudtower I think she was doubtful to tell the girls they might fail or that the girls wouldn't listen to the truth because they were so upset and in this way when Bloom learns the hard way revenge is wrong. She is able to return the favor in Season 4 reminding Aisha that learning the hard way is not always the funnest or easiest route it promises to be. (That's why I gave her a generic statement to introduce your oc in the flashback so as to not disrupt the fact that we don't actually know what Aisha was thinking between the gate and entering Cloudtowe Castle because she never says it out loud.) Aisha is also willing to live and abide with those flaws of hers that have been exposed over the past years too. She is an ode of endurance that continues to live on in the hearts of every black girl and boy. Aisha's tough and stoic because she has to be or others would make fun of her and I've seen plenty of people do that on youtube in the comments. Just because someone's gone bitter during a traumatic event doesn't give anybody the right to vilify them.
