I wake up to a sore body. Then I remember that I got beat yesterday for falling asleep before finishing the dishes. Ugh I hate this pack. Once I find my mate I will be so happy because mates are supposed to love you no matter what.

I turn to look at the clock. FUCK it's almost five I need to get up and fix breakfast for this pack. So I ignored the little pain and took my cold shower. I wasn't allowed hot showers because I wasn't worthy enough. Anyway once done I change into one of five outfits.

Walk down stairs to the kitchen. I see that Mary is already up. She is the only one that treats me good.

"Hi Mary, why are you down here so early?"

"Oh sweetheart you know I had to check up on you after last night. How are you?"

"I'm ok. They can't really hurt me that much anymore you know. I just feel sore like I worked out."

"Well I know you could beat them I have seen you train yourself in the woods?"

"How do you....."

"Don't worry child your secrets are safe with me." She kisses the top of my head after I bend down a bit for her.

"Now get to cooking, I can't see you get beat again and I will see you at my house tonight."

With that she is gone. Why am I treated so badly well it all happened ten years ago.

Ten years ago

"Ma I'm ready" Sam said

"Ok, ok we just have to wait for your dad. He will be back in a bit. He is dropping Kevin off at his friend's house."

"Oh ok ma, well can you tell me where we are going?"

"No, sweetie that is a surprise. Its a early birthday gift."

"But why not just give it to me tomorrow so I can have more gifts mom." Ten year old Sam said.

"You will have to wait and see little one."

"Im home."

"Daddy your back." Sam said running to her father and jumping on him.

"Hey there my little bean you all set to go?"

"Yes but mommy won't tell me where we are going." Sam said with a pout.

"Well its a surprise little bean. Baby you all set?"

"Yep I have everything we need lets go."

The ride there was long and I don't know the place we are going beacuse I don't know the smells. After awhile we pull up to a small cabin. It smelled really sweet. I jump out the car and run to the house but before I could knock daddy picks me up.

"Now now little bean you don't run off without us bad things can happen."

"Im sorry daddy it just it smells so sweet."

Right then the door opens and a beautiful woman opens the door.

"Ah you must be the couple here for the protection spell?"

"Yes but its for our daughter not us."

"Why of course. She is a handsome one isn't she. So much pull even at a young age. And she seems to be fixed on my face."

"Your really pretty." Sam said in a dreamy matter

"Why thank you handsome. Why don't we take this inside."

I don't know what they talked about but I remember eating the really good cupcake. I was so happy because Mom and dad let me have two. I asked if we could bring Kevin some but mom said they were only for me.

We were about to leave when the pretty lady sat next to me and said

"One day you will need me and I will show you everything. Don't give up. You are much stronger then you know." And she kissed my cheek. It felt like butterflies in my tummy.

"There you have it the spell will be good until she turns 21. After if she wants she can have another one done or be told the truth."

"Thank you so much. We should be going now." Mom said

"Wait I need to get rid of my scent on you."

She sprayed something on us and we no longer smelled like her house. I was sad.

"Awww its ok little one. Here take this when you open it, it will let out a little brust of my scent."

She put a necklace on me and I opened it and it did what she said.

"Little one you must tell no one of this the only people that can see the necklace are you, me and your mom and dad. Tell no one of this because if you do the necklace will disappear."

"So, like magic."

"Yes little one."

"So cool. Thank pretty lady." Sam said hugging her.

"Ok we really must go before out pack get anymore worried." Dad said

With that we left. I fell asleep on the drive home. When I woke I was in my bed. I went downstairs and saw mom and dad talking to three men.

Mom came up to me and took back to my room. Then took me to the safe room they had for me.

"Baby don't come out for anyone but Mary ok.  Mommy and Daddy love you so much. We thought we had more time. We love you baby. Now promise to stay."

"Ok mommy I promise. Don't cry, I love you guys too."

She shut the door and locked it. I could hear everything that was going on.

That day I heard my parents die and gained my wolf. I never told anyone of the necklace or about my wolf. I now know that the woman was a witch and I have also kept that to myself.

The pack blamed me for my parents dying saying I should have helped them rather then hiding. I tried to tell them I didn't hide and mom put me there. Plus I don't have a wolf so what could I have done but they weren't hearing me out. From that day I was beat and put in the attic of the pack house. All my stuff wa taken away from but one picture of my parents.

After I was done with breakfast I went back to my "room". I waited about forty minutes and went back down to clean. I wasn't allow to eat in the morning. One meal a day and that was lunch. I was taken out if school when I was 13 but Mary helped me finish and graduate online at 15.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I get to find my mate. It was the only other thing that kept me going. As I was cleaning up in walks in Tim the Alpha's son. With him was his girlfriend Gina and his betas Melvin and Brooklyn along with my brother Kevin. They where my main tormentors.

Gina ran into me and flipped it all around.

"Baby did you see that she tried to hurt me."

Here we go again

"You put your hands on my girl. Oh imma show you. Turn around."

He said useing his Alpha voice that I figured out has no effect on me whatsoever but I turned with my head down because I didn't want them to know that.

"Keto claim down. You are going to make my eyes switch. I'm not supposed to have a wolf yet."

"I just can't stand them so much. They put you through so much for nothing. You should probably fake hurt he just punched you."

"Oh shit ok. Rate my performance?"

"You know it."

I fake hurt and fell to the floor.

"I'm sorry I just bumped her im so sorry please don't." I said in the saddest voice I could.

"Oh you will be sorry alright."

That is when all started to hit and kick me but Kevin. He never did hit me just watched as they did. But he never stood up for me or anything.

"Yo Kev you should get in on this, she did get your parents killed." Tim said

"You know I want to but my wolf is stopping me because she is his siblings."

"Damn even your own bother don't claim you." Tim said but I wasn't looking at him I was looking at my so called brother. He no longer claimed me only his wolf. I heard Keto whimpering for me. I think this hurt more then the actual hitting. Because at that point the tears started to flow. I came to the realization I lost my brother. I lost my family.

Once they stopped. I cleaned up my own blood. With tears coming out.

"Are you ok little one?"

"No but I will be."

I cut off the link I just needed to be alone.

This another story I had in mind. I might just do both but slow updates as I try to finish one of the other books first. Thank yall for having patience with me. I know it all slow updates but it life you know. I love yall and don't be shy tell me what yall think.
