The throne room became noisy.

"Can you tell me the details?"

The king asked. I nodded at his question. The room went silent. I began telling them the turn of event from the explosion sound till FIlma and Markha's escape. Of course I skipped few parts regarding Anastasia's true identity and the appraisal skill I had.

"I see, they are gathering the former hero companions. Duke Barselas!!"

The king called.

"Yes, Your Majesty"

A tall man replied.

"Contact the other former hero companions and warn them about the demons' movements."

"As your wish"

Duke Barselas left the venue in hurry.

"General Chime, General Furcas, General Stine, increase the security of the capital. Also, send air mail to the Knights throughout the country about this crisis."

"As your wish!!"

The three solid men were bowing before leaving the room.

"May this one speak, Your Highness."

The Pope I regularly met said.

"Speak up."

The pope glanced at me once before replying.

"In regards of this crisis, I want to ask permission to start the preparation of the hero summoning."

He said.

"I grant my permission."

The king replied.

"Also, regarding the future hero-sama's companions, I suggest that Baron Concerto to be one of the candidates as he possesses great talent."

The pope added.

"Very well. Permission granted."

The king said.

"Also, as the pope, I also nominated the first prince and the third princess as the candidates as well."

He added.

"I can understand the reason you chose Leo. But, why Alicia is also included?"

The king asked.

"Because, I wish to bind the hero using the princess' kindness and beauty."

The pope said. I twitched when I heard it.

"Excuse me, Pope-sama. Are you suggesting to use someone's fiancée to be paired with the hero?"

I asked rather bluntly.

"Are you still insisting marrying the princess after the 'change' on your body?"

The pope asked. It seems like his rotten character had emerged again. He just used the fake smile every time I donated some potions for the church.

"Yeah, I ain't backing off from this engagement at all."

I glared at him.

"I see. But, the princess still has some talent in magic. After her body cured, her growth on magic skill has increased. I'm sure that she would be a top class archmage when she become a hero's companion."

The pope said while glaring back at me.

"In that case I also nominated one of my brats. There's a hunter who has formidable skill under my care."

Guild Master Lyold joined the fray.

"In that case, we must prepare for the hero's arrival."

The pope said.

"But, what about my mother?"

I asked him.

"Who cares about her? That vixen should have been moaning on the demon lord's bed by now."

The pope mocked. Something snapped inside me. Without saying anything I kicked the ground and aimed for the pope's head but suddenly I felt an impact behind my neck.

"Ouch!!"

I groaned in pain as I held my neck.

"Tch!! He's not out yet!!?"

I heard Guild Master's groan behind me. I turned back just to meet a purplish mist flying to my face before my consciousness faded.

*********************************************************************************************

"Seriously, you shouldn't have said that, Pope-sama."

Lyold said as he supported the fallen boy.

"I also think that your words have gone overboard, Pope-dono."

The king added.

"My apologies your highness."

The pope apologized.

"Also, regarding the pairing of Alicia and the hero, just like Baron Concerto's opinion. I can't agree to that. No matter what, Baron Concerto will still engaged to my daughter."

The king said.

"Pardon for my rudeness, Your Highness."

The Pope said.

"Well then, please i'll take my leave now."

The Pope said. He left the throne room after that. The king issued more orders for the nobles inside the room. One by one the nobles left the room to finish the king's order until just Lyold, the king, and Ren remained.

"Sigh, that was too intense don't you think?"

Lyold slumped down when just two of them remained.

"Thanks for stopping my reckless son-in-law, Lyold."

The king said.

"No biggies, pal. But, that was close. If i were a second late, the Pope's head would really rolled on the ground by now."

Lyold said. He looked at Ren's face.

"This child's anger also can be justified though. I also would snap if someone insulted my own mother like that."

He added.

"So, what do you think of him?"

The king asked.

"The dragonification is not a joke at all. If you said he repelled some demons, I would believe it."

Lyold said.

"I heard from her maid, Anastasia, that Ren had an astounding growth rate. She said that he may have his third class soon enough."

The king said.

"Hee, third one is it?"

Lyold said with interest.

"I wonder what kind of class they were."

He wondered.

"They are Alchemist and Arcanist, Guild Master Lyold."

A feminine voice came from the entrance.

"It's not close combat type?!!"

Lyold couldn't hide his surprise anymore.

"That's right. His superior body constitution is purely came from his dragonification."

Anastasia said.

"I see. Then, why you're here, Vampire?"

Lyold said with enmity.

"I'm just babysitting my lord's son. That's aside, what's your plan for now? I bet when he came to, Ren-sama would definitely go to the church to take that Pope's life."

Anastasia said.

"Judging from the earlier event, i also think that would happen. By the way, how did you know, Anastasia-dono?"

THe king inquired.

"That foolish Pope is grumbling all the way to the entrance. Anyone would know right away what had happened if they heard him."

Anastasia replied.

"Then, what should we do? Lock him down?"

Lyold asked.

"That would be unwise. I think it would be better to bring him to the magic academy. You can register him with Alicia-jou-chan as a transfer student. There's also Leo-sama over there so REn-sama would be unlikely go berserk."

Anastasia suggested

"Won't he just come back? The academy is not that far from here."

Lyold said.

"That would be no problem. As you see... Ren-sama has terrible sense of direction."

Anastasia said.

"In that case, i have a suggestion..."

Lyold said to the two.
