Normally mountain biking was taking a lot of time because the need of resting from time to time. But, it seems like it didn't work that way for our party.

Despite being just recently cured patients, my mother and Rosemaria were displaying their might as veteran adventurers. They led our group ascending the mountain by leaping around on the rocky slopes. If not for the wyverns we met on the midway, we would have been arrived much earlier.

We made a camp on the top of the mountain for a night before departing again to Maximilian. At that time, my mother praised me a lot for being an Alchemist.

Well, the reason was simple actually. After the tent was built, I asked Fianna to make another tent. Inside the tent, I transmuted the nearby stones into a bath tub and then condensed the water vapour in the air to fill the bath. After that, I infused my Mana into the water to increase the water temperature.

"Ren, I heard you make an extra tent, I wonder what you're... Ooh, a bath!!"

My mother came looking for me as I just finished heating the water.

"I just finished making the bath, Mother and the girls can use it first. I'll take one later."

I said. And with that, we took a bath in turns. My mother praised me over and over during the dinner on that day.

But, that aside, the rest of the day was calm and peaceful. We descended the mountain at sunrise.

We stopped when we just descended the mountain for few minutes. The reason was that there was a metal clashing sound and smell of blood from the direction we were heading to.

I sent Fianna and Rosemaria to scout the situation ahead.

"It seems like there's a rebel force hiding in this mountain. The sound came from the battle of the rebel force and the knights."

Rosemaria said.

"Which side is winning?"

I asked.

" I can't say for sure as the Knight have number and equipment advantage and the rebels have the terrain advantage."

She said. I frowned when I heard this.

"Can you tell me the characteristics of the weapons the rebels used?"

I asked.

"Weapon? Well, most of them used bows, Spears, and swords. Ah, there are slingshots too."

She said.

"What about the other side?"

I asked.

"Hmm? They are wearing heavy armor and tower shield. Some of them are using battle axe and great sword."

She said.

"This is bad. Of all of the rebels are in the same situation, Alicia and the rest are in danger."

Mother said.

"Yeah, we must hurry and rejoin them as soon as possible."

I said.

"Battle Formation!! Karina, go with my mother to the front line. Rosemaria, circle the surrounding area and erase the ambush and rear guard. Fianna, give ranged assistance. Braves, move out!!"

I stated my command.

"Yes!!" "Affirmative!!"

Karina and Fianna replied like trained soldiers and departed. Seeing them departing already, mother got flustered and ran after Karina who was a vanguard like her. Rosemaria transformed her outfit into the assassin gear and disappeared into the shadow of the trees on the mountain slope.

"Well, then. Let's check on the other braves."

I muttered.
