I was getting tired of waiting. I was managed to arrive early thanks to Dianna's warning everytime I was about to take a wrong path.

I was staying inside my tent as I was sorting my belongings. I sighed in boredom as there was nothing to do.

I stopped my finger when I saw a weapon which caught my interest. Last time, I was just sorting my items by their categories and haven't checked each of their traits and abilities. Even my zodiac braves are given their equipment based on the types and rarity. Whether any of them carried a curse or not, I hadn't checked yet.

[SSR] Grimclown Oliver Sword [Intelligent Weapon] - One-handed Sword

I looked at the preview. It was a sword with jet black color and had red jewels ornaments on the hilt and scabbard.

The unique feeling I got from its appearance made me interested in this sword even more. I tapped the details button to see the weapon description.

[Grimclown Oliver Sword is a sword of the old Demon Lord in Avalgarde, Freon Mercury. The jet black blade was made using the severed horn of the mentioned Demon Lord mixed with Ancient Dragon' Fang and Horn, Crystalized Vampire Lord's Heart and three Dungeon Cores of three Chaotic Dungeons. It was bestowed with intelligence after it was soaked with the blood of 10,000 types of creatures and magic beasts. After the previous owner died in battle against the hero, the sword vanished into the void and waited for a new master to wield it.]

The tremendous amount of effects aside, the back story of this sword is already absurd enough. Rather than Intelligent weapon, it's probably closer to cursed weapon or demonic weapon instead. I was about to take out this sword from the inventory but I stopped.

Karina entered my tent and bowed to me.

"Our guests has arrived."

She said.

"Tell them I'll be there soon."

I said. Karina nodded and exited the tent. Without any delay, I put on a pitch black equipment set. I also covered my face with magic mask with voice-changing effect.

When I left my tent, I saw two people standing beside a golden light sphere inside a black steel cage. The first one was an old man with domineering feature and had a terrifying aura around him. He had an eye patch and had some image of a chuuni old man from Akiba. The second one was someone I knew well and had a deep grudge over, Markha.

"I welcome thee, envoy of Superbia. I am the youngest demon Lord, Acedia."

I said to them.

"Thank you for greeting us personally, Acedia-sama. I am called Bailord West. I am the same as the Lord, a Chaos Emperor Dragon. This is one of my old friend's subordinates, Markha. Our purpose here is to conduct the exchange in our Lord's, Superbia-sama, stead."

Bailord said politely.

"I see... I wish to have a chat with him but I can't help it. So, Bailord-dono, that sphere behind you, is that the merchandise?"

I asked him.

"Yes, this is the item you're looking for, the two of the former hero party members. Inside this sphere, there are Emilia Concerto and Rosemaria."

Bailord said. I used my appraisal on the sphere and saw two people inside it.

"I just confirmed it. This is the real article."

I said.

"Then, about the heroes-"

Bailord tried to ask.

"The Love Hero and Harmony Hero are heading to Formerly Maximilian Kingdom. But, They took separate way in the middle. But the Love Hero should.have joined the rebel army by now."

I said.

"I see. That would be good information to trade. But, isn't it tiring, Acedia-sama?"

He said. I frowned when I heard his question.

"What do you mean?"

I asked him.

"Don't you feel tired acting like a demon Lord, Acedia-sama? No, maybe I should call you Hero of Harmony, Ren Concerto-san?"

He said. I gasped inside my mind.

"Kukukukuku"

I trembled. I let out small laughter at him.

"Is something funny, Hero?"

He asked confidently.

"You got me over there, Old man. I am indeed the one you mentioned, Ren Concerto, the hero of Harmony."

I declared as I took off my mask.

"Huh?"

I dumbfounded sound came from Markha.

"Is something wrong Markha?"

Bailord asked.

"No, it's just his face is very similar to the kid I had fought with Filma-sama but the hair should have been silver like his mother."

He said.

"The face is similar is not strange as they are the same person. As for the hair, I bet he used some dye for disguising himself."

Bailord said.

"It is strange!! No matter who he is, there will be some secondary changes on the face even just tiny bit but this guy's face hasn't changed at all except his hair color."

Markha said.

"Good work for noticing, Markha-dono. This body is indeed belong to the Hero of Harmony. But, I am not necessarily the same person as him. I am the Demon Lord of Sloth, Bell Pheol. Thanks to this kid's Gene I can inherit the light attribute as well as the Hero insignia. But, just for information, Ohm-sama had planted Acedia seed long before you met him. That seed grows bit by bit and when I awakened as a demon Lord, I could finally own this body. Holy Demonic element of this body is the rare among the rarest. And this body is not belong to Ren Concerto anymore but it's mine. Keep that in mind."

I said while glaring at Bailord.

"Now you can be assured that I am no longer Ren Concerto. But, tell Farma, don't touch my toys. Alicia and that hero girl are mine to take. Once I own these two new toys, I bet those guys won't be suspicious of me anymore."

I added.

"My deepest apologies for my rudeness, Acedia-sama​. But, right now, Avarithia-sama has started the plan to crush the rebels as well as diminishing the human potential. We can't contact him at all."

Markha said.

"Then, do your best as if by chance he touched my toy, don't blame me to eradicate every demon I met."

I warned him. I released my hostility towards him boosted with my monarch aura.

"I- I will contact him as soon as possible!!"

Markha was completely frightened. I glanced at Bailord. I fished out an item from my inventory.

Mermaid Tears (diluted)

A small vial in a size of little finger appeared in my hand.

"It seems like you got some old wound over there. As a proof of friendship, I'll give you this."

I handed the mermaid Tears to him. Bailord looked at the vial with amazed eyes.

"This is...."

Bailord was lost of words upon seeing the item in his hand.

"Sorry but I just have the low grade tears. But, at least it can ease the pain in your eyes or hand right?"

I said.

"Thank you very much, Acedia-sama!! I will repay your kindness someday."

Bailord thanked me earnestly. After that, the golden sphere was given to me. The black cage disappeared into black most as soon as Bailord and Markha left.
