"Then, I wish to inquire about dragon crest and holy insignia."

I said.

"Are you sure you wish to know about that?"

She asked me. I nodded without saying a word.

"Fine then. Crest and Insignia are almost similar. It also goes for demon race's Brand."

She said.

"Insignia is the proof of hero. It's also said an imitation of authority fragment of Volt's divine power. There are a lot of them. But, the strongest is the Virtues fragments. Though, I've never seen one of those seven virtues until now. After all, they are the fragments which could stand against the strongest Brand, the Deadly Sins."

She said. I was taken aback by that.

"The Brand is just like Insignia. It's also said an imitation of authority fragment of Ohm's divine power. Instead of being a hero, this is a sign of being a demon lord candidate. A demon brand can evolve into a demon flag which indicating the birth of a demon lord."

She added.

"Since I don't have many details about this matter, I'll move the talk to the last matter. Dragon's Crest is almost similar to the Brand and Insignia. You should know right that a Dragon is born from a divine power. That crest is indicating the authority of your divine power. It didn't means anything but a proof of your talent, power and authority and usually used as a household flag for the dragons. Lesser Dragons and young dragons usually don't have one so a crest is also become a proof of a dragon reaching the adulthood.

The shapes of dragon crest usually unique to each dragon but there are few crests that has similar shape if they have same species. Crest also can be stamped into something else so it also can give a sign of ownership of something."

She said.

"But, please note that a given crest can be erased. There are three methods to erase it. First, dispel it with magic. Second, destruction or death of the crest holder. And third, through erasure ceremony. This is probably needed for you as you have non-dragon subordinates."

She said.

"Then, my next question. What is the fastest method of dragon's growth?"

She asked.

"Having meals properly, exercise well, and hunt a prey. There's also a hibernation period of the young dragons."

I said.

"You're correct. But, I will skip your question once and ask you this."

She said. Somehow the atmosphere became cold.

"Why aren't you doing it if you said that?"

She asked. I shivered.

"Tha-That is..."

I was unable to find a proper answer.

"Are you telling me that you're already grown up enough for a dragonkin?"

She asked again.

"Maybe not yet."

I muttered.

"Then start your hibernation right away."

She said.

"That- I can't do it yet."

I said resolutely.

"Explain"

She asked.

"I can't until I can ensure the safety of my comrades."

I said. She glared at me. I tried so hard so that I didn't falter. She sighed and stopped glaring.

"I see... This is quite troublesome. It seems like I have no other choice."

She said. She clapped her hands once. At that time, my senses blacked out in instant.

Chime sighed and watched the youth in front of her. He was sleeping as if having a pleasant dream. She looked at the ceiling. The young dragons watched the fainted youth with curiosity.

"This is troublesome indeed."

She said.

At the same time, at another site.

"HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!"

Leo was sparing against a dragonoid with black scales. Alicia, Ameralda, Shiina, Lisha, and Flint were resting at the side of the training ground. He was barely able to keep up with the strikes of the black dragonoid who was trying to hit him with bladeless sword by blocking with his shield.

Suddenly, his body felt some warm feeling. He braced himself and prepared his stance. The black dragonoid looked at him with suspicion. Leo advanced. But, unlike before he was faster. The shield was rammed to the torso and knocked the dragonoid back.

"What's happening here?"

Leo muttered in amazement.

"This is..."

Shiina was who was standing up with surprised looks. She was staring at the back of the palm. Leo was involuntarily followed her gesture and looked at the back of his palm. There, he saw a familiar symbol. Leo smirked and prepared his stance again.

"With my little brother supporting me, I feel that I won't lose to anything now!!"

He said.

"I see... Then, come!!"

The black dragonoid said. Leo dashed forward and attacked.

After the lesson session was over, everyone was resting at the edge of the arena. A white dragonoid was casting a healing spell to the black dragonoid. Beside him, a blue dragonoid, red dragonoid, and yellow dragonoid were writhing in pain.

"What's with the sudden power up? Also, why didn't you use it till now?"

The black dragonoid asked.

"It's not like we're doing it on purpose. It wasn't us who caused this."

Leo said. He showed the dragonoids the symbol behind his palm.

"Oho? Hero's insignia huh? No wonder you're gotten stronger all sudden."

The black dragonoid said. Leo shook his head.

"No, this insignia isn't mine."

He said honestly.

"Then, whose is it?"

Leo looked at the other members of his party.

"This insignia belong to Ren. I don't know what happened but this ability suddenly activated during our match."

He said.

"Is it also happened to the rest of you?"

The black dragonoid asked.

"Yes. Our party members are receiving this insignia."

Flint replied.

"So, what's the effect it has?"

The black dragonoid asked.

"I don't know but somehow I gradually getting stronger."

Leo said as he clenched his fist.

"What's wrong Shiina?"

Alicia asked the girl beside her. She was stayed silent for a while.

"My level is increasing every 5 minutes."

She said.

"WHAT?!!"

Everyone was surprised.

"I don't know what happened but I felt something is off."

Flint said as he stood up.

"We need to check on Ren-sama."

Alicia suggested.

"That would be impossible."

The black dragonoid said.

"What do you mean?"

Alicia inquired.

"If I'm not mistaken, he is under Chime-sama's care now. Coming over there will make things worse. Chime-sama is a strict educator and famous for being a persistent person. She also dislike disturbance during her lesson and was feared even by other educators."

The black dragonoid said.

"I see... So, what should we do now?"

Alicia asked.

"I think you should start considering your second class and third class. You can discuss it with either of us."

The black dragonoid said.

"I see. Then, let's do that."

Leo said giving up.
