After the meal, the old man told me and my party that today was a day off for us. He then told us to head to the rest area to relax ourselves there. Without anymore delay, Anastasia led us to the resting area which was located on the 3rd floor.
Upon entering the room, the rigid atmosphere in my party dissolved in instant. Leo threw himself to the sofa and sighed. Noden also sighed like an old man. Ameralda stayed in graceful mood but her atmosphere was more relaxed than before. Alicia, Shiina and Flint joined her as Lisha was just like Leo, slumping down to an empty seat. The only person who didn't have any change in attitude and atmosphere was Anastasia. She stayed silent as she stood near the doorway.
"It seems like you're quite confused, Ren"
Leo said.
"Well, of course I am!! What's with this absurd drastic change?!!Z"
I said.
"You'll understand in no time. You'll definitely change for the better like us when they started your lessons."
He added.
"But, I bet you have a lot to ask us right?"
He said.
"Of course, firstly, where are we? The last thing I remembered is when Sebastian's maid friend summoned a strange demon."
I said.
"As where we are, we only heard from Asvi-san that this place is a sub-dimension created by ancient dragons for his kin to live peacefully. This town is called Metropolis. As for the current building we are located is the dormitory of the Dragon God Temple."
Leo explained.
"I see..."
I rubbed my temples as I processed the information I had received.
"Ren, you might be still confused right? That's normal, after all, you're already unconscious for a whole month."
Flint said.
"A month?"
I frowned. Judging from the levels I gained, I thought it was less than a week. But, if I were asking about this, my identity of a demon seed possessor would be revealed.
I looked at my party members.
"During my slumber, did something happen?"
I asked. They didn't answer my question and looked at each other before nodding in unison.
"No, nothing at all. It's just we got a bit of training and teaching from the exalted elder dragon-sama."
Leo said.
"I see..... Then, this weird transparent window is your doing right, Shiina?"
I asked.
"Eh?"
She gasped.
"This is my first time seeing this option but this might be quite handy in emergency."
I said.
"Ah, the party setting huh? Yes, that is one of my privileges as a hero. With that option, I can know my comrades location, communicating with them from afar, and know their status ailment. Usually the other party members would only receive extra buff from the aura but this is the first time for me to see that all of our buff effects including the personal ones were shared."
Shiina said.
"I see. Well, since it's handy, I don't mind."
I said. I walked toward the closest window and looked at the distance.
"I was wondering why Asvi would bring me here. There's something fishy about it."
I said.
"Ah, she said that it was a request from the Dragon God, Pascal-sama."
Alicia said.
"Ha? From that oversize- ehem, from that great dragon god?"
I corrected myself. It was close. I almost said 'oversized lizard' by chance.
"Yeah, Asvi is an apostle so she could receive a divine message from the gods."
She said.
"So, did you guys receive any discomfort here?"
I asked them.
"No, if I were complaining here, I would definitely ungrateful."
Leo said.
"They provided us with a free training menu, lectures, shelters, and meals. If you compares me to the past me, you'll see the greatest difference."
He added.
"I also thought so. After I finished my adventure with Minato-san, I thought I had reached the pinnacle of power but after arriving here, I felt that I'm too naïve."
Flint said.
"That's true. No wonder that they always calling us inferior beings. When we compared our might, wisdom, wealth, and many other aspects, we can't complain and admit that."
Noden joined in.
"Also, I'm also thankful that I could receive a good etiquette class for free. I and Ameralda-nee-sama also received a bridal training from the Mother Dragon."
Alicia said.
"Umm.... Ren-san. There's something I want to confirm."
Shiina said. Everyone's attention turned toward her.
"Is it true, you're the son of the previous hero, Takayashiki Minato?"
She asked.
"Ah, that's right. I'm also curious about that."
Flint said.
"Anastasia didn't tell you?"
I looked back at Anastasia.
"She said that I must hear it from you directly."
Shiina said.
"Haa, to be frank, I am. I heard it from my mother before she got kidnapped."
I said.
"As I thought!!"
"Seriously!!"
"No way!!"
The comments varied. The first one was Shiina and Flint, second one came from Alicia, Leo, and Noden and the last one came from Lisha, and Ameralda.
"Judging from your reaction, I bet you too, right? Shiina?"
I asked her back.
"Tha- That is..."
She hesitated to answer. She looked at the rest of the party members.
"Don't mind them. Even it's true, I doubt you'll get a special treatment from them."
I added.
"Hey! Isn't that bit rude?"
Flint refuted.
"But, are you going to suddenly acting like her aunt?"
I asked.
"Tha-That is...."
Flint hesitated.
"Maa, beside Anastasia, my mother and I, the only one who knows this is Elle-sensei. She was shocked at first but after that, she acted as if nothing happened."
I added.
"Eh? That stalker did that?"
Flint was surprised.
"Ahahaha"
Shiina gave a dry laugh.
"So, is he?"
I asked her again.
"Ahahaha, yes."
She said weakly.
"I see."
I said. I looked at the distance.
"Say, want to have a walk?"
I said to her. She widened her eyes.
"But, is it alright?"
She asked as she looked at Alicia. Alicia nodded at her.
"I will be waiting at the first floor."
I said. I walked outside. I headed to the elevator and pressed the button to the first floor. The first floor was a large reception hall. I walked toward a nearby pillar and looked at the ceiling as I waited.
"Thanks for the wait."
Shiina called me.
"So, you come."
I said. She nodded timidly. I sighed and patted her head.
"No need to be that nervous."
I said.
"More or less, you can say that I'm technically your older brother right?"
I said.
"Ah, yes."
She nodded cheerfully.
"Let's go."
We walked out from the building.
"This place somehow looked like that place right? I mean, Japan."
I said.
"Eh? How do you know?"
Shiina was surprised.
"I heard it from my mother."
I said.
"I see..."
"Was old man healthy?"
I asked her.
"You can say he is but he is still obsessed with this world somehow. He always writing and telling stories about this world and his previous adventures. Akihito-nii-san and Takuya-nii-san were always saying that father is too childish despite being an adult. But, somehow dad is getting along very well with mom."
She said.
"I see... that's good then."
I said.
"Wait, you're not suspecting me for lying?"
She said.
"Whether it's a lie or not, there's no way I can proof it right? When I saw you so helpless back then I somehow felt that I can't leave you alone. Maybe this is what you call brotherly instinct."
I said.
"But, I am more or less has the same age as you right?"
Shiina said.
"Well, that's true but there's no guarantee that the 'Earth' has the same time flow with this world."
I said.
"I see. Well, that's also true. According to the Pope the hero had run away 15 years ago. But, in 'Earth' father 'returned' around 45 years ago."
She said.
"I see... Ah?!"
I stopped my track. I quickly turned around and watched the scenery and went pale.
"What's wrong?"
Shiina asked.
"I forgot to mark which building is the temple."
I said.
"Wha-!!"
Shiina was lost of words.
