In the capital of Maximillan, the crowd gathered together along the road. They were excited when they heard that the heroes had appeared to defeat the demon lord. A carriage escorted by elite knights and Holy Knights from the church entered the capital with a grand welcome from the citizen.

"Whoa, look at them."

Ichinose was excited.

"This is indeed another world."

Takayashiki muttered.

The citizen consisting of various races cheered at their arrival. Music from the bards echoed throughout the way in harmony as a background music of the heroes' arrival. Daigo, Haruta, and Monzono didn't respond to them and stayed silent along the way.

The heroes got off from the carriage in front of the castle gate. In front of the castle, several thrones of the leaders from the alliance were lined. Between them and the throne, a red carpet was spread. Knights from various affiliations lined on both sides of the carpet, making majestic scenery.

The pope led the heroes through the carpet before kneeling in front of the alliance leaders.

"I, as the representative of the humankind, have finished my duty to summon our saviors to this world."

The Pope said.

"The five heroes have arrived for the call from the humanities to purge down the demons."

He added.

"As the leader of alliance, I am thankful for your great achievement, Pope-dono."

The King of Novus, the Holy King Ambrosius, said.

"Starting from today onwards, the alliance shall take over the training of the heroes."

He added.

Afterward, the alliance bestowed the title of heroes toward the five summoned youth formally followed by the parade throughout the Capital. Every important people were present at that time except two people, Ren, who was still in his deep slumber, and Anastasia who took care of him. But, most of the people weren't aware of it.

Later at night, a bouquet was held for the heroes. Every important people such as generals, nobles, important figures, and the former hero companions were participating. Several prodigies from the military, magic academies, and countries were also invited in the banquet.

Daigo who was introduced as the strongest hero was surrounded by the princess from various countries. He was pleased by it. But, he wasn't aware that one of those princesses wasn't present. Alicia was chatting with Duventoliel regarding Ren's condition instead of talking about the heroes.

Haruta was talking with several individuals such as generals and nobles. He was discussing about the combat strategies against the demons. The hero girls were surrounded by some princes. Ichinose chatted with them happily. Monzono was interested in their pride in chivalry which was always boasted by every knights and nobles in the kingdom. Takayashiki took some distance from them and enjoyed some juice instead.

She slipped out from the two and bumped into a person with long ears, an elf.

"Ah, I'm sorry."

She apologized.

"Don't mind it. Ah, if I'm not mistaken, you're the hero..."

The elf tried to say her name.

"Takayashiki. Takayashiki Shiina."

She introduced herself.

"Ah, Takayashiki-sama is it? I am one of the elf elder, Atusma."

The elf said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you."

Shiina said.

"You're too formal. You can relax around me."

"In that case, I would like to ask something."

"What is it?"

"Do you know the story about the previous hero?"

"Previous hero? In that case you can ask that elf. She is the former companion of that hero."

The elf said as she pointed toward Duventoliel.

"I see. Thank you for the information."

She bowed before heading toward Duventoliel. She was stopped when Ichinose dragged her back to the group of princes.

Daigo boasted about his capabilities to the girls. He stopped when he saw a glimpse of a girl wearing a tiara who was talking with an elf. She had a noble demeanor and beautiful looks. Daigo bid farewell to the girls and headed to the Pope.

"Hey"

He called for him.

"Oh, what is it, Daigo-dono?"

The pope said.

"About the promise you give me, I'll claim it now."

Daigo said.

"I see. Then, please wait. I'll arrange the preparation."
