At the next day, I executed my plan. I sent a mail with forged stamp from Ameralda's father. A letter with formal seal is not something that the fan club can intercept. To execute this, I had several backers named the ero headmaster, maid with screw loose, strict future wife and Muscle-headed Guild Master.

After sending the mail containing a scenario I had written, I observed her decision with my backers. Ameralda left her room after reading the letter inside her room. She was wearing some light make-up as if she was going to have an important meeting.

"Let's follow them."

I led the backer group.

As per usual, Ameralda was guarded by her fans attendant. She walked toward the knight classroom and looked around. Once she entered, the eyes of the guys' eyes directed toward her. Ameralda ignored them and headed to a certain boy, Leo.

"Excuse me, Prince Leonardo. Can I have a bit of your time?"

She said. Leo went stiff.

"Y-Yes, wi-with pleasure."

Leo replied like a broken cassette.

"Then, this way please."

Ameralda led the way. Leo left with her while being showered by gazes of envy from his surroundings. Ameralda was leading Leo who was walking nervously while being showered by the hostile gaze from the attendants. Ameralda guided him to a private tea room.

"You guys can leave us alone for now. This is important talk between two country royalties that must be done in private."

She said.

"But..."

The attendant glanced at Leo.

"This is an order."

"Yes, Princess."

The attendants left the room. I glanced at the ero headmaster. She nodded and casted a silent spell on the door and the walls.

"You can relax, Leo-sama."

Ameralda said.

"B-Bu-But –"

Leo was completely lost it.

"There's no need to tense up, Leo-sama. This is just a private talk after all."

Ameralda said. Leo took a deep breath and stood straight.

"Then, regarding the secret talk you mentioned before-"

"It's a lie."

Ameralda stopped Leo from starting a formal conversation.

"Eh? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He was surprised by her statement just now.

"The-Then, the reason you're calling me here is..."

"Of course, to have a light chat with you."

She said with smile. Leo tensed up in instant.

"The-Then, let me intr-introduce-"

"There's no need for that you know."

"A-Ah, r-r-right."

He was nervous.

"Ufufufu, seeing a troubled look of yours is quite interesting."

"T-Thanks for the c-c-compliment."

"So, what should we talk about?"

"W-Well, I wonder..."

His eyes were drifting away.

"Then, should we talk about ourselves? I'm a bit curious about the paladin classes."

She said.

"A-A-About ourselves?"

Leo was getting even more nervous.

"You said that you saved me from that because Ren told you about it right?"

Ameralda asked.

"Y-Yeah"

"I already confirmed it. Ren was only telling you the location and the existence of the demon to test on your affection toward me. "

"T-That is..."

"I already know. You likes one of my subordinates right? You want to proof to them that you're reliable."

"Eh?"

"If that's the case, I'll help you. So, which-"

"That's not it!!"

Leo stood up all sudden.

"Eh?"

She was surprised by the sudden reaction.

"That's not it? Then, what do you mean?"

Ameralda lured him in. This woman was quite schemer herself.

"We-well, it's bit awkward to say."

He averted his eyes.

"Then, let's change the topic since you're not willing to tell me."

Ameralda said. Leo sighed in relieve before sitting on his seat again.

"Then, why did you attend magic academy? I heard you already had a private mentor."

Ameralda dropped another bomb.

"Th-That is to learn magic."

Leo was looked like a pitiful child.

"Magic?"

"Yes, a high tier magic."

"Aren't you a paladin?"

Ameralda was merciless on him.

"Well, yes."

"Then why?"

"I have a personal reason for it."

Leo averted his eyes.

"Well, it's not like I care about the magic though. I am interested in the deed of the hero companions instead."

"Eh?"

Leo was dumbfounded.

"You're not interested in magic?"

"When did I say I do?"

"But, I heard from your attendant that you interested in a person who can cast high tier spell."

Leo said.

"Ha? Of course not. I like heroic tales instead. I attended the academy because Duventoliel-sama is the headmaster."

She said bluntly.

"Is that so?"

Leo responded. From his looks, I could see that he was trying to stay as calm as possible.

"But, hero huh? The hurdle is getting higher."

He muttered.

"Did you say something?"

"Ah, no- nothing at all."

He panicked a bit.

"Speaking of heroes, my paladin master is the former hero's companion, the saint Emilia Concerto."

He tried to change the topic.

"Eh? Really?"

Suddenly Ameralda held his hands excitedly.

"Y-Yeah, she is."

"Can you make an appointment for us to meet?"

She pleaded. Leo made a trouble expression.

"I would love to but-"

"But?"

"She and the Assassin Rosemaria were kidnapped by two high ranked demon generals and their whereabouts is unknown."

Leo said.

"I see..."

Ameralda looked dejected.

"But, maybe you can ask some question to her son instead."

Leo made a suggestion.

"Her son?"

Ameralda titled her head.

"Ren Concerto, my childhood friend, is the son of that saint."

"EEEEEEEEH?!!!"

"You don't need to look so surprised. It might be unbelievable but it's true."

Leo said. I twitched hearing such comment.

"Of course it would be unbelievable!! I mean that truant Ren!! The worst problem child of the academy is the son of the great saint-sama?!!"

Ameralda was hysteric for some reason.

"Ahahaha, well, you shouldn't insult him that much. Despite being a problem child, that guy is a nice guy to the core and he's my brother in law."
Leo said.

"Say, how did you get close with the saint and her son?"

Ameralda asked.

"You might laugh when you hear it. At that time..."

He began chatting about his past and mine. Some of his comments made me want to hit him but Alicia stopped me from doing it. I endured everything as I watched both of them were getting closer and Leo had stopped being nervous around Ameralda.

"Say, if I were proposing you right here and right now, what will you do?"

Leo asked.

"Well, I will accept it. After all, so far there's none who get interested in me after all. I mean, my father was a criminal after all."

"Criminal?"

"Yes, he's the mastermind of the internal war of the human faction after the defeat of the demon lord. Luckily, the one who hold power in the kingdom was my mother and my father was just a public figure so he was executed right away and I was isolated."

Ameralda said.

"Who cares about that?"

Leo said.

"Eh?"

Ameralda was dumbfounded.

"You're you. Your father is your father. You two are different individuals aren't you?"

Leo said.

"If there's nobody who is willing to marry you, then I will do it."

Leo declared.

"Le-Leonardo-kun?"

She was agitated. Leo made a serious expression.

"Ameralda"

"Yes"

Leo moved toward her side and knelt down.

"Please marry me."

He finally proposed her.

"Leonardo-kun. I-"

CRASH!!

Just a moment before she could answer, a demon flew in through the window. Before anyone can react, I clenched my fist and sent it out once again. I undid the invisibility and looked at Leo.

"Good work"

I said. Both of them were looked dumbfounded.

"Ah, please continue. I'll handle the demon outside."

I said before jumping out through the window.
