Terres was laying on the bed on his stomach and was kicking his feet up while writing something in a pretty leather-bound diary.

It was the dairy he received from his mother as a good-luck gift and he kept using it for storing the information about the capture targets that wanted to seduce Meru.

After all, only Terres could protect him!

It's been around a month from the time that Terres tried to interfere with the Jaftie's event since then Terres actually warmed up to the so-called bully and vice versa.

The dairy was opened on a page with a detailed portrait of Jaftie drawn by the Terres himself.

The two boys actually made up not long after the event.

Well, it mostly had to do with the fact that Terres, actually feeling bad for the Jaftie losing some teeth went ahead and came back to see him and healed him with Trispi's help.

"He's a good guy, a bit impulsive but he's the stereotypical bad boy with the good heart. There was even that cliché situation with him taking care of the abandoned puppy in the back of the school..."

Terres chuckled to himself and kicked up his feet joyfully.

But then he tilted his head and furrowed his brow, the butt of the pencil he was writing with ended up between his teeth.

"Wait... wasn't that supposed to be one of the events though...? But Meru wasn't there..."

Terres bit into the pencil's butt deep in thoughts.

"Well... I guess the situation will occur anyway and if the heroine is not present it's not an event! Good!"

Terres started scribbling in the dairy again.

"If Meru would start hanging out with Jaftie he wouldn't have as much time to play with me! Or maybe we would all hang out together...?"

Terres looked up and tapped the pencil on his chin pondering over it.

"No, there's no reason to chance it, what if Meru would actually fall for him!? No. Denied."

He shook his head and crossed something out of the page he just wrote.

"Next is Michaelus... The prince, huh, well, he's nice..."

Terres rolled on the bed and laid on his back with the dairy raised above his head staring at the drawing of the Galgartian prince looking prideful with eyes full of spirit.

"He's so energetic that just talking with him can be tiring, but he came and apologized for accusing me of stealing and tried to make up for it... The cake he got me was super delicious!"

Terres smiled remembering the taste of the pastry.

"Ehehe...! Meru tried some too and managed to get some cream on his cheek! That klutz!"

Terres laughed, mostly to the memory of how cute Meru looked all embarrassed when he wiped the cream of his cheek.

"Again, it was the event that I managed to mess up! The heroine was supposed to do that to Michaelus but I changed it! I'm so good at it!"

Terres puffed up his chest in pride and flipped the page where a drawing of the composed and kind-hearted upperclassman, Victisso, greeted him.

"Senior Victisso is such a good person! It would be for the best if Meru would stop acting so angry around him all the time, he's only getting his attention that way... And senior only wants to be helpful! And he even praised me for the assignment I wrote thanks to his help! Meru didn't even say a thing..."

Terres grumbled while pouting. Each time Victisso was anywhere near, Meru would get on guard as if the Donrobosian was about to take something from him.

"Meru can be kind sometimes but he could learn so much from the senior Victisso!"

Terres scoffed and put the dairy into his bag on the side of the bed.

Then he proceeds to roll around on the bed without any restraint and when he got tired he buried his face in the pillow while breathing heavily while Trispi kept dancing above his head.

"Nnn? This smell so nice!"

Terres sniffed the pillow and his eyes widened in surprise.

"What is this? Did Meru sprinkle it with some perfume? I never expected him to be into that!"

Terres fidgeted and hugged the pillow...

And took another whiff.

"So nice!"

He sighed contented.

To tell the truth, Terres wasn't in his room at all, he was actually in Meru's room waiting for the black-haired boy to return.

Meru had some chores to do, as he said himself, and after the lectures for the day finished, he gave the key to his room to Terres and asked him to wait for him.

Terres, of course, agreed since from the very beginning he was going to hang out with Meru and that's how he ended up in the current situation.

"...He sure takes his sweet time though..."

Terres pouted looking through the window, the day was slowly changing into the night and the colors of the dusk.

"Should I pull some prank on him...?"

Terres giggled mischievously and started to look around the room but the more he looked at it, the more he distanced himself from the idea.

In Meru's room, everything was in perfect order, that sort of thing one would expect from a veteran soldier and not a teenager. Messing something up would feel... Really wrong.

Not the bed though, the bed was a different thing altogether.

"Hmmm...."

Terres squinted his eyes looking at the bedding with naughty sparks in his eyes.

Meru was returning to his room with an annoyed expression and a sleeve stuck to his nose.

He was so reckless... From more than a month he has been going around the Academy at any chance he got and beat up the assholes who dared to bully Terres.

Of course, Terres had no clue about it, the innocent boy he was, he thought that people gradually just give up or realize that the bullying is stupid and shameless behavior.

Well, Meru would like him to keep thinking that.

Up until now he managed to remain unharmed through all of his 'missions', after all, he was actually trained soldier despite his age but the bullies he got today were lucky enough to sneak a few good punches before crumbling to the floor in defeat.

Nothing much, just a few punches under the ribs, nothing that his spirit couldn't alleviate, but the problem was the hit straight on the nose that he couldn't block and took full on...

"Terres will notice for sure..."

Meru groaned looking at his bloodstained sleeve.

And just his luck, the nosebleed just wouldn't stop today of all days.

Terres didn't like Meru getting hurt at all, even of it was a small accidental injury, he would make a big deal out of it and get really sad and worried.

Meru didn't like Terres getting sad and worried.

Terres looked the best with a happy smile on his face and Meru wanted to keep that way.

"And I had to invite him to come over to my room too...! I'm such an idiot...!"

Meru grumbled to himself angrily.

There still was a chance that Terres didn't come, but it was really a slim one...

"Crap... I forgot to change the bedding..."

He clicked his tongue.

Meru finally arrived at his door, the blood from his nose somehow stopped and now he only needed to watch out for Terres noticing his bloodied sleeve.

He slowly put pressure on the door handle.

If Terres was in the door would be unlocked.

And it was.

Meru hid the arm with the bloody sleeve behind his back and entered...

But his room was empty...!
