The classes of U.A you attended weren't anything too far off what you've already been learning at your old school. Of course, there was no such thing as Hero studies with the Sports Festival around the corner, and 1A knew this all too well. But they weren't the only class with the sports festival in mind.

The school day came to a close, and yet as soon as everyone in 1A was ready to leave, the pink cheeks girl opened up the door, unveiling dozens of students outside, murmuring as they looked through your class.

???: Wh- What's going on!

Iida: *signature hand movement* What business do you have with Class A?

Mineta: We can't get out! What'd you come here for, anyway?

Towards the back of the room, with your school bag over your shoulder, you lightly knock the angry redhead sitting at her desk on the shoulder.

(Y/N): The two of us are quite famous now, huh?

Nokogiri: *swatting your hand away* If that was the case, those daft fuckwits would be annoyin the other two as well. It's not us that they're after...

Her green eyes narrow down towards the classmates at the door.

Nokogiri: It's them.

But then, another student, one you haven't properly met yet made his way towards the front. His dirty blonde spiked hair stood out from everyone else.

???2: Scouting out the enemy, small fry. We're the ones who made it out of the villain's attack. They probably want to check us out before the sports festival.

That would be it. That's gotta be the reason they're here. But strangely enough, you didn't really pay attention to this guy throughout the day. But now, he seemed... familiar. You quickly made your way to the front of the room, followed by Nokogiri.

???2: There's no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my way, extras.

Everyone disliked that.

That immediately ticked off Iida, and setting both the pink cheeks girl and broccoli boy into shock. But as that all unfolded, that last word echoed in your head.

(Y/N): Extras...

You remembered him clearly now. Whilst failing the entrance exam originally mostly fell under your own fault, it was this kid who snatched all possibilities to get in in the first place. Calling everyone in his way that one nickname. Extra.

But you were shaken from your thoughts when a new challenger approached.

???3: I came to see what the famous Class A was like, but you seem pretty arrogant.

A boy with wavy purple hair pushed through the gathering crowds outside your classroom, making his way to the front to stare down the beast ahead.

???3: Are all the students in the Hero course like this? Seeing something like this makes me disillusioned. There are quite a few people who enrolled in general studies or other courses because they didn't make it into the Hero course. And a couple others went crying back home and applied somewhere else entirely. Did you know that? The school had left those of us who remained in U.A regardless a chance. Depending on the results of the sports festival, they'll consider our transfer into the Hero course. And it seems they may also transfer people out. But something I believe only I know, is that I know the most likely to be taken out.

Suddenly, his purple eyes lock with yours.

???3: (Y/N) (L/N). I remember you from the first exam. The boy who only just failed by one point, miraculously ends up here in the Hero course.

Everyone quickly turns there gaze to you.

???3: Did you know that students already in U.A, regardless of what course, weren't offered a place in the re-entrance exam? Maybe the Heroes here assumed we settled for good enough, or that just because we were already in the General course that we'd fail immediately. But you. You called it quits. Ran away from U.A, yet hoping they'd take you in by some miracle. You don't deserve your place here. You didn't work for any of this. The rug will be pulled from beneath you, and you'll fall to be nothing but a faint memory to this forsaken class.

You were silent. Everyone was. You knew he was right with who's most likely to get kicked out. But then, the purple haired boy turned back to the rest of the class.

???3: Scouting out the enemy? I, at least, came to say that even if you're in the Hero course, if you get too carried away, I'll sweep the feet out from under you. I came with a declaration of war.

The air around the whole class was tense. Everything sat still quietly, until...

???4: Hey, hey!

Once more, someone pushes through the crowds to send a message.

???4: I'm from Class B next door! I heard you fought against villains, so I came to hear bout it! Don't get so full of yourself!

(Y/N): *sigh* The bold people won't stop coming, will they? Who's next?

Nokogiri: Chikara And Sakamoto could be traitors for all we know.

As the silver haired continued rambling, the porcupine haired boy of your class completely ignored everything and made his way past the onlookers.

???4: You ignoring me, bastard!?

Suddenly, Kirishima leans out the door and calls out to the angery boy.

Kirishima: Wait a minute, Bakugo! What're you gonna do about all this? It's your fault that everyone's hating on us!

Bakugo: It doesn't matter.

Kirishima: Huh!?

Bakugo: It doesn't matter as long as you rise to the top.

He then proceeds to leave, provoking another angry response from silver hair.

Kirishima: That's so simple and manly!

Kaminari: Huh?

Sato: You said it.

Kaminari: Huh?

Tokoyami: The top, huh? There is truth in that.

Kaminari: Hang on, don't be tricked! He just made more pointless enemies!

Mineta: He's right! We'll just be at a disadvantage at the sports festival!

(Y/N): Face it, you were all targets to begin with.

Kaminari: Don't pretend you're on any higher horse than us!

(Y/N): I'm just saying, Bakugo or not, everyone's after the heads of all of us. Albeit for different reasons, but potato tomato. So what else can we do but go for gold?

Kaminari: But Bakugo made them hate us even more! And apparently that weirdo also wants your head on a pike more than us! How can you be so calm about this!?

(Y/N): ...Good question.

Mineta: Hey wait a minute! How come that guy has a bone to pick with you, but not the nice new girl!?

Tokoyami, Sato And Kirishima: Nice?

Your group all turn their heads towards Nokogiri. In an instant, her head twists towards you, as a bright threatening red glow emits from her eyes from hell.

(Y/N): *cheerfully* Well are any of you fellas willing to ask why that's the case?

Tokoyami: ...Some mysteries are best left to be forgotten.

That was something everyone agreed upon straight away, and things were left at that. But now that they've brought it up...

Nokogiri: *shoving past you* Oi, bed hair. Let's beat it before those wannabes start clogging the exit.

(Y/N): Yeah...

...You were a bit curious now yourself.

Timeskip

The sun was slowly setting, as you and Nokogiri were walking through town towards your train station home.

(Y/N): If I'm being honest, for a Hero course, it was quite an uneventful first day.

Nokogiri: But we also ran into some... unique characters.

(Y/N): Like that flirty boy? *chuckles* He was as smooth as gravel.

Nokogiri: I'm talking about that purple weirdo.

(Y/N): So am I- Oh, the other one. Yeah, seems I've got more of a target on my back than I thought. But that just begs the question: Why me, and not you?

Nokogiri: *shrugs* Probably doesn't know for certain who's new and who isn't. You were just easier to spot given that reputation you got yourself.

(Y/N): Well if he could remember me from the exam, then he'd remember you for sure, right?

Nokogiri: He would've... If I actually took the original exam.

(Y/N): Huh? Did you miss it or somethi-

Suddenly, a siren erupts from behind the two of you, before an ambulance roars past the students and turns right at the intersection ahead. Following the alarms was the sudden screeching of tires, meaning whatever needed the ambulance was right around that corner.

Nokogiri: Thats... not good.

(Y/N): Hey, whatever it is, it ain't far from here! Let's check it out!

Nokogiri: Wait, you-

But you already took off down the road. Even using your Quirk a little bit.

Nokogiri: -Dumbass.

Sliding around the corner, you come across a gathering of civilians, with the paramedics of the recently parked ambulance pushing there way through the crowd. No doubt, this was the aftermath of a villain attack. As you approached though, you heard things that made you wish you weren't so eager to see what happened.

Citizen 1: She just... ran in? Why would that kid do that?

Citizen 2: *scoffs* At least she tried to do something about the Villain. Not a single Hero pulled there thumb outta their ass and did anything.

By the time you reached the crowd, the people already cleared the way for a pair of officers holding onto a man in handcuffs. The cuffed man had messy black hair, a torn white shirt and black shorts, and a Quirk that gave him scorpion tails that extended from his shoulders... and those tails were coated in blood. The stingers were zip tied together to prevent any further harm, but it was clear that the damage was already done. Because what followed shook you deeply.

Following the escorted villain were the paramedics, moving along a stretcher with someone lying on top. A girl roughly your age with pale green hair and in a high school uniform. But her whole body was bloody, and two holes were present piercing through her chest. The fact that she was still being carried away means that she could still be alive... but you and everyone else around you expected the worst.

Citizen 1: So there was no Pro Hero patrolling here? Nothing?

Citizen 2: Well there should've been. Apparently some Hero called... uh... Sunbearer or something was meant to patrol these parts. Don't know what the hell kept him.

Everyone yelled and cursed at the villain in cuffs as he was escorted into a nearby police car. But you were silent. You slowly took steps back, remembering your talk with the detective a while back.

Tsukauchi: The whole city saw a child take down one monster of a villain. If he could do it, what stops them?

(Y/N): *quietly* Did I... do this?

But then, Nokogiri finally caught up. Coming to a halt right behind you, you turn around and see her out of breath.

Nokogiri: What in the absolute fuck is wrong with ya speedin off like tha-

She was quick to stop herself, seeing you shaken up from something. Catching a glance at the critical conditioned student and the detained villain, she got the idea.

Nokogiri: *sigh* We're probably better off gettin outta here.

(Y/N): Yeah... I really shouldn't have been so eager to see what happened...

Nokogiri: Oi, we didn't know. Besides, if you're gonna be some big shot Hero, you're gonna have to see people like that dead all the time.

(Y/N): *groans* You just really know how to cheer people up.

Nokogiri: Eh, I try. Now let's book it before you get even more gloomy.

She spins around and walks off. With a sigh, you look back over your shoulder one last time, before following after your friend.

(Y/N): *thoughts* If this really was partially my fault...

You then pick up the pace with a new spark in your eyes.

(Y/N): *thoughts* Then I'll keep moving forward and do whatever it takes to stop this.

Timeskip

The U.A. sports festival is only in two weeks time. And on top of that, it'll be broadcasted across the country. These sports festivals are usually what makes a student eligible to be a Pro Hero, no doubt.

Passing through a tall gate, you and Sero enter a recreational city, similar to those in the entrance exam. Rolling your shoulders, you got a feel of the school's blue and white sport uniform.

(Y/N): I'm liking this uniform more than I should.

Sero: Well Good, cause we're stuck with them for the festival.

Looking around, you were wondering where to start, given preparations were left to the students.

Sero: Speaking of which, we've got... absolutely no idea what's ahead.

(Y/N): So what, we gotta hope that we train in the right area?

Sero: *sigh* Seems so.

(Y/N): Actually, we do have some certainty. *punches palm* The battle! They do a bracket fight every year for every grade at the end! We could prepare for that?

Sero: That's only if we make it there alive! And to do that, we need to take this seriously!

(Y/N): Right, serious.

Sero: Super serious.

(Y/N): Extra serious.

Sero: Extremely serious.

(Y/N): 100% serious.

Sero: ...

(Y/N): ...

Sero: How many times can you fall from a building before your Quirk gives way?

(Y/N): Lets find out!

You then both run into the city, taking things completely 'serious'.

Despite that though, you really did take training seriously in the end. Only being in U.A. for two days though, you've yet to really find out yet what you can't do. And with the uncertainty of what's to come in the sports festival, you had nothing you needed to work on to your knowledge.

But with the freedom of using your Quirk inside of U.A, instead of in secret, was something you relished.

On top of a rooftop alone, you stood facing an empty can set atop a low wall on the roof. Double checking your stored kinetic energy, you walk back towards the opposite end of the rooftop. Suddenly, you perform a roundhouse kick towards the empty can, before firing a powerful shockwave from your foot. It creates enough wind pressure to launch the can far off.

(Y/N): Yeah baby! Probably could go for something less flashy though...

You then throw a basic punch, attempting to set off another blast similar to what you just achieved. However, it only gave off a very weak bang. Confused, you shake your hand around and hit it like it's a broken remote, only for you to check your hair streak and see that the colourless white was in place of the usually bright (F/C) glow. Meaning you just spent all your stored energy.

(Y/N): Yeah. Waaay too flashy.

Of course, you weren't the only one preparing. On the other end of the city, another student was swinging between buildings with their Quirk. Knives connected to blood strings struck the tall buildings, as Sakamoto of 1B swung around the city to improve her mobility... whilst also having the time of her life.

Sakamoto: *performing midair backflip* WAHOOOO!

While in the air however, a small glint in the distance caught the girl's attention. But it got closer... and closer... until an empty soft drink can nearly struck her midair. Leaning back in the nick of time, the can flew right past her face, before she shot out a blood string from her forearm and caught it before it got too far. Swinging with only one arm, she landed back onto the ground and retracted both blood strings. One of her knives back in one hand, and an empty can in the other. Looking off towards where it came from, she yelled.

Sakamoto: Nice try stranger!

Inside a neighboring forest beside U.A, small rocks on the grassy surface began shaking faintly, before suddenly shooting upwards and stopping right below the backs of Chikara's hands. He hums quietly as he forms fists, turning the floating rocks into improvised brass knuckles, before throwing a few jabs into the air.

Chikara: *thoughts* As pointless as it is, this rivalry will only drive our two classes against each other for the sake of bettering ourselves. Even so...

He then throws a heavy punch towards a distant tree. The blue ring of his Quirk intensified over his right fist, as the small rocks on that hand got sent flying with enough force to tear down the targeted tree. The shrapnel tore through the wood, having the mighty tree topple over.

Chikara: Only one of our classes will really come out on top this festival.

In a dark empty building far off campus though, a concrete wall had a red X painted on it. Stuck in the wall however were a bunch of playing cards. Suddenly, a Queen of Hearts card struck the wall and embedded itself in the concrete. Only slightly off from the centre of the X. On the other side of the room was the aggressive Nokogiri, who only gave out a disappointed sigh, before a deep Scottish voice from the side called out to her.

???: Not good enough. Again!

Taking out a King of Hearts from her pocket, Nokogiri held it between her fingers, before it began spinning violently like a saw. She then flung the spinning card at the wall, flying in a slight curve through the air, before striking dead centre of the target. Smirking to herself, Nokogiri was about to leave proudly, until...

???: One lucky shot can't be relied upon. Again! Until you perfect it!

Her excitement drained in an instant. With a scowl, she pulls out the next card: an Ace of Spades, before spinning it around between her fingers once more.

Timeskip

And just like that, time passed in the blink of an eye... and the Sports festival has arrived.

Fireworks were launched above U.A grounds, as crowds of people attended stalls, and made their way to the tall stadium that hosted the tournament. Nosy reporters, Pro Heroes, etcetera. The crowds were full of people willing to see the first years particularly.

Inside of 1A's waiting room, you laid back in your chair in the sports uniform, awaiting what's to come.

Ashido: Man... I wanted to wear my costume.

Ojiro: To keep everything fair, we can't.

(Y/N): *slumping forward and resting on the table* Heh. Imagine having a costume.

Sato: I wonder what the first rounds gonna be...

Tokoyami: No matter what comes, we have no choice but to deal with it.

Shoji: Right.

(Y/N): We'll be fine. I hope...

Suddenly, slamming through the door, Class representative Iida calls out to everyone inside.

Iida: Everyone, are you ready? We will be entering soon!

Everyone quickly gets up, preparing themselves.

(Y/N): *deep breath* Showtime.

But before anyone could move: Zuko- I mean Todoroki approaches the green haired boy of the class.

Todoroki: Midoriya.

Midoriya: Todoroki? What is it?

Todoroki: Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you.

Midoriya: Huh? Y-Yeah...

(Y/N): *thoughts* Yeesh... that came up outta nowhere.

Todoroki: But... All Might has his eye on you, doesn't he? I'm not trying to pry about that. But I'm going to beat you.

The class only watched in silence, until it was broken by Kaminari.

Kaminari: Oh? Is the best in the class making a declaration of war?

Kirishima: *placing hand on Todoroki's shoulder* Hey, Hey, Hey! Why are you picking a fight all the sudden? Not now, we're about to start.

Todoroki: *shaking him off* We're not here to play at being friends. *walks off* So what does it matter?

He would've left if Midoriya didn't stop him.

Midoriya: Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me, but of course you're better than me. I think you're more capable than most people... Looking at it objectively...

Kirishima: Midoriya, you probably shouldn't talk so negatively.

(Y/N): Don't tell me you're nothing but negative-

Midoriya: But, Everyone... The students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they've got! I can't afford to fall behind. None of us can. I'll be going for it with everything I have, too.

Todoroki:
