It was a normal day at UA. Too normal to say the truth, there weren't any villains trying to attach, nobody was injured by Bakugo, no one used a quirk. Ok, it wasn't a normal day. Nobody was smiling. Nobody was happy. Even those who were usually sad  or indifferent were even more depressed. Not a smile was seen on anybody. Not on the shy Tamaki, not on the cheerful Mirio, not on the manly Kirishima, nor on the energy Mina. Tokoyami seemed more depressed than usual, and the usually classy Yaoyorozu was a mess. It was a miracle that they even got Todoroki to get out of his room. Not that it was useful, he stayed in the corner, sad. The teacher couldn't really make it, it was no normal day, everybody knew it. Iida, that wasn't moving his arms like a robot scolding someone, knew it. Bakugo, that wasn't threatening someone or yelling, knew it. Hell, even Monoma knew it. The usually arrogant guy wasn't blabbering like always. Luckily, 'cause Kendo wouldn't have had the mental strength to stop him. Mei Hatsume wasn't in the workshop crating something, she was with her friend, Shinso. Their friendship was weird, but nobody really cared. Even the villains were having a bad time. Toga was depressed. Her eye-bags were more pronounced, dry tears stained her face. Shigaraki didn't wear his hands-relatives. Dabi hadn't exit his room at all. In the household of whoever was emotionally near to UA or its students it was a sad day. The day after wasn't any different. Except for one thing. A funeral. Izuku Midoriya's funeral. The UA traitor. The one that could never hurt his classmates, even if he was with the villains. The one that everybody loved. Not loving him was impossible, even after he became a villain. He was a ray of sunshine.  He left an indelible mark on everyone. Hero, Villains, Vigilantes, Citizens. He helped the heroes with those villains who did it 'cause they wanted, and not 'cause they were brought that way. He helped the villains, the understood them. He was what every vigilante recognized as a true hero. He was a hope for the citizens. He was all. He was the most selfless person that ever existed. So selfless that, to stop an hit of Shigaraki, an hit that was meant for his classmates, sacrificed himself. So selfless that even while being a villain was an hero. None of the villains blamed him. That way they had their chance of redemption. But at what price?

Todoroki was the most affected. How couldn't he? The first person that believed in him, his first friend, his first and only love. The only one oblivious for those feeling was Midoriya, and now the would be forever. "If only I was stronger" was all that was in the mind of the young hero-to-be. It was everybody's to say the truth, but he was affected in a way that brought the teacher to ask themselves if he needed mental help to move on. Not that anybody could really move on, after Midoriya. So here they are. At the most-promising-young-pro-hero's funeral. There were even villains and vigilantes that watched, obliviously hidden. That day Todoroki didn't return home. He speeded the night on the tomb of the one that could've been his boyfriend and, why not, his husband. The next day he decided that he had to continue to live, to honor Midoriya. "I'm sorry" were his last words, before kissing his lover's tomb and leaving to his home. Trying to move on, while knowing that nobody would ever forgot the little broccoli. But now was in a better place. Nobody said it. Because it couldn't be. After all, Izuku Midoriya changed lives. He was always alive. Even after his DEATH.

In heaven a dark angel smiled. The angel of redemption smiled. And he started to fly, while his green hair were being played by the wind. While his freckles stood on his pale face, under his big round green eyes. After all, even like that Izuku Midoriya was happy for the others.
