T H I R D P E R S O N

Today was the day that Mackenzie Ziegler would become a part of something. A part of a dream she always had, to pursue it and do it with the person she loves.

As the manager of the record label goes on about how this will all work, Mackenzie nervously twitches her fingers around. Johnny sees this and puts his hand on her to calm her down.

Her hands stop and she glances over at Johnny giving him a big smile. He smiles back at her as they both turn back to face Mr. Lincoln.

"...And all you have to do now is sign the contract and you are signed with us and ready for tour," Mr.Lincoln finished says as he points to the bottom of the paper where Mackenzie has to sign.

Mackenzie nervously picks up the pen to write her signature. She then writes it with a heart and places the pen down, falling back into Johnny's arms as he lets out a chuckle.

Mr.Lincoln stands up to shake the hands of his newest star and his most famous star. They stand up as well. "This has been my great pleasure. We are going to have a blast," Mr.Lincoln says to Mackenzie as he shakes her hand.

"For you Johnny Boy, never give up and never give this lucky lady up," he then replies to Johnny making his cheeks go red at the last sentence. "Thank you," the couple yells to the manager as he was walking out the door.

Mackenzie looks over at Johnny who was blushing bright red after that comment. "You little rosetta boy," she jokes to him, making him more embarrassed. Mackenzie just giggles at him before wrapping her arms around his neck, making him face her.

"You're cute when you blush," Mackenzie says once again as Johnny just chuckles and plants a kiss on her forehead. "I love you my Mckenzis," he whispers to her in his husky voice. She giggles.

"I love you too. Now give me a real kiss," she demands to him as he laughs and plants his lips on hers once again. She smiles before kissing him back. They stay in that position with locked lips until they pull away after 3 minutes.

Johnny puts his forehead on Mackenzie's and smiles at her. Once again he repeats the words that Mackenzie loves to hear, "I love you so much and I am never letting you go."

Her smile gets even wider like every time she has heard those words. "I love you too," she replies to him once more before placing her lips on his again.

Maybe this was their happy ending. Or maybe it was just a start to a new beginning. But all I know is, what's a new start without some drama.

Tour, we're coming for you.

a/n and with that i have officially concluded the end of reconnected. my thank you note end my mini q&a is in the next thing after this! i had the pleasure of writing this book and i hope you all enjoyed it. also it's really early in the morning but i'm publishing this now so i can publish the q&a and thank you later tonight
