16 year old Zoe is your average girl. She has friends, drives a car, and hates school with a passion almost as fiery as her hair. But one night, tragedy strikes as Zoe slips into a coma after an accident. Unbeknownst to everyone else, she lives in a sort of purgatory, where all of the comatose live and play. Life in This place everyone calls "During" is great for Zoe, until she meets Parker, the shy farmer boy who takes a sudden interest in her.

So I know this isn't a fan fic, but I'm putting it here because my friend is writing it and it's really good. Please read it.
