Y/N's POV:

I fucking hate it here. There's no speck of colour and the staff here are only here for the money.

"Y/n, please sit up so I can brush your hair." Well, except Miss Ann.

"Okay." I sat up while sitting in my white bed.

Miss Ann is from America and started working here because Korea's mental health hospitals are in bad conditions in terms of staff... at least, that's what she said.
I'm glad I have her for the majority of the week. However, she does take rest days as well. She doesn't work on Fridays or Tuesdays. Instead, I have a a women called Mrs Yuu.

"It's a nice day out, do you want to go outside?" She asked while putting my hair in a ponytail.

"No." I said.

"Okay, we have a yoga class in an hour. Do you want to join them?" She asked.

"Maybe.." I said.

"That's good, I will be there. In the meantime, I have to go help my other patient. I will see you soon Y/N." She smiled then walked out of the room.

"It's nice to have a nurse that cares for you." One of the girls said. That was Yuna, she shares the room with me with one other girl. The other girl doesn't talk, at all.

"Yeah." I then laid down on my bed, with my back facing her.

"You guys are no fun." She said while pointing at me and Hana, the other girls. I have no idea what she thinks this place is but I'm pretty sure she thinks this is a place for fun.
I don't really like her.

I then heard a knock on our door. Ugh, visiting time.

"Miss Yuna, your mother is here." One of the nurses here said.

"Tell her I'm not coming." Yuna spat back. She should be grateful, at least she is allowed people visiting her.

"Yuna, she had come all this way to just have a conversation with you, you better come out of here." The nurse said while pointing her finger at her. I'm pretty sure the nurse can't do that but I don't have any energy to intervene.

"...fine." Yuna said then slowly walked out the door while I watched her. I guess her mum is the only one in her life that cared for her.

A week later

It's been basically 1/2 a month since I've been here. It's the same but somethings have gotten better.

"Inha, would you like to walk outside with me in this beautiful weather we are having?" Miss Ann asked.

"...okay." I said. I've been going outside a lot more often now. I don't know why but, I feel like it.

"That's great, I heard Miss Yuna is going outside too." She said. Yuna had been a lot more quiet than usual for the last few weeks.

"Okay, that's cool." I said. Miss Ann then gave me my meds and waited for me to get up. When I got up, there was a dip in the bed, where I was lying down for, for the last few weeks.

"Let get going." Miss Ann said.

The patients here are aloud to walk around either with a nurse present or on their own, depending how they act and other stuff.
When I stepped outside, I saw Yuna. She was on her own and seemed to be out of dazed. I walked over and sat next to her.

"Hey Y/N." Yuna said, without taking her eyes off the sky.

"Hey Yuna." We sat in silence most of the time. Miss Ann was behind us, just in case something happens.
"You've been quiet lately, has something happened?" I asked. For the first time, I started the conversation.

"...yeah, I mean. It could be better." She said in a slum tone.

"How come?" I ask.

"Well, my mum visited me yesterday and...let's just say, I'm not going to her house anymore when I get out of here." I nod my head not wanting to ask why, in case I make her feel uncomfortable.

"It's time to go back inside to have our breakfast, Y/N." Miss Ann said while getting up.

"Okay, come on Yuna, let's go eat." I said while walking with Miss Ann. Yuna slowly followed us in.

In the canteen, there was just the patients, 2 officers, a couple nurses and the lunch ladies. I sat in the corner with Yuna. We mostly sat in silence and ate our food. Later on the day, me and Yuna attended this in school lesson thing that was set up for students here. Since being here means that they were missing school and keeping them behind on school work.

While me and Yuna were walking, Yuna suddenly stopped. I turned my head to look at her.
"Something wrong?"

"No...Just, tell the teacher I'm with Miss Ann." She said then sprinted away off to the opposite direction towards the nurses office. I stood there for a few seconds then started walking to the lesson.

I was in my room when I heard lots of nurses running around frantically. I peaked outside and saw Yuna...with scissors in her hand.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed to the lady next to her.

"Miss Yuna, please! Calm down first-"

"NO, IF SHE'S NOT GETTING OUT OF HERE I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL MYSELF!" She then put the scissors towards her neck. Holy shit.

"Yuna...YUNA!"
