Don't worry about the darkness in my soul. It ignites me like an embered coal...

        .Niklaus.

I give out a loud groan, gripping the edges of my table before face planting on to it. Just five more minutes. School would be over and I can go look for Raven, apologize for my mistake and hopefully end up with her.

          I sounded pathetic.

I lift my head and absent mindedly let the class slide on for the last five minutes which feels more like hours. The moment the closing bell sounds, I'm off grabbing my bag and dashing out before anyone else.

I make what is probably the fastest run of my life towards my car, igniting the engine and driving off. I was a man on a mission.

A mission I had no idea where to begin from.

          .Ravenna.

My eyes bolt open as I search for the closest item to grab. My hands come in contact with flesh and I squeeze, not minding what part of the body I was touching.

A gagging sound escapes and I finally look to see Levi's neck in between my hands. I let go and moan, rolling off the sofa I had been placed on.

"Where am I?" I ask, struggling to balance myself.

"Don't worry. We're still in the coffee shop. It's just a mini room for employees." Levi replies my question quite well.

I catch a glance of my jacket on the sofa which I just got up from. "Okay?"

I grab my jacket and stumble towards the door. My eyes struggling to put things in order. My hand misses the door knob on my first try but finally grips it again, only to have me falling against it.

"I'll get you some coffee." Levi tsks, actually walking out the door.

           Show off.

He shows up some minutes later with a mug of coffee and some donuts. I would have preferred scones but I'm not being picky. He places it on the small coffee table in the center of the room and helps me settle on the sofa opposite it.

"You're way too nice," I mumble, carefully grabbing my coffee. I take a huge gulp of the warm liquid and my eyes immediately widen, sending all sort of signals to my brain. I drop the mug and turn to look at Levi who is now beside me. "And this is amazing."

He flushes, his eyes not leaving mine. "Thanks."

"I'm sure to leave a huge tip for this."

He shrugs, dismissing it. "It's on the house."

"This is officially my favourite coffee shop," I shriek. "I don't mind driving four miles for it. I don't care."

"You drove four miles to get here?" He arches his brow and I nod, the coffee seeming to control me now.

"I ran away from home." I suddenly spit out.

"Damn. Wish I had the balls to do that," He chuckles and I go along with it since he's such a character. "I probably shouldn't be asking this since I'm still a stranger and all..."

I cut him off, touching his hand. "We fought a guy who I'll assume to be a drunkard together, you're most definitely not a stranger."

He smiles at my humour and resumes his previous question. "Is there a reason you left home?"

I exhale, slumping my entire body on to the sofa now. I place my legs on Levi's laps, crossing it at the ankle. Who's better to tell your problems to than someone you barely know, right?

"My mom's dead," I start up with that, trying my best not to let any sort of emotion to be portrayed in my voice. Levi doesn't say anything and I like him for that. I like him because he didn't give the usual, wallowing ‘I'm sorry’ or let out awful God forsaking sounds like others usually did. "And my dad's some sort of alcoholic. He doesn't really care, at least I was sure he never did...but now I'm in some stupid fancy ass school for the rich with no idea how I got there and morons who are always on my back."

"Ouch." He feigns empathy, placing a hand to his chest.

"I met this guy, Klaus. He came off as really creepy at first because he hacked my locker and also because almost everyone in the school is weird," I snort. "But then I got to know him, realized he liked me but that's the freaking thing...I don't do relationships!"

I jolt up at that, keeping my legs on Levi's laps. "But in some way, I still found my way towards actually caring about him and he fucks it all up by putting off a pretty bad show and has me thinking I'm all stupid for actually thinking I could let it all down. My walls."

Levi nods, seemingly understanding. "I had a girl too. She left me for my ex best friend."

I stare at his pink lips as they form the words. "That sounds so cliché."

We both chuckle and pivot to look at one another. I find myself grabbing on to him in the next second, as he places his lips to mine. Time flies fast.
