A/N: I've recently been watching Gilmore Girls, with Jared Padalecki. So. I thought I would try something new. And please do not give me any spoilers inn the comments if you've watched it, I'm only on season 4. And this isn't a very imagine, so bare with me please. Thank you and enjoy this.

You had just moved to Star Hollows for you summer. You were originally from (your original home), you were also visiting your mother's brother, Luke Danes, and your cousin Jess.

When you arrived in Stars Hollow, you were greeted by an guy with grey hair, and a very nice lady with red hair, who you learned was Miss Patty. You later learned that the guy owned a market in the town, Doose's Market, and that his name was Taylor and that he was the mayor of the town. They kindly showed to your uncles diner. When you entered, your uncle put down the coffee mug that he was holding, and enveloped you in him arms.

"Hey, how's my favourite niece doin'?" He said pulling away from you, giving you a smile. You peer behind him to see, what looked like, a mother and her daughter, looking at your uncle like he was a mad man.

"Uh. Luke, do you wanna explain something?" The mother asked looking curiously at you now.

"Not really. But because it's you, I'll tell you anyway. this is my niece (Y/N). And sh will be staying here with me and Jess until she goes home, to my sister, at the end of summer." HE said taking your bags from you and going into the back.

"Hello, I'm Loralie, and this is my daughter Rory." She said, giving you a kind smile. "would you like to sit with us?" Offering you a seat.

"Yes please, if you don't mind." You said sitting down in the chair next to Rory.

"So, where are you from?" Rory asked, tucking her hair behind her ear, and also giving you a smile. Everybody seemed so nice at Stars Hollow.

"I'm originally from (where you're from). My cousin Jess, should be working here. Do you know where he is now?"

"No. Last time I saw him he was at Doose's Market, bugging my ex. Oh and also, I don't know what you're going to say, but don't be mad. I dating your cousin"Rory said, kind of backing away into her shell.

"It's okay. I think you're great from the five minutes that I've known you. And I'm glad that he found someone who I didn't like at thanksgiving. Sorry, no offence."

"Non taken." She said. "I think you're pretty great too."

"Okay, so I guess that you're new here. Do you have any where to stay?" Loralie said leaning on the table. "I own an Inn, so if you don't you can stay there away from these boys."

Just on cue, your uncle came out from the back out from the back. "Sorry (Y/N), I don't have any room. Loralie, can (Y/N) stay at the Inn fro the summer, I'll pay." HE asked, you could see alittle chemistry between them.

"Yeah, we were just talking about it ween't we Rory? And of course we can let her stay. And best part, you don't have to pay. You keeping Jess in order is thanks enough." She said standing up and grabbing your bags from your uncles' hands.

Over the next week, you stayed at the Inn. You met so many people. You met one of Rory's friends from school, Paris Geller, and you saw your cousin as well. At the Inn, you met Micheal, the very nice man at the front desk. You also met Sookie and her husband,Jackson, and his baby. the baby was so cute. During the summer you had been working at your uncle's diner, unlike Jess who just sat there reading. You had nothing bad to say about reading, it's just that you thought he should be working instead. Kirk was a reoccurring person in the diner, he was very hilarious in your opinion. And you also met Rory's best friend Lane.

"Hey (Y/N),  can you pick up some more coffee from Doose's Market?" He said from behind the counter, with Jess still reading.

"Yeah, sure thing." You made your way across the square to this corner shop. It had a till with a very cute bagging boy. He was tall, about 6 ft 2". He had long shaggy hair, that covered a part of his face. Shaking your head and getting yourself out of your own mind, you started looking for the coffee. But what you didn't notice, was that he was staring at you when you turned your back.  You had managed to find the isle that the coffee was in, but you didn't know which one to buy, so you just stared at them, hoping that the answer would come to you.

"Hey, what are you staring at?" A deep voice said to your left. You didn't bother to turn your head, scared that you would lose all of your non-existing work trying to figure it out. But you could hear a smile in his voice.

"I'm trying to figure out which coffee my uncle uses." you said still staring at the coffee packets.

"Well, in that case then. Luke uses this type of coffee." The voice says that while grabbing a packet of both caff and decaff coffee, and hands it to you. "My name is Dean By the way."

"Thank you-" You cut yourself off when you say him. He was even more handsome up close. Your saw his blue/green eyes, you could stare into those eyes all day. You could feel the heat rise to your cheeks, and you're sure that he could see it.  But unfortunately, you had to get back. "Thank you for helping me Dean. But I have to go back. But not  before I pay for these, I'm not a shop lifter." You were proud that you didn't stutter. He was making your more nervous by the second.

"Yeah, I'll put these in a bag for you. Can I interest you in a dinner at this other diner that I know?" He asked you, your eyes raising and meeting his. You saw hope behind them, hop that you would say yes.

"Yes, I would love to. But I need to ask my uncle first. He can be very protective over me." You said giving him a sad smile. But he just smiled like it was the end of the world.

"That's okay. I'll meet you st seven in the diner. But only if your uncle says yes, of course." He replied to you, while running your items, placing them in a bag and giving them to you to go.

"Okay. So I'll see you around then. Dean." You say in your best flirting voice. You didn't look back, so you didn't see Dean smiling at you. Until he was shouted at by Taylor for not doing work.

When you got back to the diner you saw Loralie and Rory sitting at the counter waiting for your uncle to serve them. Jess was somewhere. You could see that Rory was upset about something.

"Welcome, what can I get you two?" You asked the two girls in front of you.

"Can we have two coffees please. And also an explanation?"

"Coming right up, and an explanation about what?" Genuinely confused to what was going on right now.

"Why were you with Dean in Doose's?" Rory blurted out, by accident.

"He was helping me pick out the coffee that my uncle uses. I'm sorry if I hurt you in anyway." You say  preparing the coffees as well as talking to them. "I won't go out with him them today, and i-" You were then cut off by your uncle abruptly.

"No 'if's, 'and's or 'but's. If you were going to ask me if you could go out with Dean I would've said 'no' anyway. My job this summer is to protect you, and that also means from boys. So no dating this summer or ever." He says walking and standing next to you.

"What do you mean forever?"

"(Y/N), uh, your mum died from a mass shooting in a shopping market. You're gonna have to stay here now. I'm so sorry (Y/N). I thought it would be less painful this way. Just like ripping off a bandage." You couldn't move, your whole body was frozen. At that moment your whole world came crashing down. Your father had left you and your mom for some random skank that he met in a bar, and now your mom is dead. You bolted out of the door, ignoring Rory's apology for snapping at you earlier, along with your uncle's and Loralie's screams for you to come back.

You just ran and ran and ran to the lake where you saw Dean already sitting there, almost like he was waiting for you or something. he heard your footsteps, so he turned his head to see you, tears streaming down your face. He stood up  and embraced you. Now, because he was so much taller than you were, he rested his chin on your head, while he let you cry into his chest. And you both just stood there in each others arms. You were both so concentrated in holding each other, that you didn't notice Loralie, Rory, Jess or your uncle standing there just watching the two of you. And the sunset in the background made it look like something from a fairytale or a movie. After a minute or two, they left. And you and Dean just sat on the pier and talked about your place in the universe and what life was. (This is what I think about on a day to day basis).

Meanwhile back at Luke's Diner, the gang were having a discussion about what they just saw.

"Did you really have to tell her she can' date Dean. I mean, you saw how in love they were at the pier." Loralie screamed at Luke as he was trying to clean up after hours.

"I did. I'm now her legal guardian. I need to protect her, and as much as I like Dean, I can't really one hundred percent trust him with (Y/N). And especially since he broke Rory's heart. No offense Rory."

"Non taken Luke." She replied and turned back to her book, with Jess reading over her shoulder.

"Kids, can you both go home. Jess you go with Rory . Me and Luke have to talk."Loralie explained, not taking her glare off of Luke, which honestly scared the crowd out of him. "You had just told the poor girl that her mother died. I know that you lost your sister, but she lost the woman that raised her. The least you could do is let her date Dean."

They kept bickering on and on, so much that when the bell rang they were still arguing. they didn't take notice that Dean was standing there at the door, until he cleared his throat. That was the only thing that made the two break apart their conversation.

"What do you want Dean?" Loraie asked as nicely as possible, despite her white hot rage.

"I would like to ask Luke if I can have (Y/N)'s hand in being her boyfriend." He asked hoping that Luke would say yes.

"I don't really have time for this now, as much as I would like to say no. I'm still gonna say no. And that's not because I don't trust you, but it's that-Yeah i can't come up with a better reason for you not dating."

"Please, can I date her?! I promise not to hurt her please, just let me take her out on at least one date!" Dean Shouted at the top of his lungs.

"If I let you take her out would you please leave Jess alone, and stop getting him into trouble?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay then. Yes. You can. But if you break her heart, you'll be seeing stars for a year, and probably more if I feel like I'm in the mood."

"Thank you. You won't regret it Luke. I'll tell her right now." Rushing out of the diner, and bumping into the door frame on his way out. He ran as fast as he could across the square and barged through the door of The Dragonfly Inn, Loralie's Inn. Considering that he was like a moose on steroids, he ran up the stairs in what seemed like 10 seconds. He kept banging on your door, praying for you to open it. And you did, he thought you looked adorable  in a baggy sweater and jogging bottoms (Sweat Pants).

"Dean, what do you want. It's now... 11pm. I have work tomoro-" You were cut off by a pair of soft lips on yours. Your hands instinctively went to his neck and hair, his hands went to your waist. He pushed you through the door an you both landed on the couch.

"You.Uncle. Approves." He managed to say between kisses. The night went on that way. You both hoped that your uncle didn't somehow find out about that night.

In the morning you awoke to an arm around your waist, and your naked waist. You opened your eyes and turned you head to be met with Dean. He looked so peaceful like that, his eyes lids were shifting, which told you he was dreaming, and his mouth was opened a bit to breathe. Your eyes were starting to make their way to what was underneath the sheet. But unfortunately, a voice cut you off  from proceeding.

"Morning beautiful." His Chicago accent filled your ears. You were so bust staring that you didn't notice his eyes open and start staring at you with pure love.

"Morning handsome. How are you?"

"Absolutely fabulous." Kissing you once more.

You both got out of bed and went to the diner for breakfast, only to be greeted by the same people who watched you hug last night. They congratulated you both on getting together, much to Luke's disliking. you started going to the local highschool. You began to make friends, including Lane. After you graduated, you and dean moved into together. HE asked you to marry him a year after, and you had a son, named Paxton. A few years later you had a daughter, named Amelia.

And you both live dout your days in Stars Hollow.
