Chapter 35 -Manly Hugs

Ellie's P.O.V.

It's been a week since Claire and Sam arrived, They know everything about me, And Were introduced to Gunner, Jackson,and Chad, Yesterday.

I'm going to meet Emily, The last gurdian today, After training.

Emily was older than any of us, Around 70. She was the orange Guardian, And has telekinesis and brains.

But right now something more important than anything was happening.

We we're at the ceremony for the next third in command, And Colten hasn't even told me who it is.

All he's said was, I will approve.

"Now with the loss of our previous Third in command, We are doing this in Henry Stephan's memory, He was a good man, And our next third in command is too. Today I will announce the next third command for blue moon pack." Colten's deep voice sounded through the hall. "This man is, Trusting, Caring, And a good leader. He's strong and although he had a rough patch in his life, I do believe he's over come it and now can take the responsibility as third command."

"All rise in respect for our newest, Third command." As the pack rised. "Jake Curtis."

Jake's name hit me like a ton of bricks, knocking the air out of me. My own brother was third command, what he always wanted to be- I was so proud of him. I was least expecting him, But why wouldn't he be the third command, He's a great leader.

I was snapped out of my thoughts, When Gunner blew a whistle with his two fingers as everyone around us clapped. Soon enough Jake was accepting the title by shaking Colten and I's hands at the front.

But before Jake could shake my hand he grabbed it and pulled me in for a hug.

"Thank you." He whispered into my hair.

"Don't thank me, I had nothing to do with it, It was all Colten."

Jake and I pulled away from the hug, And after hearing what I said Jake was hugging Colten.

Never in a million years would've thought I'd see that.

Training went oddly normal today, Claire And Sam joined us, Gunner was showing off, And Colten wouldn't stop pushing me.

"Come on Ellie, You've done it before!" Colten encouragingly screamed from the bottom of the rock wall.

He expects me to jump from it.

Yes, I've done it before, But this was a taller one. And before I had the help of my wolf, But now she's cowering in the corner.

"It's too high!" I wined. "Can you just come get me or something?" Sitting on the top of the Rock wall.

"Here Colten, I'll help." Gunner said talking a break from his weights.

"And how do you think you'll get me do-"

"Ellie, Jump down." Gunner said, With mind control, Cutting me off from my previous statement.

Stupid mind Control.

And with that command, I jumped freely off the wall without hesitation, My mind was screaming for me to stop, But my body had other plans and swiftly landed me on the ground.

"Awe, No tricks?" Gunner mocked, Which I replied with a very un-lady like snort.

"Your getting good at that." Colten said impressed.

"Ooo, My turn for me to try my powers on Ellie!" Claire said running from her previous training.

"Claire- Please, I-" I was cut off from my begging, When Claire grabbed my hand.

I saw my parents.

"These are some Old couple I met, There very nice. I thought it would be nice for you to meet them." Claire said, Oblivious to my discomfort.

My mother still looked beautiful, Her brown hair was long reaching her lower back, There were slight wrinkles on her face, And she wore a little brown dress, Showing her bones that stuck out from underneath her skin.

My father looked, Huge. Muscles everywhere, Veins popped out on his forehead and arms, And he wore a black t-shirt and jeans, His hair was a dirty blonde, And he looked a lot like Jake.

I couldn't handle seeing them, The people who made my life a living hell for 14 years, The reason why Marty knew of my existence, The reason why Attackers were coming. The reason For my life being a living hell. And the reason for me to be breathing.

I did the most reasonable thing thinkable, I screamed.

Letting go off, Claire's hand. I screamed falling to the ground, As my parents vanished from my eyes, Tears fell freely from my face, And Colten was immediately by my side rocking me back and forth.

"Shh..." He soothed me. "What the hell did you do to my Mate?!" He boomed at Claire.

"I-I-I Don't know." She was about to cry. "T-there Was a-a nice couple. I thought s-she would like them."

"Adam, Jake!" Colten called, Immediately they were rushing outside.

"Ellie, What's wrong, What did you do?" Jake said immediately rushing to my side.

"Ask Claire."

I couldn't tell what Claire and Jake were talking about, But before I knew it, Claire was showing Jake the couple, My Parents.

I knew it wasn't a good Idea to show Jake, Them considering he has a bad past with them, Killing them, Mad at them for shipping me away, And now this. It was clear in Jake's Eyes he was furious, As soon as he laid eyes on them, I quickly crawled away from Colten's grasp and ripped Claire's hands from Jake's.

"Ellie, I need to sh-"

"You can't He'll get u-"

"I already seem them." Jake said cutting me off. "It was our Parents." He said Parent's with such venom.

Before i could speak again, Jake shifted and ran into the Forest, Several minutes later a howl of anger was erupted throughout the trees, Sending all the bird in the tree's to the sky.

"I'm So sorry, Ellie- I had no idea!" Claire said, Tears slowly falling from her face.

"it's fine."

After some serious thinking, I was now in the pack house kitchen, Drinking a hot tea with a blanket wrapped around me. Claire was back to her old bubbly self but I think she was still a little shaken about earlier. Jake hasn't came back yet, I don't think he will be tonight.

But there was something else on my mind.

Aweser that only my parents new.

Why they gave me up to the hunters in the first place.

And I needed to find out.

"I need to talk to them, Again."

Hey guise!

So the book is coming closer to an end, some of the books big mysterys are being awesered and the book is coming closer to the end.

All we need is... Attackers.. But who knows they might not ever come?

Anyways, A little hint to the next chapter, Ellie finds out her powers. :)
