Chapter 28 -Guardian

Ellie's P.O.V.

He's like me?

He had pitch black fur, Yellow dangerous eyes, And glowed a electrifying yellow.

All I could think was, What the heck?!

The Two other rouges were stopped dead in there tracks, starring in disbelief. I couldn't pull out of the gaze the Glowing wolf held on me, It was Like he wasn't letting me.

"Ahem?" I snapped out of my gaze and straight to two young boys standing, where the two wolves were previously.

"Shift." The other one said, I could already tell he was the more serious, stern and scary one out of the two.

With hesitation I shifted, As did the Other glowing wolf beside me.

Why Did I just follow order's from a .. Twelve year old?

I stayed on my hands and knees as I covered my body, My Long Hair covered most of myself but I was not gonna stand up and test that theory.

"Who are you?" The More serious boy said.

"I should be asking you the same thing." I snapped back.

"Look, Obviously there's something different about you and why we let you live but-"

"Let Me Live?" I asked hysterically. "I could of easily taken you on." Cutting him off as I laughed and a snarl formed into his mouth.

"You better watch it or-"

"Or What? You'll send your friend on me? If you haven't noticed I was winning when he attacked me." Pointing toward the taller man that snood a few steps away from me that I was just previously fighting. "Now, we are gonna do this my way." I declared and continued, Not letting them argue. "What are you're names?"

"Why should we te-"

"That's Jackson, Beside him is Chad and I'm Gunner." The older guy said cutting off who I now know as Jackson.

Gunner was a tall blonde, His hair fell around his eyes, As his broad shoulders made his shirt un-necessarily tight, High cheek bones and straight nose, His eyes were a light grey. He screamed Player.

Chad was like a mini-Gunner, Blonde, Green eyes, High cheek bones, Skinny but had a little muscle, In a few years he would probably end up to look just like Gunner.

And Jackson was the most intriguing out of all of them, His hair was messy and black, Ice cold eyes and pale skin, If he was older he would definitely be very scary, He had a mysterious aura that swarmed around him and just by his vibe I could tell he had a rough past. (Picture on side)

"Gun, Why did you do that?!" Jaskson cried.

"Because she has some sort of authority that I don't want to mess with." Gunner said then turned to me. "Who are you?"

"Ellie." I said politely. "Is this some sort of joke?" Gunner gave me a amused look as the other two looked confused. "Why do You glow?"

"I should be asking you the same question." He smirked followed by a sigh. "You don't know, Do you?"

"Wh-"

"There's more than just us." He said with all seriousness. "We glow because we have a purpose in this world."

"And that would be?"

"I'll save that story for another time, Lets get us some clothes first." He said getting up and shifted with a little head tilt, Signaling that I should follow.

With a huff, and hesitation I shifted and followed.

 I followed them through the thick woods for around five minutes until we came to a clearing where a small Pale yellow trailer sat, Around the area there were lawn chairs, Scattered beer bottles and a small fire pit. On the roof there was a Satellite dish barely hanging along with leaves, Signaling fall was coming.

"This is where you live?" I asked well I slowly took hesitant steps towards the messy living area.

"Sometimes." Gunner said mysteriously.

"He mean's this is our summer house, You know, To get away from life as we know it." Chad chuckled.

He was right though, Life as we know it today is awful, People bullying, Full of them self bitches, And starving children in Africa. Let's not forget about the abusive kidnappers.

How could I forget about that?

"Let's go in, Get a beer, And tell you about each other." Gunner is enthusiastically.

"Alright." I said following into the trailer, As the screen door to the trailer made a 'scrreeech' Sound when we opened it.

"Take a seat anywhere." Chad said motioning for me to do as told.

The trailer was what you would expect for three teen-aged boys, The kitchen table was made into a bed, Food everywhere, Clothes lying around, The couch unmade as it was a bed to, And more beer cans... On the right side of the room was a door that lead into what I guessed the master bedroom, And on the left was a small hallway with two doors, A closet and Bathroom.

Hesitantly I sat down on the unmade Couch.

"Sorry About the mess, I mean't to clean up but-"

"Don't Lie, It's not good for you." Jackson cut in before Gunner could finish his 'Lie'

"Don't Lie, It's not good for you." Gunner mocked in a high pitch girly voice.

This resulted in pushing and shoving, Until Chad cut in and pointing to me reminding them I was still here and waiting for awesers.

"Right." Gunner chuckled. "Ellie. As you seen out there I glow, Yellow." Gunner's goofy child like personality was gone in a flash and was now quite serious, Kinda like Jackson.

I nodded.

"Well, You glow too, your blue. Which means your one of us, Me and a few other people in the world, I don't really know why we glow different colors, Something we will have to figure out? But What I do know is." 

"We were created by the Moon goddess, We are mean't to protect mortal's And all living things that can't fend for them selves, But with being one of us come's responsiblitltis and consciences, We have to protect, We will be given a role in life that we have for fill, Become warriors, Healers, Some even Alpha's, Were stronger than an average wolf, But we also are more given away by our color's It will bring attention towards us, Sometimes danger."

"What are we?"

"We're guardians"
