Chapter 10 - They Want ME

After the Short converstation with Colten and Herney, I went seaching for Her, She's the only one who knows what I am and who can truely understand me right now.

"Have you seen Beth?" I asked a random pack member, Who pointed to the couch where Adam and Beth sat rubbing noses and giggling.

I walked over to them and cleared my throat which got them both to look at me. "Beth can I talk to you?" I said as my voice cracked at the end, On the verge of crying.

"Uh yeah sure." She got up from adam and pulled my arm. "Where do you wanna talk?"

"Somewhere private." She nodded her head and took me outside and after about 5 minutes of walking she stopped at a clearing.

"This should be far enough for no one to hear us." She said looking around and then looking back at me. "What's the matter?"

"The hunters.... There coming."

"Oh, Adam told m-"

"They want ME." Pushing the tears back i countuinied on. "There the same hunters from before- The ones that took me."

Beth was silent for a minute trying to figure out what I mean't but i guess it all clicked once she spoke. "There the ones who had you?" She said Proebebly Just to tell herself that.

"I need to do something to get my mind of this." I said standing up and pacing.

"A run?"

"Won't they see me?"

"We'll be fine."

"we'll?"

"Yes, I'm coming."

I nodded my head as she went behind a tree and shifted, When she came back she was a golden wolf, with her big grey eyes. I went behind the tree and shifted into my wolf, It felt great to be back in my wolf but I also felt a little self-conscious because I was so different from her... I was a black wolf that emit blue radioactive waves, with big blue eyes. My dad always told me, He could see my eyes from a mile away, That's how big and full they were.

Finally comming out, Beth didn't seem effected by how diffrent I was she just turned around and started to run. After about a half-an-hour of running beth stopped at a small creek and took a drink.

'Crack' Went a tree branch.

'Crack' Again on the forest floor, Coming from all around us.

'Crack' Again it went, like someone was watching us and waiting to get us, Except they weren't quite.. well at least not for me, Beth didn't even seem to notice all the sounds happening around us she just went on drinking the water.

Then I seen it from the corner of my eye, A big brown/red wolf was watching us and going in circles around us. Then another one a little smaller but there were to red/brown wolfs surrounding us getting ready to attack there prey.

Rouges

These were rouges, Getting ready to hurt us and attack... Except they weren't being very quite about it at least not for me.

I quickly nugged Beth and pointed my snout in the direction of where they are, She seemed confused about what was going on, Then I assumed she took a sniff of the air and instantly came alert,That there were rouges about to attack us.

Then out came the bigger one, Growling at us, Trying to intimidate us, It was working on Beth because she started going towards the ground and whimpering, She was gonna give up that easy?

Not me I was gonna put up a fight. so instead of whimpering I growled back, Which both the rouge and Beth looked taken back by it.

Then I knew exactly what there plan was, i seen the smaller rouge from the corner of my eye at my side still a good 10 feet away, But he was getting ready to pounce at me. Of course they didn't know I knew about both of them.

Then the bigger rouge shifted right in front of me, He wasn't like most werewolves he still looked like a scrawny human, He had a slight grey beard and looked tired and hungry.

"I ushally don't do this but... What the hell are you?!" He pretty much screamed at me, Proebely becasue I was emiting blue radioactive waves.

"Come on, Sunshine change so you can tell me your little secret?" He said coming closer to me.

Then I seen the smaller one, Comming right at not me but Beth, Beth didn't even notice. what I assumed it as getting rid of the useless.

But I didn't approve of that because I jumped in mid-air over Beth and onto the smaller rouge, biting his neck and instantly killing him. Then the bigger rouge shifted back and pounced at me, Which caused Beth to pounce on him, But the rouge didn't even look taken back by her and with one small swing she was flying and hit a tree and whimpered in pain.

I grabbed the rouge by the neck and shifting positions so I was now on top of him, And bit his neck so it wouldn't kill him instantly but a slow death.

Once I was about to go to Beth he manageed to talk a little bit.

"Can you at least aweser m-my question?"

I shifted back into my human form and crouched close to him and whispered in his ear.

"Hunters, Are cruel people." And with that I got up and walked towards Beth who was also now in human form holding her shoulder, As I tended her shoulder that looked to be popped out of place he kept talking.

"Your stronger- than .... most werewolves." He was having a tough time talking because of him bleeding out.

"I knew you could hear me- before... But how?" He thought to himself "Those hunters, Did you a favor."

"Your strong-" As he huffed for breathe "Stronger than an alpha-" and with that he died right there finishing his sentence with me being stronger than an alpha.

"What was that about?" Beth said "Ow, ow ohhhh" She said as I popped her shoulder back in place.

"I'm not sure, Come on lets head back..Here." I said handing her, her clothes that she was caring in her mouth and grabbing mine as we quickly put our clothes back on.

Once we got back to the pack house Beth stopped me saying one last thing "you are strong" and with that she walked back inside.
