Class ended, it was recess now and Chenle walked away leaving Renjun alone. There, he got to meet up with one of the few friends he got to know thanks to the class.

"Hey, Xiu Ying", the boy smiled.

"Lele~", Xiu Ying replied with the same smile as they walked side by side.

Meanwhile Renjun walked out of the class alone, not thinking much as he went to the back of the school. It was still there, the grassy spot that provided enough shade from the sun.

Not hesitating to lie down on it, he brought a hand up to his head as he closed his eyes hoping to take a quick nap during recess.

"Hey", Jihye sat on the grass next to Renjun.

Sensing her presence, he opened an eye. "Oh, it's you"

Wait. "What are you doing here?"

She sat down not far from where Renjun was at, leaning back on the tree with legs stretched out.

"Still not on good terms with Jaem, so it's kinda awkward between the boys and I. That's why, plus I claim this spot as mine too okay?"

"I didn't agree to that, but whatever makes you fly high then, butterfly"

After getting comfortable, Jihye took out a cereal bar and gave one to Renjun as well.

"No thanks", he declined.

"Are you sure?", with furrowed brows, Jihye tried to convince him.

After consecutively five pestering comments, "You just want me to take it just so you don't feel guilty, don't you?"

"Yes, so take it", Jihye didn't try to defend and openly revealed herself, leading the cereal bar that she was still holding to be taken by another hand.

He chuckled. "Alright then"

Feeling a bit happy, Jihye ate her cereal bar as the two sat in serenity. Swaying her legs side to side, she looked like a child who was excitedly waiting for something, except she didn't expect anything at all.

At some point, she turned her head. There was Renjun, his eyes closed. In his hands was the cereal bar left without a single bite, but that didn't matter when Jihye kept her eyes on him.

Slowly glancing over every bit of his features, she silently admired how his long lashes were at the brim of his closed eyelids. His blonde hair that framed his face and also fell onto his eyes. With lips parted out a bit, her eyes didn't miss the glisten on his right cheekbone that was adorned with piercings, two half sphere metal balls that bounced off the sunlight that hit them.

In all honesty, Renjun was just really breathtaking to look at, just like the first time she said it.

"I know I'm hot but your eyes are making me shy", Renjun spoke out of the blue that made Jihye look away, a hue of deep red touching her cheeks.

"H-how did you know?", she stuttered.

"With the amount of times people stared at me, I'm basically a living sensor to people's eyes", Renjun fluttered his eyes opened and looked upside down to see a flustered girl.

"I-I", the girl was still speechless for getting caught so easily and her face burned even more red.

Renjun who found it amusing, decided to tease her even further. "What's wrong darling? Thinking about me until you can't speak?"

Coming closer, he let his hand comb through her black hair. "Maybe you're thinking of how perfect our hands will fit, how good we'll look together...", at this point, Renjun hovered over her panicked state and had a smug smile etched on his lips.

"And how'll fucking nice it'll be for our lips to be together, our breaths mixing, hands all over the place, before we eventually take this to the bed"

He leaned in closer to the point his hot breath tickled her neck, whispering in a hushed tone that was rougher than usual. They were so close that Jihye could feel the coolness of the metal piercings pinching at her neck, making her shiver between the contrast of hot and cold.

Her breath jagged, she was blinking profusely. She knew this was wrong, but secretly she liked it? The feeling of her heart beating 50 times more per second, the thumping making the blood in her veins rush. With Renjun bringing it up, she did wonder for a split second how it would feel to have their lips together.

"I- you-", Jihye shook her head and quickly sat up, almost bumping into Renjun if it weren't for his quick reflexes to move away. She felt breathless, although they hardly even did anything.

Without any word, she quickly got up and ran, leaving Renjun to lazily gaze at her disappearing figure.

"She's cute", Renjun sighed as he laid down again. Sparing a glance at the cereal bar, he decided to take a bite out of it.

While chewing, he inhaled while trying to stifle the smile that made its way onto his lips. It was a fail though, because he ended up giving one of the biggest smiles ever.

"I like you, don't I?"
