Extension of Chapter 15.
This is not a required chapter to read. Don't feel like you're obligated to read it, but it shows how Dimitrius and Jericho's relationship builds.
Picture of Dimitirus above 😅

He couldn't believe he was doing this.
Dimitirus roamed the hallways of the school, looking for one particular person. As he walked by people gave him glances, and he would ignore or glare at them, which they would result in them looking away. He would rather be behind the school, smoking a cigarette that he had somebody buy from him, but Dimitrius decided that he needed to go ahead to get what he need to do out of the way. His parents were making him apologize to Jericho, for the fact that they didn't need their reputation to be more ruined because of their son. Still, he probably wouldn't have done it, but they threatened to cut off his allowance, and he definitely didn't need that.
Thinking about his parents, Dimitrius unconsciously rubbed his arm, then wincing in pain once he felt the red welp that was now on his arm. He had more, but his parents were cautious to make sure that his bruises weren't seen, wasn't visible, or seemed as they were minor bruises that could've been made by Dimitirus.
He could've moved out of his parent's house, seeing as he was eighteen, but they wouldn't let him. He thought because of how he acted they would've been glad to get rid of him, but that wasn't the case. They actually wanted him to stay, which was unbelievable.
But he had a plan, though. As soon as had all the money that he needed he was going to go away, even if he didn't graduate. That's why he didn't need his allowance to be cut, and that's why he was apologizing.
So as he weaved his way through the students, Dimitrius saw the familiar but annoying figure of the person he wanted to see less right now. Jericho was on the ground, sitting Indian style with a book in his lap, reading it. There was nobody around him, for the fact that they were weirded out by him. Dimitirus wasn't, though, and he let it show.
But people always knew he was taking a risk messing with the boy.
Manning up for his hopefully soon to be freedom, Dimitirus approached the boy, stopping once he was in front of him. Dimitirus would've thought that Jericho would've looked up, cause there was no doubt that Jericho didn't see the shadow, but Dimitirus realized he was probably used to this. He thought that Jericho just ignored the shadow, hoping who it was would go away.
Growing irritated, Dimitirus lightly kicked the boy enough to get his attention. Feeling the kick, Jericho hesitantly looked up from his book, coming eye to eye with one of the dozens of people he was scared of. Growing nervous all over, Jericho already began to start shaking, and his anxiety was kicking in.
"U-um, h-hi Dimitirus," Jericho stumbled out, closing the book and adjusting his glasses that he rarely wore, trying his best to avoid eye contact.
Dimitrius raised an eyebrow, noticing Jericho as trying to avoid eye contact, and he felt himself growing more annoyed. He hated when people didn't make eye contact with him when they were talking.
"Look at me, Jericho," Dimitirus demanded, his rough voice frightening the younger boy. Jericho nervously looked up and met Dimitirus eyes. Dimitirus noticed that the boy was scared, but he didn't care. He was used to it.
"Y-yes?" Jericho asked, his body growing hot all over. He hated being in situations like this, and he wanted nothing more but to be out of it.
Dimitirus took a deep breath, debating if his parent's reputation was worth what he was about to do. Dimitirus hated apologizing, and this was his first time in a while doing it. But, he remembered the benefits of apologizing, so he swallowed his pride aside and rushed out, "I'm sorry for what happened in Mr. Malik class the other day."
Dimitirus rushed it out so fast that Jericho didn't even have a chance the register what he said. "W-what?" Jericho responded dubiously, tilting his head to the side.
Dimitirus closed his eyes, an attempt to calm down his temper. He ran his hand through his long, black hair that fell to his shoulder and said, "I'm sorry for what happened in Mr. Malik class last week. Please don't make me repeat what I said or I won't hesitate to punch you in the middle of the hallway."
There, he had it out.
And it took him a lot of setting his pride aside to say it.
Jericho looked at Dimitrius with wide eyes, not expecting him saying what he did. First, Dimitirus seemed like the type of person to never apologize, even if it is his fault. Second, he was debating if the apology was sincere or not, or if he was told to do it. Jericho wouldn't have been surprised, though. Jericho had a feeling that what happened was going to happen again, so inside he really didn't accept the apology. Dimitirus was one of the main people to hurt him.
"I-its o-okay. N-nothing I'm n-not used to," Jericho mumbled, opening his book back up to the page where he had his finger.
Hearing this, a bit of guilt surged through Dimitrius. He knew that Jericho was picked on a lot and didn't have any friends, and that was partially his fault. Even though there were others that bullied Jericho, he was the main one in Jericho's case, never failing to make Jerichos life harder than it already was.
But that guilt quickly went away, Dimitirus not wanting his emotions to win the best of him at the moment. Jericho was and will always be a weirdo to Dimitirus, and he was never going to fail in letting Jericho know that.
"Uh, whatever. Later need," Dimitirus says, turning around to go outside. He really needed that cigarette right now.
-
"Fücking idiot," Dimitirus grumbled as he made his way out of his fifth-period class, heading to his sixth. His teacher, Ms. Maddox, gave him detention for the fact that Dimitirus called her out on one of the problems she did wrong. Just because he didn't attend classes a lot, didn't mean he was dumb and that he didn't miss mistakes. She was just butt hurt that he called her out and the class laughed.
The reason he even attended the classes today was his parents required him to go to them. They told him that they didn't want to have a call home from the school saying he skipped classes, or his punishment was going to be worse than it has been already.
And that was saying a lot.
Dimitirus rubbed his chest at the sudden burning feeling, and he winced as he touched what he guessed was a bruise. He thought that he should invest in thicker clothes.
He made his way towards his sixth-period class, being Mr. Malik's class. When he entered the class, there was already a few students there. Not making eye contact with anybody, Jericho made his way to his seat in the back. He felt eyes burn the side of the face, but he didn't dare to look to see who had the nerves. Sitting his stuff down, Dimitirus pulled out the chair and sat down and huffing, not wanting to be in the class.
Dimitirus watched as more students made their way inside of the classroom and to their seat. A surge of irritation went through him. He didn't want to be in a class filled with dumbasses and people with sticks so far up their ass.
Just then Jericho entered the classroom, stopping at the entrance. Dimitirus watched as Jericho and Mr. Malik exchanged a greeting before Jericho started to walk again. While walking, Jericho and Dimitirus made eye contact and held it as Jericho approached the desk. Dimitirus furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"Uh, hello?" He greeted awkwardly.
Jericho scratched the back of his neck. "U-uh, Hi D-Dimitirus. I-Is it o-okay if I sit r-right here?" Jericho asks nervously, stumbling over his words.
Dimitirus was shocked that Jericho even asked that. He would've thought that Jericho wouldn't have wanted anything to do with him.
But that didn't stop him from being a jerk. "Don't think because I apologized to you earlier that we are now friends. You're still a nerd and a weirdo to me, and that's all you will ever be," Dimitirus retorts with no remorse. Hurt and sadness flashed through Jericho, and he had a sad look on his face, but Dimitirus didn't care as he continued. "You can sit with me, but don't you dare try to make a conversation with me."
Jericho was stunned for a moment before nodding his head slowly, leaving his head down afterward. "O-okay," Jericho whispered, taking his seat beside Dimitrius after putting his stuff down. Dimitirus watched him as he did so, and once Mr. Malik started talking he still didn't remove his eyes.
-
Dimitirus learned against his Audi r8, which he was in the process of getting put in his name. Even though he was still in the parking lot, that didn't stop him from smoking the cigarette that was in his mouth.
He was about to get into the car until something caught his eye. He noticed that Jericho was turning on the side of the building, walking on the sidewalk. Dimitirus furrowed his eyebrows, and he flicked the cigarette on the ground, opening the car door getting inside. He closed the door behind himself and pressed the start button. Once the car was on, he put on his seat belt then put the car in gear, going out of the parking spot to catch up with Jericho.
It didn't take him long to catch up with Jericho. The familiar figure of the smaller guys body with his arms wrapped around himself came in view. As Dimitirus approached him, he slowed down and rolled down the window.
Hearing a car approach him, Jericho slowed down and looked at the car. Once he saw who it was his eyes widened and he turned his head, starting back walking.
"Hey, nerd!" Dimitirus shouted out the window. Jericho pretended like he didn't hear him and continued to walk. "I know you hear me!"
Crap.
Caught, Jericho slowed down to a stop and looking at Jericho. "Y-yes?" He asked.
Dimitrius car came to a complete stop. "Why are you walking?" Dimitirus asked. "It looks like it's about to rain."
Jericho looked up at the sky and Dimitirus was right. "B-because I don't h-have a c-choice," Jericho mumbled.
Dimitirus don't know what possessed him to ask this question. "Do you want a ride?"
Jericho's eyes widened hearing this, and he didn't know how to respond for a moment. Ride with the person that makes his life ten times harder, or walk in what looks like about to be rain.
The latter was better for him.
"N-no thank you," he responds as he started back walking. Annoyed, Dimitirus followed Jericho with his vehicle. He doesn't know what he was doing or why.
"I'm no longer asking. Get your ass in here, or I swear tomorrow is not gonna be a good day for you," Dimitirus demanded.
Fear zoomed through Jericho hearing this, and he realized he was trapped. He didn't need anything harder for him.
Sighing, Jericho gave in and walked over to Dimitirus car. Dimitirus unlocked the door and Jericho opened it, getting inside the vehicle. Once he was inside, he closed the door and put on the seat belt. When he had it on, he turned towards Dimitirus who was looking at him with an intense gaze.
"W-what?" Jericho asked nervously under Dimitirus gaze, playing with the straps of his bag.
"What's your address dipshit?" Dimitrius asked annoyingly, losing his patience. He honestly didn't know why he offered Jericho a ride.
"O-oh," Jericho whispered, then proceeded to tell Dimitirus his address. Dimitirus punched the address in on his GPS, and once he set the route, he then made his way towards it.
The ride was long, awkward, and tense as hell. How another way it was supposed to be? Dimitirus was Jerichos' bully, and Dimitirus made Jericho life a living hell. Jericho really didn't know why Dimitirus offered him a ride.
"W-why a-are you doing this?" Jericho asked, breaking the silence. Dimitirus looked over at Jericho with an annoyed look, causing him to look away in fright, and Dimitrius sighed.
"I honestly don't know. It was about to rain, and I guess I didn't want you to be sick," Dimitirus lied. He didn't know the reason why.
Jericho tilted his head to the side, confused. "B-but there a-are others who w-walk home, why n-not ask them t-to-"
"Can you shut the hell up and accept the fact that I'm trying to do something nice for you? God, it's like you want me to be mean to you!" Dimitirus yelled, losing his temper. Jericho flinched, and fright overtook him, scared that Dimitirus was going to do something to him. His eyes started to water too.
"W-well that's all y-you ever are to m-me, so that's a-all I e-expect," Jericho mumbled hesitantly, feeling like he just made the biggest mistake in the world.
Dimitirus wasn't expecting that response. Hell, he wasn't expecting one at all, but the response made him feel guilty. Jericho was right, though. All Dimitirus ever was is mean to him, so that's all he ever thought Dimitirus would be to him.
"Whatever," Dimitirus responded softly, wanting to get the last word. He continued to drive to Jericho's house, the only sound coming from the engine of the car. Noticing this Dimitirus reached over to his radio and turned the volume up, trying to ignore the fact that Jericho flinched when he did that.
Short after that, it didn't take them to arrive at Jericho's house. When the GPS said you have reached your destination, Dimitirus noticed that he stopped in front of a two-story, Victorian looking house. It was a beautiful place.
"W-well," Jericho said, Dimitirus turning his attention towards Jericho, "T-thanks f-for the ride."
A smirk made its way to Dimitrius face, deciding he would tease Jericho. "Now I know where you live and I can make your life harder."
Jericho's eyes widened in fright and they also water, he feeling like he made the biggest mistake. "P-please d-d-don't," Jericho stumbled out, his breathing growing heavy. He didn't know what he'd do if the torture started happening at home too.
An amused and devious smile etched its way on Dimitirus face seeing Jericho nervousness. "I'm fücking with you," he says, punching Jericho in the shoulder causing him to wince. Even though Dimitirus tortured him at school, he wouldn't dare torture the guy at home. That was way out of his boundaries and a breach of security. He didn't want to risk going to jail.
Signing, Jericho took off his seat belt and opened the door, getting out the car. Without a second look, he made his way towards the entrance of the house. Dimitirus watched Jericho all the way until he was inside. Once Jericho was inside, Dimitirus put the car in gear, driving towards his home and away from Jerichos.
And he had a feeling that wasn't going to be his last time there.
