Walking into the compound, I immediately begin searching for Jenna assuming she'd be in the art room. Upon walking in though I'm met by an empty room, pencils still spread everywhere but Jenna's presence absent. I figure that the guys had already scooped her up and head to my office to begin working for the day.

"Hey!", Jenna cheers once I walk in, scaring me and making me jump at least a foot in the air. A loud giggle falls from her lips as she continues studying me which there was a lot today to study. My hair was tangled and ruffled, eyes surrounded by dark bags that made me resemble a raccoon along with a long list of other things. I head over taking a seat at my desk, eyes focused on Jenna as she gets up off the floor heading over.

"What's wrong?", she asks standing beside me. Her fingers runs through my dark hair, trying to de tangle it.

"Nothing.", I mutter not having the heart to tell her why I looked the way I do. She was the reason. In the past couple of days especially after we'd gone to the ruins she'd been exhibiting more and more signs of having feelings. One of them being her affection toward me. I'd enjoyed it and even returned it at first unknowingly but slowly it became more obvious to Jordan and I both. That had left me contemplating turning her feelings off for real this time knowing if she kept it up Jordan would catch me, and have my head for it. I couldn't tell Jenna that though, she'd be devastated most likely especially if she found out about me having to shut her feeling off.

"It doesn't seem like nothing.", she says, her lips turning down in a frown. The sad look in her eyes, just begging for me to tell her what's wrong tugs at my heartstrings and I let out a soft sigh.

"Listen you like me right?"

"Yes as a friend.", she states sounding monotone, but the blush on her cheeks betrays her voice. I fight the urge to chuckle at how cute she is and nod.

"Then you have to be more careful. You can't be as attached to me okay?"

"Why not?", she asks furrowing her eyebrows. I take a moment trying to decide how to explain it to her but end up short and make a quick decision that there wasn't any way to explain it.

"You just can't okay. It's for the better.", I say, my voice shaking a bit.

"Okay.", Jenna whispers, tears clouding her eyes. I frown as she heads out of the room without speaking another word obviously upset to a degree I could no longer help after cutting ties.

Sighing I open one of the drawers of my desk, pulling out the tablet the controlled Jenna. As I look through the different things I seek answers for the predicament Id gotten into. Finding nothing that could turn off her liking for just me, or even how she ranked people in terms of liking I give up letting out another sigh. Then I find myself on her emotions and feels screen contemplating turning them off now then just leaving for the day.

I decide against it though knowing it was the only grasp on being human she really had and stuff the tablet back in my drawer. I lock it before heading off to find Aleks or someone I could release some pent up stress on with out giving the Jenna situation away.

"Hurry up!", James yells, as Jenna scrambles to finish the obstacle course in front of her. So far he biggest struggle was running at the speed James wanted while wearing her heavy bullet proof gear. It was a practically impossible task though as not even the fastest of us guys could move at the pace he wanted-and that was with out the gear.

"I am!", Jenna yells back, her voice strained as she huffs and puffs coming to a stop. James gives me a pointed look wanting me to go help her. Quietly I go over and help Jenna up from where she had collapsed onto the ground her breathing heavy and harsh. She looks at me with narrowed eyes but doesn't say anything as she focuses on evening out her breathing.

I set her in a chair then hurry to get her bottle of water. Jenna takes it gratefully and begins chugging down the water without a second thought. My eyes grow wide and I quickly pull the bottle back earning another glare.

"Easy there, you'll get sick.", I mutter heading over to sit down next to James.

"What's her problem?", he asks observing Jenna as she continues trying to calm herself down.

"Probably the fact you're pushing her further than any human can go."

"She's more than a human though.", James points out. I roll my eyes at his exceedingly high standards for Jenna. Yes she isn't human, but she's also not superhuman.

"She's not superhuman though.", I state voicing my thoughts. James takes a minute to think about this before nodding in agreement. Looking toward Jenna I wait for James to say something.

"Jenna you're dismissed.", James barks before disappearing into his office, hopefully to rethink his training methods. Sighing in relief, I go back to my own office. As I walk in, I spot Jordan seated in the spare chair Jenna had been in this morning. Trying not to act nervous, I proceed to my desk like usual.

"Hey Jordan.", I say cautiously. He waves then waits for me to sit before speaking.

"Hey Kevin."

"Can I help you?", I ask slowly, careful not to sound nervous nor suspicious but to just sound curious.

"Why is Jenna so attached to you?", he asks. At his question my blood runs cold, and I find my self fidgeting a tad.

"I'm not sure sir. Everything is just like we've had set up."

"Have you checked it lately? Made sure Dans adjustments have changed anything?", he asks.

"Yeah I have, I checked everything because I noticed as well.", I lie. Well I had checked everything but it wasn't ever set up right to begin with. Jordan didn't know that though, and what he doesn't know wouldn't hurt, but if he found out it'd for sure hurt me.

"Hmm well keep any eye on it and do regular checks. Also we're thinking about having you do the training. It might work better with you since she has that attachment of sorts.", Jordan states. I blink a few times making sure I'm not imagining things.

"Say what?"

"You'll probably be in charge of Jenna's training, you get her obviously.", Jordan replies standing up. I nod nervously not finding my voice to speak. I'd already told Jenna that she couldn't cling to me anymore and now they wanted to play off that. I doubt that'd go over well then again maybe she'd like it.

"Get to work though, I'm going to go talk it over with the others.", Jordan says before leaving the room. As soon as he's out of the room I let out a deep sigh and rest my head in my hands. At this point I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Obviously Jordan was intrigued by Jenna's attraction to me and why she was like that, I had tried to stop it and it was almost like Jordan had know I had since he was suddenly having me take over her training. It was all rather aggravating as well as terrifying for me. It was aggravating because I'm trying to alleviate the problem and he's just making it worse and terrifying because it could grow to the point where it's blatantly obvious Jenna has feeling which means horrible consequences for me.

The worst part though, is the more time I spend thinking about it, the less scared I am and the more I get the feeling I should get out and take Jenna with me..
