Dylan POV

"Ready?" Ashton asked me as I put the last of my makeup on. I nodded. "You look great baby" he kissed my cheek. "Thanks" I smiled. We walked outside but instead of walking to his car a limo pulled up. "Ashton" I said turning to him. "What?" He smiled. "why did you rent a limo?" I asked. "For you babygirl" he said kissing me I smiled. We stepped into the limo and it started moving. "What is up with you tonight?" I asked him smiling. "Just doing something special for the love of my life" he smiled rubbing up and down my thigh. I laughed.

"Love of your life?" I asked. "Of course" he said kissing my cheek. Ok not gonna lie I was getting nervous. We pulled up to a very expensive hotel. We walked in. "Why did you take me to a hotel?" I laughed. "Because it has one of the nicest restaurants in town" he smiled as he intertwined our fingers. We walked up to the restaurant. "Reservations for ashton?" The guy asked us. Ashton nodded. Then he led us to a table and we sat down. "This place is amazing" I said looking around.

He smiled. We started have a normal conversation and we ordered our food. "Oh my gosh I'm so full" I said pushing my plate forward. "Dylan" he said grabbing my hands across the table. "Ashton" I laughed. "When I met you two years ago I wasn't a good person" he started. "I wasn't in the best place then I met you" he smiled and squeezed my hands. "When I ran into you in the coffee shop it changed my life for the better, you made me a better person Dylan" he said looking at me not letting go of my hands.

"Awe you make me a better person too ash" I smiled. "And I cant imagine my life with anyone else" he said. wait. "Dylan Henderson I want to spend the rest of my life with you" he said not breaking eye contact. My throat went dry and I couldn't breath. He let go of my hands and started to get up. I watched him move the whole time.

He reached for his pocket and taking a small box out of it before getting down on one knee in front of me. "Dylan will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" He said opening the ring box. My eyes widened at the huge ass diamond. Music pays well. All I could think about was Jake. Jakes reaction, all of things we ever did. The way he held me. The way he said he loved me was all I could think about Why could I only think about Jake?! You love Ashton. You love Ashton. I looked at him. "Yes" I smiled. Everyone started clapping. He smiled and put on the ring. He stood up and kissed me. "I love you" he mumbled in my ear as he picked me up for a hug. "I love you too" I said.

"it's official Ashton Irwin has proposed to Dylan Henderson that's it on the latest news-" I clicked off the tv. "How did it get out so fast?" I looked up as Ashton walked to the couch. "Well I kinda did it in a public place" he said sitting next to me. He kissed my cheek. "I love you" he said. I laughed"Ash you've been saying that for 12 hours straight" "and I will continue to say that until the day I die" he said laying his head on my lap. I smiled. Marriage is really forever isn't it? I gulped.

I pulled up to the trap house and walked out. Right as I was about to knock on the door Devyn opened it and hugged me. "Congratulations!" She yelled. "Thanks" I said. "Let me see it!" She said grabbing my hand. "Where is it?" She asked and looked up at me. "Why aren't you wearing it?" She asked. "Can I talk to you?" I asked nervously playing with my hands. "Yeah yeah of course" she said as we walked to her room. She closed the door and I sat down on her bed. "What's up?" She asked. "I-I said yes" I mumbled. "Yeah aren't you happy don't you love him?" She asked sitting down on her bed with me.

"I mean I do love him a lot" I said. "Ok so what's the problem?" She asked. "I don't know I just don't feel right about anything" I said as my eyes watered up. "Hey hey hey don't cry, what don't you feel right about?" She asked putting her hand on my thigh in a friendly manner. "I-i don't wanna say you will think I'm crazy and stupid" I mumbled as a let a few tears fall.

"No no I won't I'm here let me help you" she said. "When he was proposing all I could think about was jake" I mumbled. "Awe baby" she said hugging me. "Your not over jake are you?" She said rubbing my back while I cried on her shoulder. "I-I thought I was but Ashton I love him" I said. "Did you stop loving jake?" She asked. "I loved jake so much it hurt" I said crying.

"I don't know if I can just make that go away" I said crying. "And Ashton still d-doesn't know about C-Calum and I don't w-wanna ruin their f-friendship but I d-don't wanna l-lie to him" I cried. "Ok ok babe" she said grabbing my shoulders so I was in front of her. "The first step is telling Ashton about what happened with Calum" she said. I nodded. "But I'm so scared" I said. "I know you are" She said hugging me. "I'm so scared about everything" I said hysterically crying. "and Ashton has no idea" I said.
