Throughout the day, Todoroki and Midoriya dealt with multiple states from people in the halls and even in their class. Though, Todoroki refused to pay much attention to them. Instead he tried his best to pay attention to Midoriya.
Eventually, it got to the point of lunch and the two walked there together. When they got to lunch, they saw Toga, Dabi, and Shigaraki waiting at the table for them. Toga was waving quickly for them to come over, while Dabi was leaning his head on Shigaraki's shoulder as he played his games.
The two walked over and Todoroki immediately sat beside Midoriya. Of course, Midoriya didn't seem to mind. In fact, he liked it actually. They were getting a few stares while they were sitting, but Todoroki just ignored them. Midoriya was trying his best, but he could feel the staring while he looked away. He didn't like the feeling of being stared at, so it only made him more nervous than he already was.
"Don't pay attention to it." Todoroki patted Midoriya's head and even smiled a little at him. It made Midoriya blush slightly and look down. Since everything that had happened with Bakugo, Midoriya couldn't help but start to grow feelings for Todoroki. He was practically his savior and he was still here helping him.
"Y-you're right. Thanks Todoroki." Midoriya started to fidget with his hands and look down with a blush. Todoroki of course noticed this, but he wasn't going to mention it.
"You can call me Shoto. We've been through enough to the point we're close enough for first names." Midoriya was a little surprised by what Todoroki had said, but he nodded his head with a smile.
"Same with me! Y-you can call me Izuku." Midoriya felt as though they were pretty close at this point. They had gone through a traumatic experience together and had stuck it out. Throughout the whole time, Todoroki had never abandoned Midoriya and for that he was thankful.
"You guys are so cute! How long have you been dating at this point?!" Toga is practically jumping up and down as she sets her head on her hands and her elbows are set on the table. All that could be heard from Dabi and Shigaraki were slight laughter.
"W-we're not d-dating!" Midoriya quickly throws his hands up to defend himself and explain the situation. Though, Todoroki doesn't seem to really move at all. Instead he's just kind of staring ahead with a blank face as it slowly turns red.
"What's wrong Shoto? You're looking a little red there." Dabi teases Todoroki while still leaning on Shigaraki. Shoto quickly snaps out of it and glares at Dabi.
"I'm fine." Todoroki rolls his eyes and tries to calm himself down. Midoriya couldn't help but have noticed the blush that was on Todoroki's face and blushed even harder than before since he had blushed.

~End of Day~

By the end of the day Midoriya and Todoroki were on their way home. They were outside the gates about to leave. Of course, nothing actually goes as planned though. The two were stopped by a particular blonde before they could even leave the actual school gates.
"Izuku? I've been meaning to talk to you. I know things have been crazy, but I really need to tell you something." Monoma practically stood in the way of Midoriya and Todoroki's way. Obviously, Todoroki wasn't too happy with this but he wasn't about to say anything since it wasn't his place.
"Um... sure..!" Midoriya wasn't too sure what this was all about, but he was fine with talking with Monoma. Especially, since he had falsely accused him of being his stalker.
"Can we speak in private?" Monoma clearly wanted the two of them alone, but Todoroki wasn't about to have that. He gave a cold glare to Monoma that clearly said he wasn't about to leave.
"Whatever. If he wants to stay I guess he can.... anyways... I just wanted to say... I really like you Izuku, and I want you to go on a date with me." Monoma went up to Midoriya and held at his hands. He had a smile on his face as he looked into Midoriya's eyes. Though, Midoriya clearly looked uncomfortable. He only looked at Monoma as a friend, nothing more.
"Unfortunately, Izuku is dating me. So, you're a bit too late." Todoroki grabbed Izuku by the waist and pulled him over away from Monoma. Monoma was forced to let go of Midoriya's hands and looked over at Todoroki instead of Izuku. Midoriya had a deep blush on his face and couldn't even look at Monoma or Todoroki he was so embarrassed.
"You're dating Todoroki?" Monoma was clearly angry. His voice had gotten slightly louder as he spoke and his expression said it all. Though, Todoroki seemed completely calm and well, Midoriya was just flustered is all. Of course, Midoriya could deny the fact that they were dating, but then he would have to tell the truth and possibly reject Monoma.
"Y-yes.." That was all that was needed to make Monoma stomp away. Though Todoroki's hand didn't move away from Midoriya's waist. It seemed as though Todoroki had something he wanted to say himself. He pulled Midoriya so he was facing Todoroki.
"Will you date me?" Even though Midoriya had just been confessed by Monoma, it didn't feel the same. He felt his heart racing and his face burning up.
"Yes.." Midoriya looked up at Todoroki with a red face. Just the look caused Todoroki to turn red as well. To say he was happy would be an understatement. He was absolutely ecstatic. He had had feelings for Midoriya for a little while now but had no idea how to face them.
"Can I kiss you?" Midoriya was surprised by this sudden request but nodded his head either way. Todoroki leaned down and kissed Midoriya. He could feel Izuku smiling slightly into the kiss which made him smile a little too. He was genuinely happy in this moment. They both were.
