Karna was busy in removing the wheel. He knew it won't come out but still was trying hus level best.

" Paarth what are you waiting .... kill karna " Krishna said.

Arjuna hesitated,  how can he kill a unarmed warrior.

" Madhav he is unarmed also he has asked us to wait for a while ..... it's not right " Arjuna said.

Krishna showed his fake anger.

" Paarth will you attack him now or shall I kill him with Sudharshan " Krishna said.

" N....no Madhav I will do it " his eyes already filled.

Karna saw Arjuna fixing arrow to his Gandeev.

" Gandeevi ...... you are attacking an unarmed warrior that's too when his  chariot's wheel got stuked to earth is this is your so called kshatra dharma ...this is what your brother Yudhistira thought you as dharma....??? " Karna almost yelled.

Arjun took his arrows back. But  Krishna .....

" O Vasusena Karna you are talking about Dharma vah!!!! you cheated your teacher in order to acquire knowledge..... remember Abhimanyu he was also unarmed when you stabbed him  .......  calling a woman as impure and when she was being disrespected staying quiet is called as Dharma from your view right Angraaj from you we have have to learn Dharma??? " Krishna said but Karna gasped.

" Vasudev I thought you could understand me but you too failed in it don't you know why I called Draupadi as impure and you really don't know why I stabbed Abhimanyu????? " Karna thought looking at Krishna and Krishna smiled at him.

But the next moment Karna was enraged looking at Paartha and his Saarathi , he took his Vijaya and closed his anger filled eyes to invoked bramhastra.

But he tried tried and tried but he didn't remembered the chant of bramhastra. He opened his eyes and decided to invoke Bhargavastra but he didn't remembered that chant too.

He remembered Parashuraam's curse and Karna gave a pale smile for himself.

" to remember my guru's curse to me this Murari said about him ..... you indeed clever o Madhusudhan " he thought.

Suddenly his surroundings stood still. Krishna came to him.

" Mamashree Arjun and pitashree karna should be stopped at any cost " Vatsala thought and headed towards Kurukshetra.

" Angraaj .... if a great warrior like you have supported aggrieved people many of them would have been leading a great life today  ..... you had power , talent and a pure good heart which could sense other's agony but you dedicated all these to Dhuryodhan who had hatred and nothing else than that you kept quiet in Draupadi's vastraharan .... your one word 'no' to your friend on that day would have stopped this huge destruction..... Dhuryodhan didn't bring and change in Suta kul after accepting you as his friend... his friendship was false " Krishna said.

" No Vasudev I can accept all your words because those were my faults but I cannot agree with your words on our friendship. I could have stopped him that day but kept quiet because of the fear of losing him... if I would have asked him for betterment of my kul he would have done it but I didn't..... I know he made friendship with me to kill Pandavas but after that I never he never treated me like that... he used to tell me all his plans even though I knew it was wrong I didn't argued with him it was my fault ..... and yeah I was angry with Draupadi .... but she only informed us through a servent the reason of her refusal to enter the sabha that is she has not yet completed her Ritusnan. I thought to save her... and to save her ...... I called her as impure in order to make my Mitr to realise that women on that time not allowed to these places but all took me wrong " Karna said.

" you know this war is taking place not because of Dhuryodhan,  it's because of Mahamahim Bhishma , Guru Drona and you Radhey.... if you 3 would have thought of Dharma for few minutes keeping aside all your devotions, promise aside this destruction would have been avoided.
But anyhow , accept your death now " Krishna asked him.

" you are right Vasudev " Karna smiled at him.

" I accepting you order as well as my death too. Ask my mother Kunti to forgive me if I have hurted her ..... tell Draupadi that I have shed my blood to wash away stains of her insult and also ask her to forgive me if she could" Karna said.

" but one question Vasudev .... will my competence never have an identity??" He asked with teary eyes.

" Radhey ... you are not having your Vijay in your hands... your chariot's wheel is stuck in in the ground... you have forgotten your knowledge ... We have to take a advantage of such a situation to slay you ..... Is this not an evidence of your competence?? " Krishna was already in tears.

Karna smiled in content and Krishna embraced him.

" congratulations Vasudev... you have removed one more hurdle from your way of establishing Dharma " Karna patted his back and broke their hug.

" My last wish .... I wish my last rites should be done by a sinless one I can't find anyone like that except you Vasudev... promise me that you will perform my rites " Karna said to Krishna with a bright smile and forwards his open empty palm

Krishna places his palm on Karna's palm " sure Ra...dhe.y " his voice broke.

" but I won't give up till end " Karna giggled at him.

Krishna wiped his tears and returned to his chariot and their surroundings resumed.

Karna completely concentrated on removing the wheel he was trying his level best.

" don't hesitate now paarth kill him " Krishna urged Arjuna.

With a heavy heart Arjuna fixed Anjalikastra and aimed it to Karna's neck.

Arjun's eyes were streaming with tears and he relesed his arrow which took the life of Karna.

Karna fell on the ground and Arjuna stood still with a unknown pain in his heart.

Unable witness this Suryadev ordered his charioteer Aruna to drive away from there.

" Mitr karn " Dhuryodhan collapsed there and fell unconscious. With a fear of being captured Shakuni and others carried him back to the camp.

Vatsala enterd " Mamashree n.." She didn't completed her words as she witnessed Arjuna in tears and Karna on the ground motionless.

She collapsed there. She couldn't do anything but shed tears.

Pandavas and other warriors too left for there respective camps.

The news from war field reached Kunti. She rushed towards it.

Karna held his last breath with the only hope that is his mother would come.

Kunti was searching Karna in those piles of corpse.

" Karna " she called him.

Karna drew a deep breath and opened his eyes to find Kunti. He gathered all his energy left in him and...

" Maaa " he called her.

" Karnaaa " she yelled and rushed towards him with tears.

She just moved her hands over his body and was trying to say something but failed. She remembered Karna's last words with her.

She slowly placed his head on her laps.

" haa " Karna sighed.  " I got the heaven on earth itself maa ... I am sorry mataa .... ma...t..h....aaa " blood spilled out from his mouth and hence Maharati Kuntiputra Radhey Karna breathed his last.

" Karnaaaaa " Kunti cried and banged her head and chest. Even a stone hearted person also could have reduced into tears at that sight.

" I am a bad and most cruel mother Karna forgive me please.... now I cannot do anything accept coming to you and washing your feet in my tears go to heaven and wait for me ..... I am sorry putr " She kissed his forehead a numerous times and left the place with a heavy heart.

Vatsala came near his corpse and sat near his feet and clutched them . Her tears wetted his cold feet.

Krishna came back to the war field.

" Vatsu " He called her with a confused voice.

" I knew it pitashree " Vatsala said.

It was Karna's ill fate that even 4 members were not available to carry him on their shoulders for his last journey.

Krishna carried Karna's corpse on his shoulder abd walked towards the temple along with Vatsala.
